I'd also consider how much time it takes to make them compared to a scrunchie. There is a lot/a lot of detail in those guys! Don't under sell yourself woman! :)
I used to make them a few years back. It was popular in Asia/SEA and marketed as Korean bow. It’s amazing to learn that it’s trending now in your side of the world. ☺️
I’m really excited for you to make the new bows. You can see your face light up and passion show through. Thank you for sharing your journey as well! ❤
Love your bows!! I make mine on the sewing machine as well, I make the stitch length longer and use the threads to scrunch them up, saves me loads of time!
The bows are super cute. Have you tried using the machine to create a gathering stitch (longer stitch length) when joining the bow pieces and pulling it to gather? Only backstitch at the beginning, still do the 2 rows, then pull to gather and manually finish the threads. It might shorten the time to make. Just need to remember to change back to normal stitch ones bow tops done 😅. ❤❤
Bows are not really my style, but I would love to make some for markets. I actually saw 2 people wearing satin bows today and was so surprised, cause I have not seen that in ages.
❤Absolutely adorable bows !! I like them both, but I think I would lean towards the triple layer for me personally to wear. Then again, it might depend on the occasion. ❤
Taylah, There is a ribbon on the market, you put it on the fabric, fold it, iron it and it sticks, so you don't need to sew it on the machine. You could take the test.
I think I’ll definitely need to use my bigger iron when I make these in bulk! The cricut mini wasn’t heavy/hot enough to evenly press the sides 💝 thank you 😄
I have not seen any teens or young person wearing huge Jo Jo type bows but I live in Melbourne and went into Docklands to work most of December and January - it’s school holidays so lots of young people around. I mean they are really pretty but Jo Jo has tainted the big arse bows for me 😂😂
The bows are beautiful. Happy to hear they are trending. I always loved putting bows in my hair when I was younger. Thank you for bringing them back.
I love the white ones. I agree it’s trending. I’ve seen so many post about bows for 2024 brides. Which is what brought me here

I think the bows are super cute. The bigger and more opulent, the better.

I LOVE the bows! So cute! Can't wait to see what other ones you make! :)
Very cute! I wouldn't use the open clip for the big bows, I think the closed clips would be better, especially those with extra thick hair.
Agree, the closed clip will help it stay straight in the hair, open clip will slide with the added weight of bow

What is it called?
I’m wondering if a bigger iron would save time? You could iron both seams at the same time?
