      Thanks. I’m not into the habit of lying when I review something as you lose all credibility and people don’t trust your reviews. I’ve read so many “it’s great and nothing to wrong here” reviews to not bother reading the magazines any more.

    Leigh, Never consider your information a waste of time it has value and I have learnt a few things I didn't know from this video.
    If I was going to buy this keyboard for my grandkids. I would now have a better understanding of what its value is. Not only for this instrument but others that I would listen to and compare, and see if they have similar faults.
    I'm sure your video will help this company make improvements. Ex-Kent Brit, living in Perth OZ.

    Hi Leigh …. Thanks for a very interesting video. I am a novice piano player and have been thinking of creating a video about the AKX10 from my point of view (lack of experience). Anyway, I researched the noise from the sustain pedal question and found one solution. Put your main piano sound on R2 instead of R1 and the noise will be gone.

    I use this live with another keyboard in a tribute band snd ive never noticed looping people where coming up and daying wow what that keyboard it has some gorgeous sounds so play it solo maybe you can pull it apart but play it eith the drums n bass and singing and i pnly get compliments . Ive tweaked sone sounds to get the eq right ir to deal to some over use of effects ir vibrato so thats important. Some eps i tweaked alot to get the sound i want. Oresets on keyboards are often not brilliant. Ive plsyed professionally for 40 years eith analog gear like a yamaha cs80 DX7s and recently the ASM hydrasynth to accompliemt this board. I need nothing else. Its not perfect but tweaking stuff its better than smything we had 10 years ago.

    You can avoid the pedal noise when you set the piano sound as layer 3 sound (R3) or layer 2 (R2)

    Hi Leigh
    Can I just say I really enjoy your tutorials the way you put things across is just awesome, I live in New Zealand and things tend to get here much later than most countries I was fortunate enough to have one of the first Genos in the country and have found your tutorials a god send. I have purchased a Korg Kronos which is a bit of a mind field as I’m sure you’ll be aware, is the Kronos something you might consider featuring in the future or not ? Look forward to your next tutorial 👍

    I think you need to keep to your genos better sounds. I brought one recently and absolutely love it, best things I bought in ages, but I agree you get what you pay for. Some sounds are good but some are rubbish. It's good to see you that showing people on TH-cam various keyboards.

      Not everyone has a budget of £5k. This is amazing value for money but with a little more love and attention to styles and sounds they could charge more easily. It’s a great instrument for beginners or those who want a easy to carry second keyboard.

    Hello Leigh, yamaha and korg can not beat this. 760mb sampling memory, vocoder, the style and sampling software, buildin soundcard use with daw, check the effects section i think rotery is available for reet instruments. It is indeed not a baby genos because that would still cost +2000 euro, pounds or dollars. I sold my korg pa800 because this thing is superior for the money. The only let down are some voices, the keys and the format. I would like professional keys and 76 keys. So my solution is sampling and to use an 88 midi keyboard and use midi and split the voices to upper and lower layer keybed. 🙏

    • @williamshaneblyth
      @williamshaneblyth ปีที่แล้ว

      It's brilliant. I use an 88 key nektar controller. There is so so much in this board. Even Bluetooth and USB audio interface the vocal remover I don't use but it's their fir karaoke and the inputs cause the speakers are so good I put my other boards into it . I also if on stage doing a gig use bigger monitors but for a small room it's enough to monitor the board and the rest goes front of house.

    Can Yamaha styles/sounds work in Medeli?

    Hi mate. How is the keybed so far? still smooth? I got a Yamaha PSR SX700 but the keybed quality isnt good. Alot of the keys including the black keys started making that clunky irritating noise just 6 months after purchase. Also would you rate it on par with the Yamaha PSR SX700 or even the SX900 in terms of the voice sample quality? Thanks.

    you can layer how many voices ? two voices ?

  • @musk771
    @musk771 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The organ voices are worse than on 1990 keyboards. I believe, even if entry level instrument, the memory cost almost nothing nowadays, so it is possible to have good samples. Good dry sample with a decent dsp to emulate a rotary speaker shouldn't cost a fortune. Casio does much better in this regard.

    • @sanjairamlal4007
      @sanjairamlal4007 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are two rotery effects and 760mb sample possibility. I don’t think any casio, yamaha or korg can beat that.

    • @musk771
      @musk771 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sanjairamlal4007 No doubt about that but I judge by my ears. And here the organ samples are very cheap.
