I agree with all your comments. I have sailed Carnival, Royal and Norwegian. I prefer the vibe on Carnival but loved Cococay so much that I'm taking my kids on Freedom of the seas next month just so they can experience it.
I think you're pretty spot on with your opinions/assessments of RC and Carnival. I love, love, love RC, but I agree that the music selections on RC can use a little help. I always make sure I let RC know, in the survey after the cruise, how I feel about their music selections from an African American's viewpoint. They need a little more variety and inclusion. Both of their private islands: Coco Cay and Labadee are amazing, and the unlimited drink package can be used on both. When, and if, you get an opportunity to sail on a RC Oasis class ship I think you'll love it.
I’ve heard good things about the Oasis class. I need to try it. I need to start letting them know about the music in the survey too. It’s good that you do that! Although, I feel like they limit the music selection purposefully 🤦🏾♀️🙄 which is sad
Im glad you made this video I've been of several carnival cruises as well. Im going on Royal this summer. Im scared because I may not like it I dont want to be bored
They are definitely different vibes. There are a lot of activities on Royal, so I don’t think you will be bored; however, don’t expect the same music experience or night club experience as Carnival.
I thank you for this video Definitely subscribing. I just took my first cruise a week ago and loved it at carnival Liberty. I had its pros and cons but for the most part I loved it. I’m planning my next cruise for my birthday and was unsure if I should continue with Carnival or try Royal Caribbean. This video helped me make that decision. I’ll try Royal another time 😂
You looking for that good music ain’t you? I feel you 😂 If you would like me to help you book through my travel services, let me know. Doseofluxurytravels.com
I agree with you, I cruise different cruise lines for different reasons, For Fun it is Carnival, If I need a more relaxing vacation, it is Royal and NCL. I will be trying Celebrity Next. I need both for different reasons. The demographics and people are different, on each Cruise Line, Carnival more friendly, Royal Not as friendly, NCL is the same to me as Royal. I love cruising for relaxing on my balcony cabin on both Cruise Lines, NCL I do the Studio cabin for the solo traveler, NCL is the best, I wish they would start having solo cabins with a balcony and Ocean view, Royal has these cabins, but they sell out quickly.
I went on Freedom of the Seas on 04/06/2023 and it was not that great! little boring! Food was BLAH! We ate a lot of Pizza or Johnny Rockets. Coco Cay was GREAT! Food was Yummy! The ship was clean and nice, staff was great but they really need to step it up on the music in the pool area, keeping everyone hype for the vacation! We had Drink package and it was the best thing! Never been on Carnival, next year looking to book Mardi Gras. :)
I have been to both private islands and there is no comparision here. Cococay from Royal Caribbean is hands down the best private island, not even close, sorry Carnival.
Hi! I have not been on MSC yet; however, I can research their amenities for you and help you book if you would like. You can email me: doseofluxurytravels@gmail.com
I love Royal’s Oasis Class ships. I will stick to them in the future because I was very disappointed with my Freedom OTS cruise. I would like to try a new Carnival ship like Mardi Gras.
I agree with your points. We were on the Radiance of the Seas. The quality of the food on Royal was crazy! I really enjoyed all of it. We didn’t do specialty dining either so I’m comparing the buffets. There was a very important UGA football game that weekend we were on board and they figured out a way to get it on. They pulled out a projector and a white sheet and connected it to someone’s phone. 😂 Really appreciate the sports bar for that. The movie theater was a nice surprise too. Forgot we were on a ship for a minute. Same with the solarium. My family felt like Royal was for the older crowd because everything was so chill and calm. They missed the huge Lido Deck parties. Including the fact that everyone was so well put together all day everyday didn’t give you the relaxed feeling of wear what you want like Carnival. The kids club on Royal was better too. My wife is a teacher so she was impressed they had lesson plans and everything. Our kids didn’t mention a preference though. (4 & 10) This year we have to use our credit for Norwegian so we’ll see what it’s like. For now though it seems we are still Carnival ppl.
Norwegian should be fun! I haven’t tried that line yet. Since I was by myself, I didn’t get a feel for the Royal Caribbean kid’s club but my son would prob love it. He loves leaving us and going to the kids club 🤣
😂the opening clip about the pizza 🤣🤣a little hood was about to come out loved it🥰🍕🍕
🤣🤣🤣 the pizza was talking to me
We sailed Harmony in f the seas last October and you are so right … that dam pizza BUST sis I couldn’t get enough of it 😂
Perfect Day at Coco Cay is literally the only reason I wanna sail on Royal. They did that!!
Yea they did an amazing job with Coco Cay!

They will love it! How was Norwegian? I’m trying to decide which cruise line I want to try next.

I’ve never cruised carnival but I heard the vibes are so hype ! I love hip hop and r & b so I’m looking forward to hitting up a carnival cruise
For all the Coco Cay lovers, thoughts on Carnival’s new Celebration Key? Not even open yet but looks like they may compare to Coco Cay.

Definitely different cruises for different reasons. Depends on the vibe you want for that vacation!
I have always cruised with Carnival. I will be cruising on Allure of the Seas soon. Definitely will compare.
That should be fun! Let us know your thoughts on Allure

Agree, like I said in the video, Carnival wins for music and being fun! Royal did an amazing job with Coco Cay!

They did a great job with Cococay!
Yeah I agree with you, BUT we are excited to try Celebration Key when it opens
This was super helpful!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!

One day we will try Royal. Thanksfor sharing!

I definitely want to try the Oasis class! I heard they are very nice. Definitely want to get on Carnival Celebration at some point as well!
Try NCL in my opinion their food is better than RCL and Carnival. I tried the Pizza on Royal, but Carnival was better😊
Definitely want to try NCL!
I myself is loyal to Royal.
Lol definitely enjoy cruising with them!

The pizza is not on many of the royal ships. So carnival wins.
WHAT! Now how they not gonna have pizza on all ships. Smh lol
@@FindingTheForresters I went on a small ship out of Tampa and no pizza to be found. Not much for off hour food at all.
Yeaa nawww dawg free buffet pizza and ice cream ya feel me dawg
Independent of the seas was trash waste of money
LOL! 😂 I haven’t been on that one. It’s part of the Freedom class. I hear their oasis class of ships is best. What didn’t you like about it?
Planning on booking that one, I’m curious what didn’t you like as well?
