I have this watch in several colors and am delighted that it's still in production after all these years. If there's any improvement that I would suggest, it is to make the case slightly smaller. Kudos to Casio for still making watches that are stylish and affordable.
After Much Research I finally found & bought the Black & silver Duro that's been that way for many years(there was a previous model but I was not in watch world as much until father past away. Though we both loved watches-& I wore one daily. Then after possibly damaging it I bought a second-the Blue. WHAT A BEAUTY! The one in video looks like dial is BLUE with a green ring! 👍. I Hope to get more. About 1 year ago a post showed a faded GREEN DIAL! BUT IVE NEVER SEEN THAT IN ANY ADD!! Maybe it's a European release?? CASIO IN CASE YOU SEE THIS-CAN WE GET AN ORANGE DIAL FACE😃PS: I LOVE THE SIZE IT IS NOW!! Many want a smaller size-Sure when you are Younger or have to work with a coughed shirt-maybe make TWO VERSIONS! BUT WHEN YOU GET OLDER-YOU WILL BE GLAD THERES A LARGER FACE! ALSO! WHEN YOUR -DIVE WATCH GOES -UNDER WATER-there will be DISTORTION FROM THE WATER! AND YOU W ILL BE HAPPY ITS BIGGER‼️-I Also like the Robust resin strap! It wont RUST😎👍👍
Oh what a beautiful watch! Super quality for a comparable affordable price… I have to say “comparable“ because now that the “marlin“ logo has gone off the dial, The marlin version of the watches have started to increase in price. A super cool quality watch nonetheless ! Great review!
My wrist is 7-5/8", so it fits me just fine. I bought that "gold" one a month ago from Amazon ($40 USD). I didn't care for the strap, so I replace it with a "vintage Bond" NATO strap. After 3 weeks, it's gained 2 seconds.
Great video, I've ordered the Pepsi I can't wait to get it although I'm sure I'll update the strap. I'm glad I ordered the older one as the new version no longer has the sailfish logo so looks a lot more generic
These Duros are a great value amd impressive watch. 🎉I have four out of the six colors. Waiting for the green and batman watches to drop in price. I have heard of a white duro but not seen one for sale.
Now this is a seriously beautiful watch with an intriguing price! Pity Amazon Europe sells it for more than twice this amount. But I’m traveling to England next week, so chances are I’ll buy one. Finally. A great review! Thank you!
Thanks Anna. I don't mind that they have removed the Marlin logo from the new MDV-107, I just want to see a new smaller case of 40mm or 42mm....here's to hoping 🙂
i liked the review and i like the watch, i have the black & gold version with the marlin front and back unlike the newer versions. the lume is disappointingly short lived however, but the bezel action is fantastic. i would love this watch in a 40mm but casio just wont listen to the watch community. thanks

I bought one today at Walmart for $49.95. They had a Pepsi and Kermit. I went with green. It’s worth every dime.

I have the blue and gilt one and thy are absolute great watches. Mine run less than 4 sec’s a year.

Yes, not such an easy watch to get in EU, a rare beauty at an amazing price. Safe travels to U.K., do keep some spending money for watches!

I love my blue Duro, but I just can't refer to it as a "marlin" when the emblem is a sailfish (check the dorsal fin). Good review!

I was under the impression that Casio had discontinued the Marlin. If they have, then there nuts!!!!
Not yet....They added an MDV-107, that comes without the marlin. The MDV-106 still has it.

So Casio getting rid of it due to copyright ©️ or whatever reason is a bad move. 👎. Why would Casio have the ""rights" to it for 40 years, then suddenly do not! Something seems fishy 🐟. I would love to see an entirely new Marlin range, digital & analogue. Wake up Casio. Give the people what they want, & not what you perceive they do. Which is usually another G'shock*

Casio have used this image to signify highly water resistant models and can be found on models dating back many decades.
