    great idea, I've been thinking about something similar. I was thinking that they should load on in the other direction but after watching your setup it looks like this will work better.

    Think I’ll do that. Hey thanks for not leaving us hanging....I was wondering what you were gonna do with those license plates. It was hurting my OCD to see them come down, especially since they were all angled the same. ✌️

    Great Idea and Awesome Video. I might switch which is the top Item versus bottom. The Lighter or easier to handle should be on top. Another good thing might be making both with spacer so you could switch Top or Bottom positions. I guess you’d have to make sure the have enough room in both positions.
    Thanks for some good Ideas.
    I’m thinking of using the same idea for the removable Windshield.

    Why did you drill new holes in the bottom of the tour pack, Were they not already drilled for your rack?

  • @georgesanchez9971

    Nice idea. I was wondering about the quick disconnect rack. Did you remove the permanent one and replaced it with a quick disconnect for an OEM trunk? Please advice. I am in the process of formulating a plate bracket that will allow me to use an 08 and under trunk on my 09+ quick disconnect support system of my RK. If you have any ideas, I truly welcome them.

    • @MotorHead963

    Built mine but 1/2 copper tube won’t allow the lock to snap into place. All 1/2 inch copper tubes should be the same thickness right?

      It's at least gotta be a 1x6 but I was curious too

    • @aaronw00d
      @aaronw00d 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Assuming they are all the same I used a 1x8 because the mount was just shy of 10” inside. I also used 5/8” steel round bar instead of copper pipe, but I used this video for the idea I just changed the materials a little.
