Akko's own MDA sets come with massive kits that fit boards with split space and weird modifiers like these, for 40 or 30 in sales. XVX also has the same sets/mold, with a bit cheaper PBT for a discounted cost @ about 20.

yes you are correct, Akko does sell a keycap set that would fit this board. I made another video on this board (unboxing) stating those keycaps would work. Unfortunately, at that time, the keycap was sold out. I also wasn't really liking them, just not my vibe. I love XVX keycaps, I have a few of their sets. Since posting this video, they have expanded their keycap inventory which is awesome. Thank you so much for watching :)

Hi :) Great video. I think you did a real good job. The only thing I noticed was that you only did a sound test of switches that were lubed - not before they were lubed :)
I'm really thinking hard about buying this keep, and it'll be the first I have to assemble myself.. I assume I need to buy the keep, switches and keycaps? Surely a stupid question, but I have no clue of what I'm doing :P
Oh, and what do you think of the keyboard? Do you like it?

Hi, thank you so much :)
Unfortunately, I lost the footage of these switches non-lubed. So I wasn’t able to put that here :(
Not a stupid question at all.
Yes, so you’ll need to buy switches and keycaps for this keyboard. This is a DIY kit so it doesn’t come with switches or keycaps. I have another video with this keyboard that’s the unboxing and review. If you’d like to check that out. I go over the keycaps that will work with this keyboard.
I personally love this keyboard. It’s small and easy to use. The only thing is that you are missing certain keys like the question mark or underscore. It was no problem for me bc I was able to remap the keys. But don’t let that discourage you. It’s fun to learn about this. Also, it’s a lot cheaper than most 40% keyboard.

Is there a way to type question marks and exclamation marks with this keyboard?

Yes! For the exclamation, you’ll have to use a combination of shift + fn and hit the Q key. For the question mark, you would have to program one of the keys to the question mark key. I had to do this for a few others like underscore, equal sign and apostrophe. The software is pretty easy to use. The Akko website has instructions of how to program them. Hope this helps
