- This is the Akko ACR Top 40, a 45 key little board that lights up like a spaceship and the fastest keyboard I’ve typed on, when it’s not slowing me down. I’ve been using this for several weeks and recorded this video three times already before settling on this collection of hot takes. Thanks for stopping by!

I use this keyboard and a drop Planck (ortho) with the Colemak-DHm layout as my daily drivers, it's really awesome if you but a bit of work in to customize it to your needs. I have my navigation in the bottom row ("VIM navigation row") and I also have separate layer for the mouse, so I just need that small keyboard to get me through my day (I'm an IT guy). Great video, good to see I'm not the only rabbit hole digger ;-)

Hey @ThatManFromGermany! I took the plunge and bought myself a Planck v7 last week! I should have another plate and the foam kit this weekend and I'll get a video out as soon as possible.
This has really been a huge change for me, and not in a good way. At least not yet. I need to spend a lot more time with it but it is probably definitely maybe going to be my only ergo. It's definitely going to be a journey.

Where did you find this keyboard? I am making this project where I am turning a regular notebook into a functional fallout pip boy themed laptop terminal, I think that this would be perfect!

I bought the akko top 40 with some akko pink poms and akko screw in stabilizers (everything lubed) a few weeks ago and im super happy with it aswell :) if i can ask how did u set the effect at 8:44 ? The transition between the colors looks great but i cant find the effect in via xD
Thanks for the comment…that effect was just caught on camera at the right moment as the colors were transitioning but I agree that it’s a beautiful look.
