Owned by Bell-Gaz, they started with an old end cab and have progressed. They actually have a few other customers which help pay for their own propane cars. They seem to be keeping everything in good shape. Kudos to them. And Thanks for sharing Harrison, it's an interesting little line.
This track led to St-Gabriel de Brandon and served a gravel quarry owned by Francon. Tracks to Brandon were pulled up in 1983, when Francon was on strike. The remaining tracks lead to Notre-Dame des prairie, where Quebec Gatineau R.O.W. starts uo to Lanoraie yard, passing by Saint-Thomas. The Saint-Felix de Valois section formerly served two sand quarries at one time.
Looks like those old Alcos are a lot tougher than they ever got credit for! Here's one still doing what it was built to do and doing it well! Thanks for bringing us along Harrison!
