I am a GSB from Goa,now in Mumbai ..but we cook Goan food everyday and this is my husbands favourite..make it regularly even with our regular Bhendi, I add two additional items to my “vatap “ and that’s hing and 7 ,8 peppercorns. Try it that way too hing gives it an amazing flavour ..we use Goan hing sometimes

We make a simple runny soup of navdhari bhendi adding techa and tamarind. It’s fab and very tasty.
