Man, this is why Samoa Joe is so perfect for AEW! The dude knows how to fight, drop promos, and now he is finally having fun putting over a future champion in AEW in Darby Allin. You could see Joe loved this whole match. One of the few times you see Joe smiling the whole time he is putting over the next Generation. Great match
I love the idea of Joe putting over younger talent but this is way too fast, It should at least build up to a monthly rivaly series of match and potential good storyline till Darby gets the win in the end but no.... it's typical TK's booking.

While long term storytelling and build up is always nice, it’s also nice to just make memorable moments every now and then because it makes for more must see tv and unpredictability ya know? I think AEW for the most part has done a great job of balancing both

I want to thank Samoa Joe for being a man that steps up and was an amazing opponent as well as how he is classy for helping this night for Darby a memorable match. Darby is super amazing as well... and yes I am happy to see him win his second TNT Title and yes in his home town, but these two in the ring made magic,... so truly, both deserve an equal applause.

Darby Allin is one of the hardest working wrestlers over the last few years. He's busted his butt on the Indy circuit, and now getting his respect in AEW! His moves are crazy, but so bad ass! He has NO PROBLEM facing guys 100-150 lbs heavier! The dude deserves every single line of respect and love he's gotten! He is FUN TO WATCH!

What makes Darby such a good champion is how much he cares about the title when he's holding it, he makes the TNT belt feel like the most important thing in the world when he carries it, that's what a good champion does.

I'm all for Darby taking the strap. But I do hope that means Joe drops the ROH tv belt to someone like Brian cage then moves to the main event scene. He's did his dues elevating that title and helping mid card talent get over and look good. An absolute pro Joe is. Great dynamite tonight, my only downer was Jay lethal taking the pin. He's a star but he's been used to job and make young guys look good. Give him the ball, turn him face and let him bring ratings and money in. Lethal as a face doing impersonations on legends or anyone he is feuding with is entertainment and money. Give him the respect he deserves. Imagine a feud with him and Jericho. Lethal dressing up like Jericho, wrestling like him, talking like him would be very entertaining. He is wasted in a heel group. In my opinion the main event talent in AEW should be mjf, Danielson, omega, moxley, Jericho, Joe, Claudio, lethal, Penta, Miro, Malakai, hangman and Andrade.
People chomping at the bit to get a crack at Darby allin should be the likes of Starks, Guevara, Fenix, Bandido, Garcia, yuta, Adam cole, PAC, sabian, Cassidy, jungle boy, hook, Moriarty, Scorpio sky, swerve, danhausen and AR fox. All these boys feuds and matches will be next level.
The all Atlantic picture should be Hobbs, Wardlow, Brian cage, Shawn Spears, Ethan page, luchasaurus, Lance archer, Kyle o'Reilly, Josh woods, Jack Hager, Dalton castle, takeshita, Eddie Kingston, Ortiz, Keith lee

This was the best Dynamite I have seen in a long time. From the new look and format to new storyline and new champion in Darby. If this is a sign of things to come, I may be okay with these changes.
