Roughly about the time that the Houses of Parliament were rebuilt - so they both use that gothic style of architecture that was in vogue at the time. If you are Harry Potter fans, you could have visited the adjacent Kings Cross station, there’s a Platform 9 ¾ there

I don't think you caught the Arch de Triomphe or Notre Dame. Paris has two Statues of Liberty - one on the River Seine and the other one on the grounds of Luxembourg Palace.

Brought back memories of my trip to Paris on the train from London. We had to deal with a strike too. The Parisians are always protesting something, as they should . Just have to be aware of what during your travels

England was very clean Paris not 100% sure about but the tourist areas were clean.
