He has a measured, hypnotic cadence to his voice which I absolutely love! I always thought that kind of speech came with the characters he plays. It's lovely to see a proper interview, he's obviously a very private person and his anxiety in this situation shows (not that I blame him, I can't imagine anything as horrendous as live TV)
Ben is amazing on every level but I really loved the interviewers who were kind enough to not be over enthusiastic and scream at him and act all stupid. They actually were nice, asked decent questions and respected Ben having a hard time doing all this. Lovely.
I love him. He is a magical, enchantingly, old souled, beautiful being. He is so talented and intelligent I can't quite get to grips how perfectly formed and genius he is.
Ben is the Mozart of modern acting. From his earliest years Mr Whishaw has known exactly what to do. That certainty has given him a great start with each new role. I believe he works incredibly hard to create what he knows the script demands. His humility, when talking about his achievements is partly an attempt not to seem complacent. He would not like to come across as a complacent airhead. He is charming, yes, but also deeply serious about his work.
I was Today years old when I realised that It's Him! I struggled to watch the movie Perfume and the brilliance and sensitivity of his portrayal of the character is entirely why. He really is just too brilliant, he made that movie empathetically painful to watch.
I must say that this morning show from Britain is WAAYY ahead of the rubbish we have in Australia. Here, cheeriness gives way to banality but these interviewers seem sincere and intelligent. I tuned in to learn a bit about Mr Wishaw after seeing Criminal Justice and what a fine actor he is.
Need the luck of ten thousand saints in heaven! I'm on the young writer's programme, and I started writing a play with him in mind, so hopefully he'll deign to perform in it.
Awww, don't you just want to give this kid a hug and mother him a bit. No? Just me then. Well since I'm in mother mode: Ben love, a bit of shampoo would work a treat... ;)
it never ceases to amaze me how gentle, sensitive, intelligent and elegant this young man is

I can listen to Ben enunciate consonants all day. Xxx
This man makes me want to get into acting. How much he loves it and how deep he gets into the characters and his capabilities. Its inspiring.

He seems such a charming and unpretentious guy, very likeable.

I totally agree, he is amazing! His performance in Criminal Justice was heartbreaking, how he didn't get a BAFTA for it is something that amazes me.
He is so adorable omg :3
he's such an adorable, intelligent, odd person. I loev that. What more can I say?
Love Ben
I like that he really is here to act.
he said "long long long a time" omg so cute

I will never get over how much he reminds me of one of my autistic students here.
Ben Whishaw intrigues me.
his mild low-tones are killing me it's so beautiful
I went to this guy's school, and notice his accent is sooo different, perhaps unique.
i love ben jiji

He reminds me so much of myself at 15 that I think he's actually taking the piss out of me!!
haha, i actually loove his haircut here! He's so cute and hot at the same time hehe..
I love Ben. That is all.
He's got grace or something.

I never thought I'd hear him say "Loki". XD
What does he know about James bond films
He looks great! Amazing actor, sweet guy. You just want to make babies with him.
he's cute
When he's not acting, he's still acting! Acting shy, timid, coy, and thick.
@TLC489 Ditto
He could at least have combed his unruly hair before doing this interview, which was broadcast to millions of British TV viewers.. He looks a mess.
@bethaneeeee why u are dremeang,, just lost your time,,
he never going to be your boyfriend
He Looks so nervous and so skinny
He’s 42 now and
still looks like he’s about to die of starvation - one suspects he’s rather an attention seeker in life
