Youre very brave to wander around abandoned and ancient places like these. beautifully filmed and thank you for taking the time and doing background stories to share the wonderful chinese ancient towns with us. Take care and thank you for sharing.❤ looking forward to watching you past and future contents ❤
Those vegetable plots at 8:06 definitely look like they are still being actively cultivated. Perhaps the farmers no longer live on the premises full time due to the lack of local infrastructure and services, but the land is not completely abandoned.
古老而美丽,令人难以忘怀,您的无人机拍摄令人惊叹,我们很幸运,也很感激。祝福您制作和分享此视频。🙏 Ancient and beautifully haunting and your drone shots were amazing, we are blessed and grateful. Blessings to you for making and sharing this video.🙏
Thanks for the very immersive video, like a walk into this ancient village brought to viewers. China is truly awe inspiring with her long histories they can be proud of. The Chinese virtue and cultures, never a dull moment to dwell into. There is so much more to absorb and can take a lifetime to grasp it.
Simply magical! Thank you for taking us on this journey. I often wonder if my own village looks like this. I’ve been out of it for 40 years and haven’t returned to ZhongGuo. Very soon hopefully
It must've looked so amazing when the tombs were originally painted red against the backdrop of steep farmlands. The Tujia architecture also looks very interesting and unique with its figurines depicting their culture.Thankyou so much for this echo into the past.
Another awe-inspiring video! The story itself may seem ordinary, but stands out as something special among the myriad of tiring video travel tales. The cinematography is of professional quality. Together with the crispy images of the cruel effects of time on the forgotten place, the slow-moving music, at times interrupted by only sounds of the nature, gives an eery feeling. The narration sounds simple, and yet is intimate and captivating. It's a true gem 👍What a talented person!
Wow! It was an excellent tour, thank you for taking the time and sharing this with us. I'm very impressed by the old ways, the way people live and how they thrive in such places. Yet it is also sad about the fact that it is abandoned.
I accidentally came upon this just now, and I absolutely love it. I'm very interested about China ever since I heard from my aunt that our great, great, grandmother was originally from China. Unfortunately all the blogs I've seen are in Chinese. So, thank you so much for speaking in English.
Such a wonderful example of how people used to live in China ❤. You went on a trip tgrough the past ,thanks for sharing 👍.Greetings from England 🏴 Simon and Beth ❤❤❤
This was an extremely professional, well-done video. It was as professional as it was interesting. I have great urbex groups in every major continent now! I'm so happy I found your channel. The cultural knowledge and history you inject is very valuable to me. I loved this video, and I look forward to watching the rest of yours. What a beautiful country. I wish you success and, most of all, safety in your travels.
Come cross to see this video! The topic is interesting to me because I just learn this first time even though Hubei is my home province! Thanks to the author here for her beautiful work and English expression!
Another superb and unique video. Excellent editing and narration as always. Thank you for showing the world these lost villages and locations in China.
Sehr interessant, sehr schön. Schade, daß das alles verfällt und die Natur es sich zurückerobert. Vielen Dank für diese beeindruckende Entdeckungsreise, Honglin Li ❤❤❤❤❤
I loved EVERYTHING about your video: the nature, the history lesson, the music etc. Thank You. LOVE and PEACE to the WORLD MAWR Delray Beach, Florida USA
Great video thanks. I am interested in places that are far away from the tourist trail. The people of Yumuzhai must have been prosperous in the past. The stone work of the old buildings is very high quality, which suggests wealth. You also mentioned 'troops', which suggests some kind of organized army or militia, which is not cheap.
As a Westerner I find it quite challenging to understand all the intricacies of Chinese history, but even if I don't know all the details of these places it's still fascinating to see the remnants of this culture from hundreds of years ago. Great work!
My grandparents used to live in a house on the mountain like the one shown in the video7:08, excpet fewer stone are being used, but the structure in general are the same, We call this kind of house 吊脚楼(diao jiao lou)it seem one floor house but from other perspective there are typical partly 2 floor which the under floor is being used as storage, places you keep your animal (pigs and cows the most of the time) and toilet. I used to live there every spring festive, and summer vacations despite I was born and live in Beijing as one of Tujia people. the building fell apart 15 years ago due to lack of maintenance. 11 years ago I went there once again and find one of my old photos in the ruin and it's quite a suprise. till this day, I often recall my life living there on a montain surrounded by nature.
Thank you for showing us the unseen parts of China. Please explore more areas and share their traditions and culture with us. I love learning about how people live in different regions. Actually, I am watching from India. Love from India💌
Thank you for uploading after a while! I've been eagerly waiting for your new video. You are one of the best TH-camrs, alongside Little Chinese Everywhere. You both have unique concepts, but both are equally awesome!
Your video is well done. The abandoned village is beautiful. I love the emptiness and quietness of the town. The building architecture is awesome. Please do some other old style forgotten village in your next video. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place..!!! ❤
I love how immersive is the video! I also appreciate the subtle music and the prolonged silences, that made it easier to appreciate the beauty of the place
Such a beautiful place. Great job presenting such a captivating and intriguing part of China's past. I look forward to more content from you. New follower here for sure 👍
Hong Li , very courageous of you to visit such ancent tomb and abandon sites. Even by watching the video, I can feel there are still the spirits there. Take care. ❤
Such a quality discovery. Fog is such a beautiful weather condition, to see an isolated rural village tell such a lovely story through it's design and location. Really enjoyed the choice of music to support the visuals. Wicked stuff!
What a stunning video and stunning area. There’s something mysterious and even other-worldly about abandoned areas. One wonders how they lived, whether they enjoyed life so close to nature and the ancestors, despite the bandits. Thank you for a fascinating video. 💖💖💖
Stunning! I am always in awe of the beauty, history and diversity of China. Thank you for sharing and teaching me! I look forward to watching more of your videos in the future!
Luckily this came up in my suggestions! I really enjoyed this, so interesting and very well done! You are one brave woman to explore all these areas on your own. Subscribed!

What an incredibly beautiful place. Thank you for sharing the history and majesty of the people and customs. I hope it can be preserved somehow, it's a tragedy that it had to be abandoned.
WoW ... What a beautiful and interesting video. It would be absolutely worth revitalizing and rebuilding in a traditional way. Really a beautiful spot. Thanks for this video!

Magníficas construcciones en terrenos de lo más alto y empinado. Y aún más asombroso es que fueron construidos durante "el siglo de la humillación". Aún en sus peores tiempos los chinos fueron capaces de hacer tales obras!

Thanks for exploring and sharing these locations ! Take care ?
I'm totally new at your channel.. totally mind blowing, breath taking and amazing..it brings me back to the past.. Subscribed..
