This sermon also reminded me of recent readings about closed and open adoption, retailers and appearance rules, plus the way we individually get in our own heads. All this can put up unnecessary and disadvantageous barriers. Praying we reconsider how we may be playing favorites and inviting disadvantage more so than advantage.
