    I have a hilarious story about "GARredge/GarAGE". I'm American, and I was friends with a Cockney fella who lived over here and was married to am American girl. He was actually Nick Hawkins from B.A.D. (Big Audio Dynamite). Our wives were singers at the Motown Café inside the New York New York Hotel years ago. One day we had set up to shoot some promo footage of our wives' Motown Tribute singing group. We had the front room set up with a camera and green screen, and had the front door locked so no one would come in that way. When the band members turned up, (All Americans female musicians), and rang the bell, Nick shouts in his Cockney: "Go frew the GARage"! We hear "Whaaaat"? Nick again "GO FREW THE GARage"! "WHAAAT"? Then I shout in American "Go through the garAGE"! "OOOHHH, OK"! Nick's facial expression was the spit of Rick Mayall's "Rick" from the Young One's.

      @@jw42uk US Garage Rock was the origins on United States West Coast Punk, and Pacific Northwest Grunge, from the '70s through the '90s, and back to mainly punk with a bit of metal from 2000 to present.
      I am curious what the difference is with UK Garage?
      As a European, I find different internationals genre interpretations interesting.
      But then, I also like mashup via DJ Schmolli, and how he weaves multiple genres into one.

    Speaking of X-Factor remember when #MishaB was racially abused by Tulisa and years later Gary Barlow admitted that they create drama to boost the ratings (paraphrasing). Then years later Misha B had the courage to speak on her experience on X-Factor and Tulisa made a poor apology and done another apology that still wasn't good enough

    • @xxxoxxoxxx
      @xxxoxxoxxx 2 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      First of all Misha wasn’t racially abused by Tulisa. The producers made Tulisa confront Misha on live tv about Misha bullying her acts which is true cos she made one of Tulisa’s acts cry. There’s speculation that it was one of the little mix girls. Anyway, cos Tulisa done it live on TV, Misha didn’t like that it was done live and accused Tulisa AND Louis Walsh years later of corrupted agenda to frame her as a bully. Which then she called Tulisa a bully. The producers told Gary to do it but he said no so Tulisa did it instead. Tulisa called her “feisty and mean” which she was. A lot of people witnessed Misha bullying other acts, now she’s trying to play the victim.

      That is so untrue. She was not racially abused by Misha at all. She confronted Misha after she upset contestants backstage. Tulisa apologised that she did it on air but she was in her early 20s and said that she would never confront her on air and would have done it differently nowadays. To say it was to do with racism, that is so untrue.
