Rashmi Samant is an Indian student who came into the spotlight during her time at Oxford University. In 2021, she made history as the first Indian woman elected as President of the Oxford Student Union. However, her tenure was short-lived due to controversy surrounding past social media posts, which led to her resignation. Samant holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical
Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, India, and was pursuing a Master’s in Energy Systems at Oxford. Despite the challenges, she continues to be an advocate for inclusivity and diversity in education. Rashmi’s story highlights the complexities of cultural context and public scrutiny in leadership roles.

People used to look up to India in the ancient times. Foreigners used to study in Nalanda university. I remember ancient Chinese called India “civilized” and “center of knowledge”. Scientists and mathematicians of the islamic golden age admired our work. Greeks and Romans also used to look up to us. Good old times. Anglo-Saxons and other Westerners are the reason that South Asians face discrimination worldwide. They ruined our image by portraying us as animal f*ckers, street sh*tters, unhygienic (India needs to work on hygiene, I admit, but man often it is over exaggerated), savages, r*pists, etc. West butchered our reputation. We think South Asians face discrimination because of skin color, but that is not the case. When you are brown, people think you are from South Asia, and South Asia has a bad image.

I salute Rashmi Samant for having stood up for own Dharma. To me she appeared like a resurrected
Rani Abbakka Chowta. I was raptly engrossed in the podcast inspite of having periodic bouts of goose pimples.
I was also keeping an eye on the body language of Abhijit Ji. His faced showed all the pent-up anger, just like what i was going through.
I hope a documentary movie is made soon to transmit the emotions that Rashmi went through. Hope the movie does not include any mirch massala with an eye on the boc office return; but a movie that portrays the unadulterated facts.

Many Italians and Middle Easterners have light brown to medium olive or brown skin. But, they don't face discrimination. It's all about image.

Thank you for this wonderful podcast. Rashmi is fighter, a true Hindu who has taken on the injustices of the world with so much perseverance. Like a person with true Hindu values, look how has transformed positively, transcending above all the wrong things that happened to her and has taken a positive, enlightening approach instead of turning bitter or negative or violent which is often the path taken by other forces with the pretext of persecution. More power to you Rashmi. Keep up with this commendable work.

More than uniting, it's actually a question of organising and creating powerful platforms. Currently, hindus have very limited number of platforms to make their voice heard worldwide in an organised sort of way, and unfortunately, bjp has failed till now to do anything worthwhile in this regard. A billion people united, but shouting together in an unorganised way is just noise and chaos. But if just 5% of them get organised and speak together for a common cause, it becomes a proclamation which none can ignore.

      Ancient India's Achievments:
      1. Ancient universities such as nalanda, takshashila, vikramshila, and much more over thousands of years ago.
2.Indians had concepts of calculus before west like Leibniz formula for pi (Leibniz just happened tochave re-invent it centuries later), power series for sine and cosine, inverse tangent series, and much more.

      5. Sushruta was one of the pioneers in surgery over 2000 years ago. Surgery was invented in Egypt first, but we pioneered it really well.
      6. Maharishi Kanad, a philosopher, proposed the idea of atoms in 600 BCE. Just like how Greeks also did the same independently.

*Mandir Wapasi Abhiyaan:* The task is streamlined. Almost every district of Bharat has 5 to 10 Temples to be reclaimed. A state-wise _Temple Reclamation Committee_ should be formed that inculdes prominent lawyers and judges along with other temple pandits, Sanatani historians and influential people of Sanatan. They will chalk out a district-wise plan for every temple. Gather circumstantial, archaeological, anecdotal, documented, historical as well as trace and forensic evidences and file the cases simultaneously. Victory is ours. जय हिंदू राष्ट्र 🙏जय अखंड भारत

@tp_2o23 Anglo-Saxons are a cancer. Not only that, India had advanced ship building industries and textile industries. They destroyed it.

@tp_2o23 People used to look up to India in ancient times and study here. We were so prosperous, and people took pride in trading with us. Not only that, the islamic scientists in the golden age praised our mathematical works, Greeks also praised us too. We also had ancient trade relations with Syrians and Chinese were our best friends. Anglo-Saxons are warmongering, r*pists, thieves, murderers, etc.

Such clarity of thought, bravery from someone as young as 25. Kudos for how you braced the vilification at Oxford. It's a shame that all of us Indians living in UK did not come to support you in person at Oxford. As a community, we are really bad at coming together to show our unity for any cause. We are more worried about our day jobs rather than getting together to fight such causes. Maybe that's one of the reasons we are also seen as weak. Brilliant podcast. Inspired to read your books now.
