Descendants 3 has been one of the most popular shows of recent days. But I most of us missed a lot of details, ester-eggs, plot-holes etc. In this episode we’re exploring top-10 things that you didn’t noticed on Descendants 3. Enjoy!
The thing about Audrey being able to touch the scepter:-
You see, Maleficent was calling Audrey to the scepter so that she would use it since Mal definitely wasn’t going to follow in her footsteps. So she thought, if Mal wouldn’t, why not switch the story up a bit. Mal took Aurora’s story (other than the sleeping part) and Audrey took Maleficent’s part. If you watched the Maleficent movie, you would have seen that Maleficent only turned evil after feeling betrayed by the man she loved. Sound familiar? Yes, the same happened to Audrey. What I think is that the more bitter Audrey became, the more she reminded Maleficent of her past self. She gave Audrey the oppurtunity that she had once given Mal and Mal had rejected. Maleficent was not happy with Mal for changing the story. Then, she had an idea. Mal was getting a happily ever after like the princesses, then why shouldn’t Audrey, who hates Mal, become a villain. Mal became the Sleeping Beauty (without sleeping) and Audrey became the Maleficent (Cursing Mal and everyone else in Auradon). Mal and Audrey switched stories! As long as Maleficent allowed it, she could touch the scepter and not be cursed.

Dizzy wasn't the only one who got an invitation, she was the only one showed because of her closeness to Evie we see in D2. In D3, that was the official notice that she would be going. You can also see all the invitations everyone has in Good To Be Bad.
The scepter with the curse broke in descendants 1 thats a new scepter and it controls itself the scepter put the guard to sleep that scepter is evil it says it in the descendants book
I think the staff let her touch it without getting cursed because it wanted her to have it. Also it was probably the staffs voice not mal or maleficents.

Huh....???? It was a museum for un-used magic items, they wanted Mal to put her Spell book there as well. So, yes every1 knew it was there! That makes no sense that know1 knew it was there when its a Museum & not some hidden top secret facility! Just not understanding ur logic is all...not meaning to come off rude! Just Saying...
No Bethany Maleficent's other daughter knew Audrey and she protected the staff then she saw Audrey and called her
Ken Kanekkii actually Audrey was going to break the crown but all the sudden maleficent was calling her then that made her wear it and take the scepter
6:55 in the movie, Mal says that nobody knows that the sceptre is there, it's hidden, so when Audrey was singing, the curtains opened up

I think Audrey was able to touch the dragon eye because it saw that Audrey was hurt and anger and the dragon eye was able to use her

the security guard id did not hear the glass break because he was under a sleeping spell and there was no alarm system because Audrey canceled it.
also, the picture in Audrey's room was not ben and mal. if you wait for a second the camera pans the fireplace and you get a closer shot of what is Audrey and ben
Audrey did not fall into a deep spell because she was being called by maleficent.

anger and jealousy it found it's perfect victim so instead of coursing her

She helped Ben with the enchanted lake water but the curse of the scepter could only be reversed by Hades embet
since Audrey is sleeping beauty’s daughter, she didn’t fall into the powers of the scepter because her mother had already been through it

I think the scissors actually belong to the Fates. If anyone has seen the cartoon movie Hercules they would see Hades talking to the Fates. In that movie, the Fates had scissors. We see in that movie that the Fates use the scissors to cut a thread to end a mortal's life. We also see in that movie that the Fates try to cut Hercules' the thread just as he saves Meg witch turns him back into a God.

in D3 on cotillion night, Mal turns into a dragon then changes dresses. when she walked down the stairs with the guards, her dress was long, but then, in the end, her dress was short.

Audrey grabs the sceptre and then once she gets defeated by Mal is when she falls asleep
Audrey fell asleep due to Mal using hades ember. Hades said so himself that the ember won’t do everything it can for him for mal

If you see the Netflix movie- Maleficent- you will kno that maleficent takes sleeping beauty as her own daughter at the end of the movie... maybe that is how audrey did not get cursed when she touched the scepter....

*(Warning this isn’t in order!)*
1.That guard is always sleeping because in D1 Mal spelled him.
2. Maybe when Audrey grabbed the sceptre so it called her knowing that she was weak & would easily fall for the spectres magic because she wanted revenge. & maybe it didn’t spell her cause it knew that she would do anything for revenge & the sceptre wanted to be used again or something idk.
3. Maybe when she grabbed the sceptre it cleared out the floor?...(idk this is a stupid theory.)
4. (mostly people who have baked understand this one) Maybe it was fondant on the cupcake that’s why her hand was clean.

when audrey turned mal into and "old hag" mal told evie that nothing can reverse the curse of the sceptre.... but the when audrey turned ben into the beast jane used the enchanted lake water and he turned back to normal

Also, Mal said "the only thing more powerful than the scepter is Hades' ember"
When Hades walked in the room to save Audrey he walked out with no handcuffs that in the hallway he's handcuffed

The reason why Audrey was able to grab the septor is because the septor sensed Audrey's anger and it wanted to use her as a way to hurt all of Oridon.
When Mel’s mom had the scepter she very mad so when Audrey was close to the scepter it censored that she was mad and started to call her
The one about Audrey turning well she didn’t turn around the chandelier she just turned on the spot so she would stay in the same place😅

In Dc 2 at the end when they are singing after they defeat uma all of a sudden most of there dresses turn short
Also in the last part of decendants 3 when they singed break this down in the forest Ben was a beats he turn human and ended up with a beard and then when they sing break this Down his beard is gone
It disappeared after he turned back human after being turned to stone

It was most likely because Audrey gained evil tendencies and that is why she didn't fall asleep
in another clip you can clearly see that the picture is of Audrey and Ben, Audrey is in a purple dress that looks like Mal's

Audrey and Mal are actually related in some way from maleficent and sleeping beauty’s dad, if you look back on munificent’s backstory they loved each other in till he found out that he had to cut her wings off so he did to become king and not because he loved her, he betrayed her so she became evil and that is when Aurora AKA sleeping beauty was born, but know one noticed that Maleficent and Aurora are related in some way, Aurora at least has some of maleficent’s blood in her, so after Aurora got married some of that blood went to Audrey. So that declare’s Mal and Audrey are related in some kind of way.
My daughter loves this movie and this video! Thank you for putting it together. She noticed that the knights in the Dance scenes switched sides of Mal & Uma when Mal did the spell.
It’s not Ben and mal it’s Ben and Audrey It’s even in the book “Audrey’s Diary”

The crown stuck on because it was probably attached to the wig.
It was held by Bobby pins like Evie’s crown. And you can see her hair was already pink and blue before she put the crown on her head.
Well the have many many wigs so they probably switched it out

There was one overlooked issue that was actually shown in this compilation twice. The first was at 3:42 and again at 7:03.
In this shot(when Audrey is singing Queen of Mean) the sceptre is in her right hand, but the very next shot, the sceptre is in her left and and her right hand is being raised to the ceiling).
I don't know about everyone else, but that caught my attention immediately.
I think Audrey was able to get the scepter because it was calling her

My guess about the scepter was that the scepter was calling her name and it probably knew how upset she was about ben and mal so the scepter was probably like "I wont put you in a deep sleep, i see how upset you are, lets rule the world together!"

When Hades grabs the amber his hair turned into blue flames and that’s why Mal’s hair changed blue when she used the amber

but she didn't have the scepter then so she couldn't have cast the spell
On descendants 1 Ben was going to be graduated as King when he was 16 and Audrey's photo with him and Ben, Ben had the crown on.
7:26 - lol i noticed it too like why her hair changed from purple to purple blue.. its because when mal got the ember and then stepped through the barrier when they were leaving you can notice her get a jolt of energy and then her hair and her outfit have a touch of blue to it ;)
Dizzys dress wasn’t the only thing that changed her hair changed too

I have a lead that ties blood from Mal and Audrey. Maybe when Maleficent cursed Audreys family she put blood in the spell like in Harry Potter
My theory for how Audrey can touch maleficence scepter is because when she turned evil and Audrey and had purple hair like maleficent and Mal
If you read “The Villain Kids’ Guide” it says that Dizzy had to be chosen even though she got an invitation because Ben wanted to make it fair for the other kids
This is what it says word by word: even Dizzy got this invitation from King Ben, she had to put in an official application to be fair to the other villain kids.
when she took the scepter she didn’t got cursed because she was too sad and heartbroken that she can’t get cursed even the scepter called her or soomeone else
Audrey wasn't cursed because Maleficent was calling her to be evil. When she was defeated by Mal she got cursed because she failed.
The senario for dizzy is, what the guard gave her was simply to declare she would be invited, then Evie gave her the official declaration to be brought to aurodon
I saw Celia's stunt double when they were walking back to Auradon right before harry and gil jumped through the barrier. Right when they walked through the barrier it changed back to Celia.
