I mean maybe this movie takes place a couple of years after D3 that’s why uma is allowed to be a principal and I’m excited to see this I personally believe that they would have done the same thing even if Cameron passed away or not like D3 seemed like an ending for the the og 4 so descendants 4 would have probably not been about them anyway and Kylie who plays red mentioned their is a tribute to Carlos in the movie so atleast their not forgotten the core 4
Maybe. I just don't think it will be good because how the trilogy was done. Maybe I would have been fine if Camron hadn't passed away and didn't seem like they're trying to replace the og. But to me it doesn't feel the same. So I guess we have to wait and see.

@@madnessarcade7447 Never said it couldn’t have more than 3 films. I said it should have been considered a spin off series or something else and not a 4th movie. This whole thing just doesn’t sit right with me because they should have kept it as a trilogy and then just do something else that isn’t a 4th movie.

It's not going to be the same without mel ben Eve And all Of them and the fact that they are coming out with a descendant's 4 And To be honest, it doesn't even add up. Mel is not going to be in it And it should continue From there but it's not It's a whole different thing Even do I think i'm gonna watch it It's not gonna be as fun. It's not going to be something I watch over and over Like descendants.

Honestly I'm not going to even consider watching Descendants 4. Number 1 it won't have the original cast and 2 it just doesn't look appealing to watch. I know that Brandy is reprising her role as Cinderella from the 1997 version of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella as well as Paolo who plays the prince in the same version as Brandy, but it wouldn't be the same movie as it was with Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos. We need the four original villian kids to make a Descendants 4 movie work, without them I think the movie will be Blah, Blah, Blah.
That’s a valid opinion and honestly agree with you. It’s just doesn’t feel like “Descendants”. Doesn’t have the same vibe and feeling. I’m just not excited for this movie one bit and been trying to but I just can’t every time I see a new promotion for this film I’m just lost for words in a bad way.

I watched it and listen to it. No thanks. Not my cup of tea. The original is way better and the new version doesn't have the same vibe. That's just my opinions. If you like it then cool. But for me.....not great.
@@kwtherandomchannel7177 i think you have to over it. this is not Descendants 4. This is Spin-off. Story of OG is already ended. Disney has so many story and they should use this universe because it's amazing project. They keep respecting Cameron,we always too.
@@hamzazeyrekkk Ah but the issue is that as much I wish it is a “spin-off” and that it’s “separating” from the other films……it’s not possible when it’s a direct sequel and that it’s literally called: Descendants 4!
Like I said: I think they should have made it as a spinoff and not a direct sequel. Shouldn’t try to talk about the original trilogy as well and be a separate story. I feel like this movie is more of a crash grab than anything else.

They changed descendants because since Cameron Boyce died Dove Cameron Sofia Carson and Booboo Stewart and more actors they said it won't be the same without Cameron Boyce so they did a new descendants with new characters (Also R.I.P Cameron Boyce You Will Forever Be Missed😢💗💗💞💞
May he rest in peace and I understand why but at the same time it could have been a spin off and not a direct sequel. Also there's major red flags for me with this movie. It's not just the original cast that's not going to be part of this movie. It's also the original production team. They didn't make this movie and not part of it. I would have given it a chance of the original production team was making this but they're not.

Guuuuyyyyyysssss stoopp i understand wht your saying but they respected carlos and the og vks by not putting them in it or barely mentioning them in the movie you cant judge a movie just because it wont be the same because be honest if descendants 1 2 3 didnt exist you wouldnt hate the movie as much as you do now
It’s more of the fact that it seems to be more of a crash grab than them actually wanting to do the movie. They don’t have the same people from the previous films to make the movie. I would have enjoyed it if Cameron hadn’t passed away or they had the previous production team. Sorry but I can’t get excited for the movie one bit. The lore for this movie doesn’t make sense. It if we’re a spin off series then maybe I would have enjoyed it but no. This is an actual fourth movie. The third movie ended perfectly and didn’t need a fourth one. If you don’t like how we feel about the movie then please don’t watch my reaction or my opinions on the movie. I grew up on descendants and enjoyed everything about the trilogy. When I heard Cameron passed away it hurt me a lot because I have seen him grown up. I enjoy his acting and everything. I don’t think I would be able to handle this movie because what has happened. I’m glad you’re excited to see more Descendants but for me……it’s too much and I think they should have just left it alone. We don’t need a 4th film.

@@madnessarcade7447 Nope. Because I couldn’t bear to watch it after Cameron’s passing. Also they have stated they wouldn’t feel right doing another movie without Cameron. That’s why they’re not in this movie at all.
I think you're right, Cameron Boyce would probably want the original cast to move forward without him but as us viewers and because everyone who knows about Descendants has always seen Cameron play Carlos and it wouldn't be the same without him and I think that is what the original cast is saying. They can't picture being in a Descendants 4 without there being a Carlos.
I don't them to make descendants 4 without him i don't think mal and the rest of the vk are going to be in it either because of Cameron's tragic dea_h its just not the same without him.Him taking his his last pics and saying his last words not knowing the next day would be his last.And his last goodbyes.
It just has so many red flags. Hopefully it will be a flop.
