Thanx for the video - I want an LTD for the ease of playability but that Gibson heavy tone always wins me over (I have an LP studio)

Thanks for the comment and I hope you get both guitars and then you can feel how one is better than the other and the same

@@hangingdeadguy1 I hope so to ! honestly I can’t stop checking the secondhand market for a good deal on an EC 1000 hahaha

@lillehammerexperimental definitely checking the used market is how to get guitars for a decent price. Most of my guitars are used. Check out guitar center online for deals

Thanks for putting this out. It’s definitely a good comparison because the ltd is around 1099-1399 whereas you can get a studio for 600-1000 used on marketplace. Gibson being American made, nitro finished, and hand crafted too. It just has that extra something special and I want to want the ltd but this confirms my les Paul’s are enough

Cool thanks for the comment. There are little differences between the modern les Paul with a rosewood fingerboard that will make for a warmer sound. The ltd is going to have more snap and attack with ebony but you are correct that an American 🇺🇸 Gibson is just something different from all the other guitars

With ridiculous levels of distortion you could put a pickup on a shovel and it would sound the same

Maybe but I think it would be a little thin and tiny sounding. 🤔 Thanks for the comment

Would love to see a comparison with clean and mid gain tones. And with classic Marshall crunch that a lot of people use Les Paul with to see if EC1000T can sound like that or not.

@kanwaljeetiitkgp I will get a video of cleanish tones made soon and post it. Thanks for the feedback

it depends on what you want. but for the ease of playing and metal riffage, I would go esp/ltd all day long. the Les Paul can do everything the EC can but its more sluggish.
thanks for the question and comment

@hangingdeadguy1 b4 I was planning to buy ec and then when I arrived at guitar center they dont have ec they said that on January 1st is the delivery of supplier. But it will be 5 months if I wait for it. Then I saw the studio and I bought it. But even today my conscience is eating me to buy ec1000. I don't know. So you mean studio is flexible and ec for metal only? I like to play metal also

@graves7601 the ec can do anything the Les Paul can do. It’s just more of a sports car. Feels easier to play than the Gibson. Both are great 👍🏼
