Must say, it is truly beautiful city..Each building has some awesome architecture, style, character, the streets little shops, restaurants, just joy. Renown for the fact that each historical period going back to about 8th Century or so has left something for us to admire.
Saying this not because i was born in this true gem of the world but because having lived over 45 years on another continent, I might fairly say that it IS simply amazing place to spend time there and spend some money as well.
Especially when you intentionally engage your eyes and look up and around.. Love that place and any time I am there.
I just walk and marvel ...not for nothing it was said loooong time ago

It is really beautiful! It should have been awesome if they get rid of the graffittis on the walls . I don’t know why they don’t erase it, it’s an eyesore.
