    You did a very good job filming so close-up.
    This is the first time I see so many Chinese deities were called up & gathered at one spot !
    It is always a very painful moment whenever the deity spirit starts its entrance into a live human body. That explains the intense body shaking & transformation in the trance-like medium.
    The spirit of the Goddess of Mercy, Kuan Yin, had entered the lady medium. The Lotus markings on the clothes they put on her clearly indicated that. You were right on that medium who had the spirit of the Monkey God, Tai Seng Ya. I could feel the intense "blessed" atmosphere of this gathering of the many deities, our Spiritual Guides, just watching this video of yours. Thank-you so much for sharing.

    When they are possessed by the deities, they cant feel anything and their soul is surrendered to the gods. Thus, every movement the body makes are controlled by the deities but not the original person.

      You don't refer religion to any race. There are taoist, buddhist, christian, catholic, muslim chinese too.
      If you are refering to Taoism, it has only one God, the Jade Emperor! The rest are deities, fairies, saints, angels, etc. The chinese somehow used one word 'shen' ( 神) to represent all of them, which in english is interpreted as Gods!

    The colourful rituals of Taoism is held in awe, yet a disciple of any religious persuasion must necessarily be held to some deeper divine revelation. Is it not true these rituals tell the stories of man and women who rose to great prominence out of what is worldly and mundane, so much so that they inspire a cultus of devotees? The Taoist movement must hold fast to the ethical and moral basics or it loses its spiritual identity in a fast changing world. Compassion and enlightenment are key. Not material well-being.

      @Alpha Kilowatt is it not true practitioners are motivated by spiritualism rather than the spiritual, 'utility' and not the philosophy? The Tao Te Ching was Laozi's quest and insight into the Way.

      Respect begets Respect. That the correct way for all humanity.

    • @Monkey341
      @Monkey341 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It was said they just possessed the human body. So, they don't fly or jump up the tree. They are not god (as in monotheistic religion) but deities. People always used the wrong word.

      I personally don't believe it , but it's been tradition for many years. Religion is just another belief . Believe hard enough and you'll think it's real . There's just things that you can never explain. However , I don't think there's a need to 'expose' or insult them. Just simply respect them and keep your words to yourself.
