- There's a glitch in the caravan system that allows you to get a lot more supply than intended from escorting other people's caravans. It's definitely a glitch but it makes it worthwhile to escort.

This is a game changer. You risk having yours die, but it’s worth doing as long as the caravan you join doesn’t glitch out and last 30 minutes.
it dies only if someone comes to it or it starts randomly in area people hang out already, which you can never predict, it can also cause two brahmin meet each other sometimes
Some ding dong always messes it up in public. With 2 buddies tho it's a good system

well if after 8 minutes or so it's not finished probably a glitch so you can switch to anoter one
These events count towards your 100+ scoreboard challenge. 100% worth doing even if you only get 1 supply.
darn, too bad I have not 100th level there yet (not of people liking running in westek for 10 hours and I have not even ultimate XP grind gear to it be worth time even with 2x XP event).. they likely fix/adjust this later or caravans will be just not used by anyone really as people unlock those three things they seek from whole thing anyway, do also just hexagon (teleport-payed, without (!)) events count? or only those with (!)

I like that enemies just come to you in open world and that it counts as an event. Needs to drop at least 1 module though like all other events now. Otherwise no one will do it even solo after getting plans.

The first time I tried this I came back to mirelurks surrounding my dead Brahmin.
Don't do this. Not worth it. Luckily it was my first run of the day so I only wasted 200 caps. Unfortunately, the group I joined in only got 5. The next one was bugged out.
With the caravans seemingly bugging out regularly, I definitely don't think it's worth the risk. It's just caps, but if you struggle getting caps; don't do this.
for me they work much better now somehow, i guess less people spamming them makes thing bit more stable or it is just by chance
it is worth if you launch caravan and go to one that is about to end and then to your but yes, you still gamble, one my also got killed but then I managed to run two before turning to my one, getting 60 supplies (50 and 10) from two and 50 from my one in about 10 minutes, so it isnt ultimate card to play but is worth trying at certain conditions (especially if you got group you can take to private server I guess)

I don't think this is glitching the way you think and it's tied to the unending run "bug".
When you look at all the potential routes, they all overlap. Basically, I think they're meant to merge when they encounter each other(you know, like a caravan does), but I don't think this is working as intended. Ideally, when 2 events merge like this, you would think there would be a second Brahmin and an extension to the timer(even if it's only partial), but that isn't actually happening. That first event is continuing to the next destination, encounters stop spawning, and if it merges with a 3rd, there's no hope of reaching the destination before the timer runs out.
Basically, we should be getting a bigger payout when we're working together and keeping the caravan going, getting a payout at the end of each route. People with an active caravan would get a full payout at each stop while the people just helping should be getting a small cut each time. Honestly, if this was working like this, it would be a pretty cool system.
This game is something else🤣🤣🤣it never ceases to amaze me how gloriously broken new updates consistently are to our benefit usually!
This is exactly the same as doing a goods run on Red Dead Online, where you get 50% of the value of the goods for a successful delivery and nothing if it fails. That is a much fairer way of dishing out the rewards than the current 10% nonsense

Am I the only that finds it crazy that people are calling other caravans worthless when you literally get 6000 XP everytime you complete them?!
They also count as a Public Event, so doing three of them gives you score above level 100 on the board. That's three events in less than 20 mins
What I'm saying I'm doing just as good as west tech in xp in better time. I'm enjoying it myself.

This is going to be great for me who often escorts caravans but rarely gets assistance with mine ( and sometimes fail)

I started setting a timer so I can estimate how close each caravan is or should be to finishing so I can just fast travel to the ones that’s close to ending and start my own. Also investing in Brahmin feeding helps so your own caravan survives meanwhile you are at someone else’s caravan
My Large got stuck in the loop... so for those 30 minutes I could join as many other caravans and get 50 supplies each time, regardless of their size. If you want to get smart, get a group of 4+ players on a private server, and then slowly stagger caravans by 5 minutes, then all keep jumping around to each other's (as a team) then as whomever's finishes, they start a new one and jump back to finishing other team mates' runs. Well timed, you can probably rake it 200 every few minutes.
Yeah, if you have a group of people you can coordinate with then you can optimize things to get even more supplies.

Typical Bethesda, patch something that benefits the player, but leave in other bugs like sensational game constantly crashing.
It works on PS. Started my caravan for 1000 or whatever then help other people and constantly make 50 supplies.
People should be doing them either way cause there public events and they count towards you weekly repeatable , gonna be easy to get to 150 scoreboard

I have jumped in and helped with a couple of Caravans, and I have noticed something. We've failed them all. The timer seems to run out, now I do not know if people are running this glitch at the time. But I know that every caravan I have joined after the starter one for the main quest has failed, and I am wondering if anyone else has run into this problem. I run a heavy weapons build mostly flamer, cremator, and other heavy guns, and use as little explosive AOE as possible.
Is the best " reward " from caravans that new V rifle? I heard its not that great of a weapon. If there are no actual good rewards from doing these escort quests then i'd rather not bother until they patch the bugs and impliment better rewards. 🧐
I skipped the grind and purchased the new laser carbine from a players vender for 4,000 caps🤯🫥🤣
The laser carbine is rubbish. That's why I haven't covered it.

they should make that making others caravans lowers cost of your one following, keeping small supply reward, so you got reason to launch own caravans but also reason to help with others, maybe getting some bigger reward for first one ran per day or something, I just hope at some point supplies will have some other use too.. it is another another currency in game.. we have countless of those, but once you level workers in milepost, I guess it is pointless to bother with feature at all, you can change looks of tunnel but.. well, you can.. you can change foods for brahmin but.. if you dont need to run more caravans, why do that even, item reward is rather low, two or so stimpacks and some ammo, it is great for some "kill specific things" challenges however, as fairly diverse things you can encounter in decent amounts (especially stuff as insects and canine, but also lost or more rare things as honey beasts, so I guess even once I will not need anything from milepost, I will start caravan sometimes, hoping I can get to creatures I need (none seems to be guaranteed which makes this less useful)
also I would ask, do you get full reward of 50 fir others big caravans if you launch just smaller ones? I know that if you do this and you run others small caravan, you still get just 10 even if you set out big one
and fact someone else can just run your caravan without you is so stupid I cant even think why is that, sure, people could block caravan "slots" by setting up and never running theirs but so they can block events by nukes and stuff.. then you should hop server or game should not let this blockage even be possible
even 50 supplies is quite low to be honest, it is running literally same thing over and over, it is running behind cow, shooting things or not if two people with damn bloodied fixers spam VATS on every critter around instantly (you cant even not invite people or invite just team, I wanted to hear jokes trick o treat bot got to say and those buttards always kill it too for no reason, it dont even speed things up), you get one "random" encounter which is either blockage, friendly robot you cant talk to, stranded caravan, none of those give any rewards additionally as far I seen, they only block "hurry" option on brahmin, then you get final wave and run to box, when joining caravans you either got to be lucky, or catch up with it or teleport to some payed location in front of it (indeed I seen very increased number of tents around route), it is quite fun to run to be honest, but not like 10 times per day, and sure, nothing forces you to run only once per day but also, desire for new things always will drive people towards grinding those things so they can unlock new rifle and plans and whatever, it is designed to take as much time as possible, or caps, 50 is fine reward but paying 1100 caps each to run three per day is quite price, I am glad caps do finally have some use out of getting pointlessly over-expensive plans you are missing from player vendors
i did enough to get the new gun. Is there a point in doing anymore? What do the other people and upgrades get you?
Think a good rule of thumb is to start one while another is active, join the other, then complete yours. Reason for this is caravans are getting bugged. You could waste ALOT of time on a bugged caravan. Of course if there are 2 and you start yours, hitting both if you can works out great. Just don't get too greedy or you might miss your caravan.
Yes, I usually start mine when there's already one or two going. That way I can help theirs, get the 50 supply, and do mine for another 50 supply. That way I help others and help myself.
It's impossible to do more than two escorts without doing yours anyway.
Do not do this it is very broken so wastes your caps and time...

Do you still need to start the quest before getting supplies from joining someone’s caravan? It’s hard to start quests since there’s always an event every 20mins lol
Yes, focus on doing the quest and all of Marley's requests. Once you can do large caravans you can start doing escorts.
I love the caravan deal. Only thing that sucks is I can't run large shipments. My game glitches out or bluescreens everytime. I can only do medium or small. Anyone else have this problem? Thank for the video!!
That's weird, I've heard of people having instability but I've not seen any crashes during my runs. If it works with small or medium sizes then it should work with large.

Devil's advocate but the caravan system would be too easy to farm if they bumped up rewards for escorts and you'd lose motivation to pay to start a carvan yourself. But they need to figure something out.
I wish I knew about that glitch I was trying to get that new weapon I know about that glitch going on it would have made things a lot easier it took me two days to save up enough for that weapon but I also thought it would take 500 of the currency whatever they're calling it I keep forgetting but instead upgrade the ammo merchant I only needed 250 so yeah I'm kind of aggravated I forget which one of the TH-camrs said it was going to take 500 whatever that new currency is called but I managed to get my new weapon and I love it got a god roll the first roll lol

If it's not in their inventory then you need to upgrade.
Someone always shows up to do your caravan though, they think they're helping.
That's alright, then you finish the escort you're doing and join yours to finish it. You're both helping each other.

Literally figured this out by accident and now people tryna get it patched this why i hate gaming now days people like ok i want views and this can get patched nice
It was well known already, if they were going to patch it, it was going to happen already.
One of my main points is that the increased reward, even if it's through a glitch, makes escorts worthwhile and Bethesda should increase the rewards for helping caravans.
I only did enough to get the gun, it's super boring.
I had a previously existing camp with a lot of turrets at one of the carvan start points which will defend the brahmin if i do this.
Make it harder and give me more. There’s no reason I should be able to finish a hard run, alone, without healing the Brahmin or myself.
Does everyone who helps get the 50 or only the first to the deposit box ?
It should be everybody but I've seen some people saying that it's been patched. But I haven't been able to check.
Anyone no why mutated events is now a week end thing and not a weekly thing
They weren't enabled but that got corrected today.
@@SequentialGamerFallout mutated events are classed as a weekend event now not a weekly event like before the patch
Where do you look in your inventory that tells you how much cargo you have collected? Does it disappear when you log out of the game?
Sorry, ignore the previous reply, wrong comment. You can see how many supplies you have under the status section, it's listed together with all the other currencies.
It's capped at 1000 supplies but you keep them until you spend them.
@@SequentialGamerFallout Thanks for the information, just one more question : I started a caravan but it wouldn't let me chose the size of the caravan. I assumed it was the biggest one and ran it alone. But when I got to the end, I only received 10 supplies. Am I missing something?
@@toothlessrick3970 You need to hire one employee, the cheapest is the brahmin trainer but any will do.

I’ve said this before, but I think people escorting other peoples’ caravans should get the full value if the Brahman and Owner survive, half value if the owner dies during the quest, and 5 caps on a failure. That way it encourages players to interact and adds an additional element of strategy. I’ve done escort quests before, but I can’t recall an escort quest where I was ever actively trying to protect a specific player (some of which have a death wish, in this game, because they’re running 10% health at all times).

Nah because i had someone finish mine an i only got 1, so i now farm in private with my 2 consoles
Yah, people have gotten wise to this. There's a bunch of griefers out there starting your caravan then teleporting to the one you are escorting. Your caravan dies, you lose your caps, and only get a few supplies from the escort you are working on. Happened to me 6 times in a row on different servers.
I've yet to intentionally start another's caravan, but accidentally have by just entering the area. Sorta wish they would make it where only the requester can start the caravan.
Please only do this on private worlds . If their not on your team and turn it in it steals the owners rewards. People are using this in public to basically scam every run anyone trys to do.

@@yussef961 Yeah, it seems you get the reward from the caravan you're escorting. Still a good idea for everybody to do large caravans so everybody gets 50 supply.
Or u can just join otheres make sure u put the loot in the box an u get full

I'm not given any option for caravan size. It goes immediately to start, no options, no caps surrendered. 10 supplies a pop.
You need to hire the tamer to do higher-cap runs.
Did you hire the brahmin trainer? That opens up larger caravans.

Yeah, but the trainer is by far the easiest and best option IMHO. It's the cheapest one and makes it easier to do harder caravans and get more supply.
20min? lol more like 5mins, also the 6k exp+ i usually get 1 or 2 legendaries from mobs and it counts as event so you get easy scoreboard exp

Just buy the cheapest caravan and farm other ppl 1200 caps caravans
To any players wanting to solo the event, I’d suggest running Power Armor builds with Friendly Fire to help keep the Brahmin healed up when it starts taking to much damage.
It’s not that hard of an event, but it’s always a gamble depending which creatures decided to attack the caravan. If it’s a Deathclaw or Yao Guai, make sure you bring something that wipes them out fast.

Doesnt your keeping your brahmin alive clog up an available lane of play? Might be something worth taking advantage of but if a lot of people are trying to run caravans and everyone's trying to use the glitch, I feel like you're denying people the opportunity to play.
Not sure if this is true. Maybe someone can confirm? I’ve been on servers where there were 5 caravans running at a time and never had any problem starting mine.
I have a theory that these caravan events are supposed to merge when they overlap, but that's the thing that isn't working properly.
Do not take it rudely - but just jump servers. Now you may have your opportunity to play.
