hi
How are you
As a Bears fan I’m rooting for Claypool to turn it around in Miami.
And I also don’t think Hill is gonna take no half-assin’ receivers in his room.
Facts
claypool wont be there long. he is the epitome of million dollar talent and a ten cent brain.
Exactly, he was WR1 for you guys and he came over due to leadership issues. Without a true leader he was allowed to stew in himself. The WR room in Miami won't allow a poor work ethic. I always root for the bears as my second team.
It’s not only about talent. That’s why every player is in the NFL. Some sort of talent had them drafted, signed etc…
Heart and personality is what makes a person great. Dude is full of himself. Plenty of ppl like that in this world. Talent or not - successful or not
According to Andrew Hawkins he just come to Cleveland were the receivers coach was Mike McDaniel. Andrew Hawkins stated that flip whatever you know about football on it's head. Andrew Hawkins was blown away by Mike McDaniel as a receivers coach and stated that he one of the best in business.
I can't remember for sure who said it, either Parcells or Bellichick, but whoever it was, the quote went "Talent sets the floor, character sets the ceiling". Tom Brady is a great example of that imo. While dude obviously had some talent, he was never the biggest, most athletic guy and didn't have the strongest arm, yet a lot of people consider him the greatest quarterback in history.
The Bears are better off trading him off. Trust me, you'd be surprised at how morale and camaraderie instantly form around a team or unit when the person with the bad attitude is removed. And for Chase, here's a free pearl of wisdom for you:
10 Things that require ZERO talent:
1. Showing up on time
2. Work Ethic
3. Effort
4. Body Language
5. Energy
6. Attitude
7. Passion
8. Being coachable
9. Doing extra
10. Being prepared
Have seen so many ppl make it to d2 or even d1 just following these 10 rules to a T
Absolutely.... dude I see and feel it at work when certain people are off and or arent in the way
See that top ten in many break rooms in industry and other workplaces. Someone should have copyrighted that.
If you look at his previous comments in interviews, Claypool was telling everyone he wanted to go to Miami. I think he will take advantage of the opportunity and be a nice weapon in the offense.
If Claypool put out an honest list of his preferred career choices, number one would almost certainly be social media influencer, and NFL WR might not even crack his top ten.
Burn of the month
What a weird thing to say about a complete stranger. Get a life dude
@@mitchbrown6652 Your comment is what's odd. Do you just not know anything about Claypool?
@@mitchbrown6652 I just realized you're probably a bot powered by Chat-GPT. It seems like the most likely scenario, much more likely than your absurd comment being made but a genuine living human being. Y'all are doing better with the AI, but this one's a bit of a dud.
@@mitchbrown6652you too man 😂
Many teams need a receiver they traded him to the dolphins lmao
Would you really want him as your wr
Patriots need him 4sho
@@Ogoseauxhell nah we’ll pass
True
The bears will always be the bears…they have the top two picks in this years draft and I’m confident they’ll fornicate everything up. The city needs to rise from the ashes again, since it’s burning.
Claypool has three huge faults 1. He worries more about his brand on TicTok than football 2. He's lazy and won't block, as they say "Making business decisions" 3. He has no YAC ability. ( See DJ Moore ) Even if by some miracle he somehow manages to catch the ball he won't stay on his feet he will immediately fall down as if being pulled to the center of the earth. Can all these issues be changed by strong leadership in the Dolphins locker room? I don't think so.
Welcome Chase to a winning team!!! speed speed speed ! go Fins
If chase doesn’t do good in Miami. I hate to say it but his career is gonna be over.
Maybe but maybe not. Bellichik is good at fixing broken players.
@@thadtheman3751our offense is the most perfect offense for him lmao if he doesn't do good here nobody fixing him 😂
Kmsl @thadtheman3751 you have to be fcking shitten me bellichick is gone after this year guys old as fuck and stuck in his stubborn as ways and the patriots haven’t done shit and won’t be shit since brady left and as long as bill is the head coach they’ll never be relevant again 😂
No, I can see him working in Seattle, if he quit he Social Media addiction, he would be amazing in Baltimore or Tennessee.
Mike thank you for the updates and your take on things. Been a longtime sub and I appreciate the dedication you have to your fans and your channel. Keep up the good work my guy
Chase C. is really talented and not many cornerbacks can stop him one on one b/c of his size. I hope the Dolphins' coaching staff and his new teammates can get his head back to where it should be.
"No cornerback can handle him" 😂😂😂😂
I love this trade. It's low risk, keeps Claypool away from other AFC teams that need WR help. And it gives Mike McD yet another freakishly talented athlete. He will find a way to work him in. Hell, he found a way to get Robbie Chosen a 60yard bomb from the backup QB.
If it doesn't work out, oh well. Nothing of value is lost.
Of all the coaches in the league that could resurrect Chase's career, McDaniel's that coach. This was definitely a McDaniel decision. That dude loves taking projects that have raw talent and show the world he can unlock it.
Maybe that raw talent should be on the oline or defense 😂
It’s a great low risk move for Miami in case they like his potential and can’t afford to keep Waddle and Hill
Hill is retiring after next year with miami. Waddle hasnt really impressed me much
@@danpilarski7910 Waddle is worth 10 times what Claypool is
@danpilarski7910 did hill say that?
@@accountname9872he said he would retire at the end of his contract
@@danpilarski7910 where'd you hear that?
Mike Tomlin is a better evaluator of talent than anyone we have had in Chicago - ever. I was excited when I heard about this trade, but the fact Tomlin wanted to kick him to the curb should have been a red flag.
It wasn’t really kicking to the curb they traded him at his highest possible value
steelers are good at gettin g ride of peope who ruin the culture ab with the locker room juju and tik toking etc we can draft them but they get to big headed

Cheetah gonna put him in check and the miami weather gonna have him happy😂
Love your video Mike and keep up the great work
They needed a big body tight end type of player and they got one. This offense is about to be unstoppable bro.
he doesnt block
@@jamesgreene6718he doesn’t have to. He will be a TD machine
I think you missed what he’s truly done. HE KNEW THE BEARS ARE A STRUGGLING TEAM. He’s forced a trade to go to another team and landed on a good team. He gambled and won. Claypool is about to blow up as a 3rd WR. He’ll have another successful year on pace with his previous seasons. He didn’t want to be a Bear. Sit and watch.
Dude has everything but desire and heart for football. Crazy. He should be dominating but, he is afraid to hit and be hit. That's the essence of football though, and what I still miss at 62. LOL. With hsi size, he can hit, too.
He’ll play better in MIA if he has any competitive edge at all- he will step up… I also think bc there won’t be any expectations of him and he can come in as a 3rd option he may be able to eat running underneath routes. We shall see though.
Not gonna sit well with his ego. Remember he believes he’s a top 3 WR in the entire league.
@@TruBuMThere are two guys on the roster already that will show him that is a "best case" scenario, if he steps up.
U can't change a leopard's spots, ego will ruin a person everytime
@bondalemecovillage6738, that is simply not true. You nor me are all of the negatives we use to be. Some... I repeat, "some" people can and do change (grow). Facts. I know of drug addicted ex-cons who reformed and became great parents and citizens. Let's just see if the young man can learn from this and go catch some balls.
This was actually a good trade in case waddle gets more money somewhere else. Now dolphins will have tyreek & claypool(if he matures). Speed & size.

This might be Claypools last chance in the nfl should he put in more 'low effort' footfall. It would be a shame sense is does have the tools needed to be one of the better WR in the nfl if he applies himself.
You know BB will kick tires on him if that happens = patriot way lol
@@Chris-fl5lwkick some tires on em 😂😂
It’s the Chicago Bears period. Not Claypool! The Coaching, the Offensive Line.
He’s Canadian, football just isnt in their dna lol. You really can’t name any great players out of Canada. I have hope for Sydney Brown though.
@@koden24 Well it's not just the bears he had issues with. Could argue the Steelers have many of the same problems i suppose. My point still stands though. If he can't succeed in Miami his 3rd team the problem is almost definitely him.
Already has a video out on this, this man deserves a award
Great move Miami had some injuries at wr this could be great especially if waddle gets hurt again or hill
I think it's a huge steal for Miami. If it works out, great, if it doesn't, so what? Also while Miami has a stacked WR room, they do lack that big tall physical guy you can just throw it up to in redzone situations, which is where I forsee Chase getting his spots to shine.
This is the biggest thing, all Our receivers are like sub 6 feet. A big target would be amazing in the red zone.
For Miami if he pans out. They have easily the best receiving core in the league. Waddle and Hill are both wide receiver ones imo. Claypool should be if he gets his shit together.
Lets see how he does with the Fins. That situation in Chicago is more than just Claypool. The coaching staff and front office are not functioning well.
In Miami along with Mike McDaniels they have a lot of tremendous veterans like Tyrek Hill, Tua, Christian Willikins, Braxton Beriis, Mosert. etc. that can keep him focused and make maturity the name of the game.
Claypool will also be excited to be in an offense that will expose him to receiving a lot of receptions with hard work.0
Now that I have had a chance to watch Claypool's tape, this is an intriguing trade for a reason no one is discussing - HC Mike McDaniel and GM Chris Grier drafted three big and fast WRs (Ezukanma, Conner and Higgins) in a so far unsuccessful attempt to develop a hybrid WR/TE who can block. Claypool demonstrated that skill set in his rookie year @PIT. Let's see what McDaniel & Co. can do with him.
Practice Squad material until he is direly needed
McD in Miami is still looking for that Deebo Samuel type player. He draft Elijiah Higgins late in this years draft a big bodied type WR that can run but that didn't work out . Remember Mike McDaniel had a hand in drawing up these run plays for Deebo. I think McDaniel my have the player he's been looking for that role IF Claypool can keep his off field problems in check. And if Claypool does. McD is gonna have some plays designed for him each game. And he's not being asked to come in and be the #1 or even the #2.
I wanted Green Bay to go for it because it's such a low-risk move. I imagine McDaniels is confident that he can do a better job with Claypool than the Bears. As for Tomlin giving up on Claypool, that is somewhat damning, but Tomlin hasn't given up on Canada, so maybe his judgement isn't the end-all, be-all. I think it was a really good move for Miami, he might be WR 6 right now, but I think he has the potential to be WR 3 if McDaniels and Claypool can make it happen together
Dolphins fan here... He will see the field, as the Dolphins don't play Ced Wilson much... and there other two rotational receivers just recently were placed on IR. That's actually why the Dolphins made this move... low risk, high reward possibility. But they practice extremely hard.. Tyreek and Jaylen aren't going to accept anything less. Mike said you come in with a clean slate, and we are going to give you every chance to rewrite your narrative.. it's really up to Chase to show what he's all about. Is he going to prove that the narrative is wrong or right? Time will tell...
well said. he better block or he wont see the field
He’s in by far the best situation of his career. I know people like to crap on Claypool, but keep in mind, the only time he’s ever had strong QB play was the first half of his rookie year (before Big Ben dropped off a cliff).
He might be a little immature, but compared to the character concerns many other NFL players have, being a little high on one self is nothing. It’s not like he’s a gang banging thug who beats his girlfriend or gets accused of womanizing.
Also, regardless of your personal opinion on the guy, you can’t deny the fact that his measurables are insanely rare and elite… Miami got a high reward, low risk deal with this trade. First time Claypool has ever really had a QB upgrade in his career, let’s see how he does with this opportunity.
Ben dropped off a cliff because of Canada .Claypool was absolutely correct about Canada and Tomlin should ask for forgiveness for not dumping Canada ages ago
As a Dolphins fan, if he is ready to work we'll use him, but not sure how. Cracraft is even ahead of him, and even Craft doesnt get a lot of looks. Claypool may have to be slotted in a different/ dual roles. Regardless, he needs some structure and tough love, I just dont know if he'll learn from this. Only time will tell if he wants a championship and future in the league bad enough
No reason why he shouldn’t be able to pass Cracraft and Anderson on the depth chart, neither one is anything special.
Cracraft has a shoulder injury.
Nice WORK
Getting rid of him and being unable to salvage the situation is entirely on coaching and management. Unless he was absolutely unwilling to work with them, which may be the case.
We need Claypool for his size! Go Phins!!
Thats what I thought as a Bears fan, the guy just never gave an effort. Maybe he will turn it around?
@@cpprbusa9470 Bears are my number 2 team and I just don’t think Chicago had the right personnel for him to succeed. This seems to be his last chance to make it in the NFL or MIA will be his last stop if the boy just can’t get right. I hope he proves everybody wrong and is a beast on the field. If he doesn’t get his act right though he could very easily end up in the XFL or USFL if he could find a team willing to put up with his problems if the continue.
Omg....when news of him getting pushed out by Chicago happened I was like, how much you wanna bet Miami goes and gets him. What a horrible decision. This guy is toxic.
He may end up on the practice squad if he doesn’t change quickly.
Best of luck to the young man. When you're use to winning, losing can be tough. Maybe the culture in Miami can help him mentally. 🙏
Idk if this dude is capable of shining while being guarded by the top guy or two on defense. With him on Miami, he will be WR3 at the very best, but will likely struggle for snaps this year. With a good mindset and attitude towards the situation, while also being on a Super Bowl caliber offense, and he was pretty much free? I think this could play out great, or he could be cut by December. I’m happy regardless, been a fins fan for too damn long, our d will get better and we will get some playoff wins.
"I can fix him"
🤣🤣🤣
Reminds me of Kenny Britt when the Titans drafted him.
Sucks as a bears fan that we couldn’t make it work with Claypool he has the talent to help us in the WR room but oh well… ☹️ but good luck to Claypool on his new team in the Dolphins. 🫡🙏🏽 #BEARDOWN❗️❗️❗️🐻⬇️💙🧡
Im sure you guys are gonna be better off honestly
This feels like it was written by an AI or a politician…
@@Jack958 it wasn’t I typed this up myself lmao
@@arnettthayer5314 yeah I can agree with that because ngl I feel like we tried to hard to make the Claypool addition work that we forced that ball or tried to force the ball to him when it clearly wasn’t working plus his effort was too iffy
They got him to see if they could have select packages to run him at TE. I see that this could work but his work ethic may also be a reason it would be impossible.
Success isn’t just personal in a team sport. If he’s on a team that’s winning and going somewhere vs being on the Bears with Fields could make a difference. We’ll see. A 6th or 7th round pick is easily worth the chance.
Robbie Chosen Anderson looks like Hingle McGringleberry...
God bless you guys
Great video! This guy reminds me of Michael Beasley (Miami Heat 2nd pick overall). These guys dominated so much due to natural talent and then get to the or level where they’re suddenly mediocre at best. It’s nothing to do with physical tools, it’s all about what’s in between their ears.
Fields showing improvement is not occasional. Being tolerant to Provocative personalities takes a ridiculous amount of energy from a system or a person.
Damn they straight up gave him away 😂😂😂
Is there a chance if you could a video on the bears 1 and 2 picks in the draft and what they should do it with it?
If Caleb Williams and Shedeur Sanders go back to college for another year is there really a QB worth taking that is really gonna move the needle.
I went to elementary school with Chase Claypool in grade 1, his attitude problems have always been apparent.
🤣
I fought with him in daycare for bubble gum. Hes stingy too lmao dude u cant be serious fn 1st grade really are u kidding me 🤦🏿♂️🤦♂️🤦🏻🤦🏽🤦🏻♂️
I was in the maternity ward with him. All he did was pee on the nurses and cry all the time. Can't stand him to this day.
He is really a TE! I saw him come out backward and from the wrong end.
Miami will be a good place for him.
Now that he is traded he's gonna tell everybody his truth. He's gonna say that it's useless to run hard on a route for Fields when he's not going to see you anyway! Getting lazy and not blocking will be another story i'm guessing.
Yeah, trading the 32nd pick for this guy was a bad move... but the Aaron Rodgers trade makes this one look pretty smart.
Hey mike When are you going to make a video about? CJ. Go Texans 🤘
I'm so interested in the kid, he's pretty inpressive
They lost so probably not
11 mins in and i still dunno why Chase Claypool's Trade To The Miami Dolphins Is Not What I Think.....
DJ Moore was on fire Thursday night 🔥
I get it's exciting and you get an adrenaline rush when you catch a pass to move the chains, but I hate how a lot of wr HAVE to do some sort of boast or signal a first down...
Claypool's was egregiously bad since the game was on the line and it hurt his team.
I love creative celebrations but wait till the end zone or after an insane catch or something, not EVERY SINGLE catch...
If the Steelers throw out trash..please don't wade through it,whipe it down, give it a million dollars and act like the Steelers are fools..
It's the steelers..they know wrs..and then know when to dump the trash
Noti gang 🫡🫡
Just imagine fields in that San Francisco offence
He is fast and has size. I see him being used to block on deebo samuel type plays from hill of running the plays himself
Had to laugh at the title of this. No, it's pretty much exactly what we thought. No surprises here.
I don't blame Poles either. It was a risk that could have had a lot of upside but it didn't pan out. If Claypool had a good attitude he could have made a big (good) difference with the Bears. Now he's with a good team, but at the bottom of the depth chart and probably won't see much, if any, playing time.
Man the dolphins need a receiver this bad 😂
8:35 is when he finally stops repeating old videos and talks about the topic of this video
Might be bad for the locker room Bears won big after letting him go
Just feels like McDaniels has something up his sleeves.. I could see them utilize him as a TE
That would require blocking and you don't want to count on that from Claypool he gives a 2/10 effort on blocking plays.
You dressing all snazzy and businesslike these days... ya feelin yourself lol Good for you
Top 5... no 1000 yard seasons? I'm confused.
There's a saying about this, 1 bad apple ruins the bunch.
Fans in Chicago don't like the trade of Roquain Smith; Edmonds haven't been that good. Poles didn't do his homework on Chase and he gave up way too much. That guy didn't even play much during training camp and he had soft tissue injuries during the offseason.
Redzone is where speed doesn't help as much. But height??? Yeah. Expect McDaniels to design some plays for that.
Really as a bear fan I'm lmao if you guys really think you guys got a receiver gl 😂😂😂
I mean you said the list those are all slot WR if he gets right he can become a solid starter as a WO threat with Jalen and cheetah
That's escatly what I thought tho Mike....
Yoy will def see him in the field when i play madden, its over now.
I would have to agree with you that claypool probably won't see a gm and if he does it won't be a significant role I could be wrong but the ones that crack me up is the guys in fantasy swooping him up like he is going to be relivent smh barring a big inj or some kind of miracle I just can't see it alot of competition and between Tyreek Jaylon and the RBs there's not even a few crumbs left lol
"Mapletron" 💀
Been thinking about how Chase could fit on the team & the only logical position I could see him in is a H back type of role. There have been reports of him playing TE but I just don’t see it. If he is a willing blocker and has a good attitude about it he could be an X factor. Also he would be WR 3 just off of upside.
If antone can get the skill set to produce it would be Mike McDaniel
Only way Chase gets any snaps with the Dolphins this year is for one of their wide receivers gets injured. But I don't see him being on the field. Once you gain a reputation of laziness, it's almost impossible to shake that off.
It takes a lot to get the lazy, self centered monkey of ur back. Why deal with the risk of toxic waste?
I see it's only a 6th but I don't see why . He may get few reps till Cracraft comes back. He is better option for depth over Chosen because of age ,but I will keep Chosen for the mentor roll . I d rather young guys see Chosen carry himself .
Watching that footage of him, he genuinely doesn’t look like a WR, because he simply doesn’t move like one. His fake movements on rout are pedestrian. He does look like an offensive TE with his vertical stretch. As for his character, he clearly needs to improve his attitude & behaviours. That’s something I could help him with.
I have to be honest, a few years ago Claypool was my favorite offensive Steeler. I noticed there was alot of talk around Pittsburgh sites about his off-field stuff which sounded like a headache. I wasn't totally shocked when the Steelers traded him. I have tried to stay updated with him since and its been really bad! I hope this trade helps him revive his career. Because seriously wtf happened Mapletron!?
what did the sites say about him
@sebas_ce they were trying to link his being on social media to him not taking the NFL serious as a career. They did the same thing to Juju right before he was traded.
No real risk, at worst a one year rental, at best added depth. It’s no question kids got talent just won’t commit 110% to become a top receiver. With the right coaching and teammates he might reach his potential. Sad he’s wasted the last couple years thinking he was good enough instead of striving to be the best. Look at Justin Jefferson- he’s not the most talented, the fastest receiver out there but he’s a student of the game and he’s absolutely the best route runner. He continually strives to get better which has made him the best receiver in the game right now and if he stays healthy possibly one of the best ever.
the king kupp is back
Is there anything else you all don't like about Chase? Chase is too honest in his comments about things and the Bears and Chicago didn't like that about him. Both teams didn't want him to succeed and made sure he didn't.
It’s a good move. You never know when WR1 will end up in jail or suspended for another round of domestic violence and/or child abuse.
I really think Miami might use this guy more then people think, but there is no sign that he is going to mature and grow up, but McDaniel down in Miami has created this culture of accountability in the locker room with their players which might help him. Who knows, but he has an opportunity now if he does not squander it.
He should switch to tight end if he can get his blocking up to par, but this is his last gasp.
Love seeing those cheerleaders in the beginning of video
He might have been better off in Chicago but hopefully it works out in Miami. Maybe McDaniel can make it work.
Pittsburgh really fleeced the Bears in the Claypool trade 😂
McDaniel going offense and Shanahan going defense. Yin and Yang those two are polar opposites at the core for building an NFL team.
eberflus doing his best to not completely obliterate claypools trade value after making him inactive 2 weeks in a row...
Hi mike
