Hello Santosh, I am working on a project to develop a new EHR for Doctors and trying to make it free for all doctors. Our moto is "If it is not affordable it is not a solution". I will let you know once we have the tool ready, we are making it HIPAA compliant as well as we are integrating AI based tools into it for better results with a Patient portal for easy appointment and maintaining Medical records. I need suggestions as this is a project that concentrates on proper care and avoid any kind of unethical practices happening in medical field by patients and by doctors too. Any input will be helpful and precious for us. do let us know any other missing things that we can integrate or work on to address Indian market and make sure everyone has a transparent healthcare.

If you don't mind, let me share my knowledge regarding 'recoupment'. It is the amount that an insurance recovered for a particular claim that was not supposed to be paid but it was paid unknowingly or wrongly or accidentally. in other words, the claim was supposed to be denied but they paid for it. After auditing, the insurance realised that they had paid for that claim that was not supposed to be paid. So they just recoup the amount for that claim later. This is what recoupment is all about. It's slightly different from the term offset. I apologise if I were mistaken regarding 'recoupment'.
