  • An Electronic Medical Records (EMR) contains the standard medical and clinical data gathered in one healthcare provider’s office or hospital. An EMR is more beneficial than paper records because it allows providers to: track data over time, identify patients who are due for preventive visits and screenings, monitor how patients measure up to certain parameters, and improve overall quality of care in a
    practice.
In this talk, Dr. Anjali Bhatt talks about “Electronic Medical Records In Practice Management”.

Thanks Dr for info. EMR is Money for private hospitals. The citizens must have an App where they can scan their hardcopy of medical records n upload digitally n store with user id n password. It must b 100% controlled by people n citizens n not lobbied / owned by private hospitals

Hi Ashish, success of EHR in India needs increased funding from the private sector, the government, and other collaborations. Also, in depth knowledge and awareness of HER, its adoption in India, overcoming policy gaps, infrastructure barriers, financial barriers, and other obstacles would be required to address the gaps.
