so many lunar items are slept on. Brittle crown, corpsebloom, transcendence.
1 corpsebloom will fix nearly all your healing problems. 2 however will create entirely new problems
I know they're powerful, I sleep on them because I feel like I am cheating when I pick them up lol
nobody is sleeping on transcendence. that item negates 3 eclipse levels (e1, e3, and e5) and lowers the effects of e8 a bit

This item would be 100x more consistent if the iten tokens carried over stages. Knowing the update so far it was probably an oversight that it doesnt

I hope they rebalance antler shields to make them worthwhile. I’d make it so they give you a little armor, and then they deal damage based on the amount of damage _reduced_ by armor and RAP stacks, so it gets stronger the tankier you are. I’d also just make it trigger 100% instead of 50% + 5% per stack. The benefit of stacks would be increasing your armor as well as the multiplier for the outgoing damage.
It would read like: “Gain 5 armor per stack and deal 100% + 50% per stack of the damage negated by armor to enemies that damage you.”
It’d be even better if it reflected all damage negation, including opals and both bears, but that might be overkill. Of course the specific numbers would require adjustment for balance too, but this seems like a good idea to me. Though I worry it might be a bit too weak early on, that kinda puts it in line with other items already in the game that only really get strong with big stacks. It also has some synergy with other armor items, making them better too.

As someone who doomscrolls the reddit and sees a lot of terrible/okay concepts for item reworks, this is probably the absolute best Antler Shield proposal I've seen so far, for the only SotS white I haven't had a good use case for. Currently it has a negative synergy with defense (and all the very standard stat buffs I've seen proposed elsewhere fail to address that) but this completely flips it, and making something like Jade Elephant relevant is hilarious.
The numbers as you mention them here might actually be underpowered. Keep in mind bosses have 4-5 digits of health compared to 3 digits from players during the first loop, and in the majority of runs you are taking way more damage than you are negating with armor or repulsion armor plate. Also, the fodder enemies those numbers would be more meaningful against are the ones you tend to not get hit by the most (as well as the first ones to be Elite, thus benefitting from the affix's base stat boost earlier and more commonly).
i think that's not a bad idea. they definitely need to rebalance antler shields as they are now. more armor and way better percentages would be a good start if they decided not to rework it entirely.
@@pbToast03 I feel like they should just jack up the proc ratio and that'd be sufficient. There a couple of interactions that I think would redeem the item if it's proc ratio was higher than average.
What if it had a 100% +30% stack to proc so it just reflects the dmg multiple times when stacked

literally gave this item a chance from stage 1 after your tier list video, stage 4, 12 levels below you, no damage, no chest, no exp, no gold.... idk whats different about yours, aside from insanely good items for the few you get, but still no idea where all those extra levels come from
he got rly lucky with a ghors tome, this item tends to fall off on later stages without other items that give money so its best to use thee first cleansing pool you see.
Same, maybe if you go through lunar portal and you find it with brittle crown and you already have ghors. It’s not S Tier by any means and. It’s situational like most Lunar

Why take void bands? Even with Blast Shower, the damage is way worse.
Bands suck butt on mando, grouping up all the enemies is way better than making one frag grenade do more damage every 10 seconds
if you think about it there is like a 90% that clense thing spawns. And when this item doesnt pay if anymore you can clense it probably im not sure tho

I think that what you haven’t considered with Chronic expansion is that it’s never going to help you in the early game. period. because it’ll never be active for long. In the endgame you’re likely mowing through things to the point where spawns will slow down and you’ll lose the buff. In the mid game you have a mix of those issues. It only helps you when you’re actively struggling to kill things. Even when you were trying to show off how easily it sticks around, it was turning off most of the time when you would expect it to be active until it was a god run either way. It’s probably like a high C tier.
Also you kinda proved that antler shield has no value in this video. It did absolutely nothing for you. I agree with the rest of your tier list but these two are really not good.
brother... i showed in both videos how you can stay in combat using the chronic expansion so you can farm as much damage as you need. the only time it turned off was because of a weird ass bug.
