I was looking for a video for this Card Game a while back, now this video has got me even more interested because before I was only partly interest and now I am excited!
It's great to see that they planned for the future with the box. It's always nice to not have to haul around a lot of boxes when you pick up expansions.
I must say this was a very informative vídeo. I loved how the deck "levels up" with better cards as a way of representing traditional RPG character growth. Keep up the good work
Great job with the interview Rodney. No offense to Mike but had you not been there I dont know how interesting he would have been. You steered that interview down an interesting road.
Another big bonus to a card based game is that sometimes, you don't have enough people to play a full setting RPG like Pathfinder. There have been many times that my friends were available and I wasn't, and the other way around. As such, we might only have a group of three to play, and with one person as DM, it doesn't allow for a full party. This way, less people can play. It makes sense. I am currently working on a similar system with this exact logic. Stay tuned!
This looks like a much better fit for me than the D&D® Adventure System Cooperative Play board games that I have! This game satisfies interactions between my character and the game. The management looks fun!
Just got one myself today and played. It comes with the blue dice that are in the video. I had a spell that I used frequently that did +2d4 and there's only 1d4 in the box. You won't NEED more... but unless you want to re-roll the die to complete a single roll, you'll want to get another 1-2 sets of dice.
Looks great been waiting along time for a d&d/pf rpg card game I'm sold already thanks for the preview and imagine the expansions they could produce instead of books its cards thanks again
Great video! I love RPGs but sadly my gaming group dissolved several years ago, so I tend to look for games with a strong solo element and this game looks like it will a lot of fun.

Hi Rodney, so did you finish the Adventure Path? And how many characters was your party? And specifically which ones? I'm trying to come up with 3 pairs that are decent combinations.
I like the idea of Pathfinder, but when I tried to get into it, I thought the rules were too focused on spatial maneuvers and positioning, and not focused enough on the actual role play - it was an RPG broken up with chunks of skirmish gaming - I've since moved on to Edge of the Empire, which is much more adventure storytelling like I remember D&D being when I was a kid. I like the looks of this though. The card system looks like it balances the combat and campaigning of PF much more smoothly.
one thing im unsure about is CHECK TO DEFEAT (no specific check) If I'm using Seoni the mage, what do I use to fight the beast if I don't have a spell? and don't use her 'power to discard to make an arcane' test? Basically what Im asking is, if it says check to defeat X bane...and I dont have an appropriate card that allows me to use X best skill, what roll do I make 'vanilla' wise to defeat X Bane?

We did finish the Adventure Path. We used the Wizard and the Warrior (their names are slipping my memory right now).
