Hi Fiona,well you certainly had an eventful weekend,but you got through it all with a smile.I can't believe that Hugo is one!! Where has the time gone?? I love it that he got a cake and pressies bless him. People have had street parties and there's enough bunting up round here to stretch to Buckingham Palace! We haven't done anything I think that the Queen is brilliant bless her.....some of her family....not so much.Its nice to see people having a good time though. I know what you mean about the 'super smart motorways.What a farce,we take one of my sons to a gym thats a drive away from us. They've felled trees which they planted not long ago,and I hate trees being cut down.Its ridiculous! I hope your dad is ok,and that his friend will recover well,not a nice end to their trip.Thank you for taking us to Canicrossits been brilliant.Take care love and hugs.xxxx

There have apparently been more accidents than ever on the 'smart' motorways, and of course the damage to trees and wildlife as you say. My dad is ok now but his friend had to go back into hospital fir an op on his ankle. Take care and have a good weekend when it comes x

What a start for you all forgetting the batteries and then the cost of the petrol on the top of it. So sorry to hear about your dads friend and such a trauma for your dad as well. It will have shook him up. Hollie does what Hugo was doing playing with the treat before eating it. We used to love listening to the rain on the caravan roof as well. Yes it certainly was an expensive weekend between fuel and batteries lol. We did enjoy it though. It was so funny to see Hugo doing that as he's never done it before. My dad did get a fright but he's OK now, and his friend needed an operation on his ankle. It's great listening to the rain until you realise you need to go out in it haha. It's a shame you couldn't borrow a loan of a battery from someone else on the caravan site there wasn't much sign of any street parties in our area a couple of houses along from us had union jack bunting out we don't even know who our neighbours are never mind arranging a street party the couple opposite moved in last October and we still don't even know their names we asked the couple next door to them but they don't even know the names or anything about them either years ago we used to know everyone in the street even the supermarkets didn't have much jubilee items my mum didn't want anything to start with then the day before the jubilee she said we should have got one of the jubilee afternoon tea boxes from the corner cafe in Falkirk at £25 but by that time it was too late to get one I did buy scones out Asda but I couldn't get clotted cream anywhere so mum had to make do with butter glad you had a great time despite the low power sorry to hear about your dad's friend accident hope his leg is ok happy 1st birthday to Hugo 🍗🥩🐶🐕🐾🐾sorry I couldn't find a cw emoji he is putting his scent on his pig's ear incase some of the others steal it Rocky's birthday is new year's Day so we just hold a couple of his Christmas presents back till his birthday our strathcarron hospice shop is currently doing 10 dvds for a £1 which is quite a good bargain we normally do 3 dvds for a £1 well done to jack and Brooke hope they manage to get their prizes sent to them
