Dragonsplague is a funny thing because I think most people don't even try to understand what it is meant to be. Think of DD1. Pawns are human with no will, Humans are pawn with will, a Human with a greater will might become Arisen when put against the Dragon, an Arisen that understands its willpower can become the Seneschal - those who loose or don't understand it at the end become Dragons. Being Dragonsplagued is probably having will of its own but not understanding it - after all, our pawn manages to control its Dragon form after understanding that he's no mere husk, rather somone with a lesser will.
It reminds me of a quote from blood meridian: “We are dealing with a people manifestly incapable of governing themselves. And do you know what happens with people who cannot govern themselves? That's right. Others come in to govern for them.” I think dragonsplague, arisen and pawns is pointing out that the greater will and ability to govern ones self holds the power to shape the world around you. This is a theme in mythology. A conquerors will can reshape the world, and slaying the serpent allows for a “throne” to be claimed.
Throughout the whole plague thing and this ending cutscene it seems like the pawn is struggling with having a free will. It recoils and sways between a servant and a living being, not being able to comprehend their new nature and not being able to stay the way they were thus resulting in disobedience and later - "madness". In my understanding they "find themsevles" again and become a person from the ground up. And so the lines with regular affinity make them sound as having enough will to equal an Arisen, as though they are not a master and a slave but comrades. After all they DID understand everything themselves. Their tone is respectful yet commanding, they may not be on the same level of power but they know themselves much more than their Arisen does, therefore in this very moment it is the Pawn who's command the Arisen has to follow. Just like in DD1 a player and their pawn learn how to work in full harmony during the gameplay process throughout the entire game until it feels like they've become a single being. So the Pawn gives the command yelling "Master!" and with no explanations the Arisen understands. The higher affinity tells the same in a more emotional way but makes it feel very different. The Pawn is not full of "Let's do this" energy, they sound less joyful and clearly tells that this is the end for them. My view on the matter may be affected by my love for "show, don't tell" stuff but i really enjoyed the regular lines way more than these. Sometimes less is better i guess. The Arisen and the Pawn becoming one both in gameplay and story, In both DD1 and now DD2. They really did release the same game after 12 years but made it better huh?😄
@@dvdivine1962 no, no, on that I agree, but I rarely see people talk about deeper about it. The lore implication of it, not the goofy ass mechanics that were indeed half-baked. this scene with my pawn, having her with high affinity was really emotional & hit pretty hard. playing this was a far better experience than it was in the orignal, imo.
Man that was sad af.. nearly 100hr of gameplay to see our pawn transformed with that sad and uncontrollable voice... that hits hard.. Siona.. forever in my heart❤
@@guanocrazy6802in this game your pawn either becomes insane with dragonsplague and dies. Or, if you raise their affinity and they fall in love with you, gains dragonplague but is able to overcome it and die a slightly better death.
@@guanocrazy6802 its quite the opposite acutely in dd2 you basically destroy the cycle resulting in no more arisens and pawns pawns are born from the cycle if the cycle disappear they will too . also its quite bittersweet that your pawn say "Yet for your sake, I would fain relinquish all I have- All that I am" even with a will they chose to aid you knowing that they will also die at the end
@@kannakobayashi You break the cycle as well in DD1, but you gift your pawn with a human life (your own), to live out in your stead. I was just playing the optimist in my response because DD2 was a disappointment all around.
It doesn't really feel that way, tho. During the game all you do to increase affinity is go to the barber to change your pawns looks, go to the hotspring, small talk with them (which is always the same bland sh*t). There should be special moments with your pawn during the game as well, leading to this outcome. Moments that make you actually feel like ur bonding with your pawn. Instead, your pawn feels like a supportive puppet through the whole game, and then suddenly you get this emotional scene in the end, which by then makes no real sense because all you did to cause this was go to the barber and the hotsprings, lol. Its just badly executed, like everything else in this game, sadly.
The look of anguish and realization in your main characters face when the pawn basically says " I'll give my newly realized life up even for you" then for your character to follow suit and both die a heros death is so somber yet beautiful for an ending. DD1 had a nice ending with the arisen granting the pawn their own willpower to live on is nice but after such a long long journey for the pawn and arisen to sacrifice themselves is so depressingly happy ending
I don't think our arisen died, but it became the newest seneschal... otherwise, can't say if our pawn died, became human and lived on or neither if it'll still a pawn and lives aside our seneschal
@@Devortex117 The Arisen broke the cycle. There are no more Seneschals in the new world. There is no cycle to be a Seneschal of. The Arisen sacrificed themselves to make this happen.
@@gravy7480but the world needs a cycle to purge Oblivion away, or at least a will strong enough like our Arisen's… so if it just died, then the world is doomed to fade
Don’t count your hero’s out just yet I think the ending dlc expansion might pick up where the ending left off with the arisen and pawn in a foreign land
@@Devortex117except the arisen slew oblivion as stated by the greater will. The greater will itself is the brine they are on in the same. The end cannot come if the arisen grows strong enough to challenge and quell it that’s why the ending shows everyone else surviving and the world finally being in peace with the dragons dogma finally unwritten
Haha yeah maybe that plays into it. My pawn started to behave differently lovy dovy after I picked her up from that mage guy after we got separated during the shift to the "red world"...
I can't watch this without crying. I made my pawn as one of my OC's, her name is Anais, and our journey was incredible. Hearing her at the end and not being able to prevent her death cut deep.. I wanted to be able to sacrifice myself for her, if nothing else, but in the end, neither of us made it, as it seems.
@@jm6456 i'm pretty sure both count but "true death" does a big decrease and falling a smaller one, i didnt test it in detail since i learned the affinity and ending difference after i got my true ending, tbh just dont let him die often and high five him somewhat often and you should be good
I "stress tested" main story variability, it's not a thing at all. Every REALLY important npc disappears right after cutscene or its body teleports to the quest point to revive them ( if you don't, it's just gonna soft lock you). I'll keep test it, that's what it is for now. Upd. After watching this video I see there's some minor changes, and that's it.
This end came outta no where for me. I didn't expect this much emotion. I wanted to give a standing ovation at the end. The music score was perfect. This will be a memory I cherish for a long time.
I found it very sudden and superficial. There was no bonding between Arisen and their pawn throughout the game that would lead to this pawn cutscene/dialogue. Like, how was this bond created? Just by going to the hot spring and barber and doing some bland small talk? They could've given us a few cut scenes and/or dialogue options with our pawn, to make it feel like there really is a deep bond being created that leads to this outcome in the true ending.
@Oozaru85 I mean it's not like they went on a journey to the ends of the earth or anything. If you play the game while there could be more there's still plenty.
@@ChocolateEffigy No. There is not plenty. Except empty, one-sided small talk and high-fives. And staring at me like a creep while we are sitting at a campfire.
The Japanese are really good at making batshit insane plots. If I've understood everything correctly the basic premise is that there was a greater will creating universes, but Oblivion, purely destructive force would always invade & destroy these universes. So the Greater will trapped Oblivion into the cycle of the dragon. Keeping Oblivion in a constant stalemate against mortals with the strength of will to resist. The downside of this was keeping the universes in a stagnant cycle, where true free will was impossible, especially if it endangered the cycle. The true ending is where a mortal with a powerful enough will & resourcefulness manages to conquer both Oblivion & the Greater will, thus freeing the world from the constant cycle & granting true self actuation. Rothias was most likely a Seneschal that like players from the 1st game were both confused & frustrated by the situation we were left with. The Seneschal was never a god, just another position in the cycle, a mid manager at best. Rothias said screw that & his kingdom was sunk by the wolrd to keep him from interfering with the cycle. It all does start making sense, at least compared to the 1st game & definitely compared to fromsoft plotlines.
I just finished the game and came to the same conclusion about Rothais being a Seneschal, probably the "last Seneschal" from Gransys, which was then flooded to prevent him from actually breaking the cycle, which we eventually do in this sequel. Rothais is basically us, the Arisen from the first game: wonder why he can still manifest as a spirit and even give us THE (same) Godsbane. The Seneschal might have been a surrogate of the Pathfinder - we could speculate a lot on their name alone, on Oblivion and the Brine. Still, honestly I kept seeing people talking about a full remake of the original DD, while I'm here being ecstatic because it actually IS a direct sequel. We just discover the truth once it is revealed that Vermund and Battahl were built where once stood Gransys.
The greater will is oblivion. It is just the nature of it to destroy. The greater will created the dragons dogma to justify it staving off its nature but the arisen decided to end the loop and challenge oblivion itself to a battle. The ending fight results in the arisen unwriting the end of the story by killing the end. It’s basically if god said it’s time for the rapture but some coked out human killed every angel and demon that came to earth so there’s no rapture. You unwrite the ending god has laid before you
exactly, I've seen other videos with basically a troll character and pawn too, doesn't have the same effect and emotion that I had while watching this vid
@kiraigami8002 Yeah, seriously. I mean, people are free to create what they want, but it does make it difficult to watch these ugly characters in these TH-cam videos. Looks like this person put a lot of thought into their Arisen and Pawn.
yep the blown out version of the title music. also I have to say how much i love the intro to this game as well. i love this game a lot, and this is my favourite main pawn voice! now back to Dark Arisen after a few years gap
Very good! My first journey was exactly 151 days ( like the number of first pokemon generation lol ) and she also never caught Dragonsplague. I think it may depends on how often you go to that place where you select new pawns... like, I'd think if you select new pawns every day, the % change is much higher...
It never happened to me either during the main game, but she instantly did in the unmoored world. Later learned that they're forced to get dragonsplague in the unmoored world, and it's the reason they end up like they do in this ending. As for the main game the chances are just low, especially if you played on release where no one had it so no one could spread it so i guess it'll become more common as time passes
The Pathfinder's explanation of the cycle reminds me a lot of the revelation in FFX, when the Grand Maester reveals that the great monster Sin that torments their world and comes back time and again is one and the same with their own god, Yu Yevon. Summoners are expected to sacrifice their lives and their most trusted guardians to continue a cycle they don't realize exists to perpetuate itself so that the people of their world could have hope to continue on. A sacrifice that isn't meaningless, because of that hope it inspires, but one that continues on forevermore. Similarly, the Arisen exists to oppose the conceptualization of entropy and destruction that would consume the world unchecked, and their battles and sacrifices serve to fuel the will and hopes of the people, to write the pages of the "story" that the Pathfinder watches over. A scripted battle, fated to happen again...and again....and again. "Never futile...but never-ending."
@@Oozaru85 not exactly depressing they are just drawn to the old fables that speak of hope in a world thats unforgiving and harsh or cruel. their cultures and society are often way to strict and harsh which is why you might get the impression they are always depressed and drawn to dark themes. but in truth its no different from any other society or culture each has its ups and and its flaws, but at the end of the day life goes on an people continue to do what they have always done and thats endure, hope, and challenge expectations and seek out new experiences.
Except in this ending the arisen breaks the cycle on their own and gains as much power as possible in the unmoored world till they can themselves rise up and challenge entropy and unwrite the ending and nature of the god of their world.
Saddest part is your arisen being impaled to death. We dont even know what happens to our pawns after, it's not addressed. Hopefully dlc expands the story rather than adds pre ending content like DA.
@@TheBulge idk. In the first you see pawns remain without their Arisen once they've gained a will of their own but some of the context clues in the second one make it seem pawns die regardless if their Arisen permanently dies.

Just got this ending. Proud of myself, loved every second of this. Then I see this video. And Now I'm a bit empty knowing I didn't get the best best ending
That’s how I felt it, but then I had an idea. We still have the Godsbane blade going into NG+, so what if our character truly is extradimensional and in breaking one world’s cycle, we are able to enter another/influence it. So what I thought of is me/my character feeling as though they didn’t cherish their main pawn enough, or that they didn’t properly show their main pawn how much they were appreciated. Thus, this second journey is to show my main pawn that I’d go above and beyond for them, just as they have for me.
That's my plan actually, I plan on getting my pawn to max affinity before doing seafloor shrine while protecting my pawn from dying. I will be using fighter, because yes, I have some written down notes for key dialogue and idle poses to let me know that I'm close, or I have finally maxed it out. All that I have to do now is not let her die a lot in the umoored world.
Theres no proof that the pawn is dead, we only see them get injured by the pathfinder, not killed outright so they may still be alive despite how slim a chance it may be

Except of affinity… this Dragons Dogma 2 Ending hits different. First when you face the main dragon and kill him you will get the throneroom credits, for me knowing i wont fullfill the circle and wont sit on that throne being blend, but first mindfuck theres the pathfinder which you can talk to inside the credits. Then you can talk to him twice, still resist the throne which brings you to the fight again. Then this moment there has to be something between the fight and the throne what brings you to a dying world where the Second mindfuck came where you f*cking finally unlock the Dragons Dogma 2 maintitle (i literally screamed ‚wtf‘ because this was too much thinkin of this before was maybe just a huge prolog). Now in that dying world after the cutscene you also now „know“ or guess what the tentacles in the water could be which is the 3rd mindfuck where it wasnt just only a design desicion where you shouldnt swim also it had a part in the lore and maybe you shouldnt see whats beyond that water. After that you had to rescue all citizens in that shrine where not only you tell them to go, they literally will went all the way as a group which you can follow and after that the cities will remain (less) npc less. Then when my pawn got infected by the plaque later you realice this isnt a plaque but a blessing where are pawns are bound of that god whispering cristall and having that plaque would free them having an own will; mindfuck 4. And finally theres an other big a** dragon which literally you have no idea what this is. Is he the pathfinder, because of you hit his heart, or whatever and he was lying to you of the dying world? Potential mindfuck 5. And then, finally there are the last and real credits, in these awesome theme song with this beautiful shots which you have/havent affected. The song ends, another credits roll, even after that theres a another scene of that one guy who also was an arisen because of his scar. Back to the menu, the unlocked main title stay on Dragons Dogma 2 and you just think, wtf just happend.

It's ironic because the DD2 plot is quite similar to the DnD movie. Phaesus is just Profion trying to control a red dragon. You explore caves, complete quests all with a party of fighter, mage, theif (and snails). And there's a bunch of political nonsene that makes no difference in the end!
Damn I was hoping some of the quests in the middle before reaching this point had this level of epicness too! Not that they were bad but I felt it was only the start and towards the end with the big bang moments, got goosebumps! Would have been cool for a mid campaign phaseus / sovran boss encounter before realigning interests of the bigger things at stake and then proceeding towards godsbane opening the door later!

“For you master I would give all that I am” Damn walking 165 hours in my first play through this world with my pawn Pisces it was an unforgettable adventure I’ll never forget.
If you think about it, the dragon plague was in the first game. Whenever you fought Drake's they will possess the pawns when they were picked up and would turn on the party. Totally different but pretty much the same concept
I traveled 415 days with my pawn it was nice to see that recap at the end. Is a shame that there is not a main pawn side quest or romance option that would be nice if they added that to the game. But overall I like more this ending than the OG this one has closure.
Dude. Idc what anyone says. This was an amazing game. I just finished and got this ending. It’s going to be a while before I find another RPG that scratches the itch like this did.
I just finished it and my pawn saying this made me cry. Damn. Now I understand the characters of dark arisen in the first game 😭 if only we could properly romance our pawn damn
Not me realizing I never had high affinity with my pawn in both playthroughs and never got this dialogue is CRAZY Side note: the male kindhearted #3 voice actoe goes HARD AS SHIT in this cutscene
My reaction exactly. I went in spoiler free so when I considered how weak not-Grigori was I was expecting some really epic battle here, but then it turnes out to be just a cutscene. What the hell? Don't get me wrong, I loved the game and found the story interesting, especially with how nicely the cutscene was directed. This time around I really felt a bond with my pawn and with the whole dialog and the music, I was really invested. But the lack of a real fight at the end , made me feel kinda robbed of a real ending. Especially considering how neither me nor the pawn is to be found anywhere during the credits. My hope is that we get an actual ending somewhere down the line, like with the new Sonic game.
This is awesome. I heard about having high affinity with the main pawn giving different dialog, but decided to not to grind for it and just beat the game. I got this same cutscene. Guess we were closer than i thought.
The whole story of Dragon's Dogma has always been about the Arisen and their Pawn. First game had something beautiful like this as well. This one just feels sadder cuz we get no closure about what happens to us at the end. Assumed dead...but that just sucks, doesn't it...
I loved the original game and the messaging is nearly the same, all a test of will and defining of ones purpose, the first one the pawn replaced you after the end of the subscription to life after becoming the senchal of that cycle. Or you could be dull and live the life of a plain jane villager, or fail at beating the senchal and become the dragon yourself. But this end was good not what I was expecting.
Idk... I've beat the game a few times now and it just doesn't feel the same. In DD1 it felt like a cycle, my pawn becomes me and goes again and her pawn becomes her. I beat dd1 idk how many times. This ending makes me sad. I love my pawn, We take care of one another and then it feels like we both die to break the cycle. Then we play again but how are we even going again? We died. Even taking over the throne doesn't feel natural. Everything we do just feels like putting off the inevitable. I want a pawn romance where she gains her own will at high affinity and we find a way to keep adventuring and live happily ever after. At least in the first game there was bbi so you could pretend you were walking away from being the arisen since you didn't choose that path for yourself. Don't get me wrong, it's great and I enjoy it but I feel like no matter how you end a playthrough it steals something from you that you'll never get back.
I got this pawn ending too, curious to know how come, what are these events that makes the affinity with your pawn get high? At the very end, were you got the class meister dude, I got Brant. And I really don't know why. Just made one escort mission for him and never gave him gifts, not like with Ulrika, whom I made tons of escort missios, gave her lots of gifts, even got the mission where they kiss and have the night together. Affinity with npc was always odd since the original DD.
I made my pawn Lee Van Clef basing on the look of Lee Van Cleef. Just saw this ending where Lee Van Clef told me he would give up all for me. Man, I didnt know it would get this emotional!
just a few dialogue banter changes and when you small talk them theyre more confident and gas you up a little more and sometimes blush but thats about it i think
This ending got me Emotional, I decided to have a mage main pawn and named it Saruman with Straigtforward inclination so he was brazen all the time, keep saying he will do whatever i say but doesnt mean he's happy about it. Then after 70hours with him i kinda get used to his attitude and became funny to me. Then I got this ending. Man I miss Saruman, In my newgame+ I remodeled him to female as Lady Melisandre, now Im speeding to finish the NG+ so I can turn him back to Saruman😆
So why do you leave out the final credits at the end? I say this with my utmost authority to call something definitively as objective and final and cannot possibly be disputed in any way as can be - It has the best track in the game playing?
And we caused this emotional and heartfelt dialogue by going to the barber and the hot springs. Amazing... In all honesty tho, I wish they would've given us scenes during the game, where you really do bond with your pawn through deeper dialogue or spending time with them exclusively. Maybe a snall cut scene here or there. Would've been nice. As it is now, this ending feels very sudden and out of nowhere to me, since you never spent any special moments with your pawn during the game.
@@kevinuribe318 If you defeat all the bosses in the red beams you can spend as much time as you want exploring and resting since the world will no longer be destroyed. Just make sure you don't interact with the last red beam as that will trigger the final cinematic.

@@arcanumelite4853 Yeah it's basically the same idea but not as emotional. This one shows their loyalty even after gaining their own will. The lower affinity one says something like "Your great will has bestowed me a lesser will of my own". It's still pretty good scene.

Isn’t just the regular one ? Your pawn doesn’t come to your aid if you have low affinity ? Also, how do you even raise it, you can’t give them gifts or anything ? (i got the same cutscene but I don’t recall doing anything special with my pawn)
Small talk, highfives, hot springs, changing hair or appearance, not letting them die etc. I got the same very organically ... tbh I feel like some people just treat their pawn like crap then get shocked when pawns dont care for them. the number of players I have talked to who throw their pawn at walls and the brine for fun... like of course they think you are a shit head my dude
The ending difference is that your pawn will stay in dragon form for the entirety of the scene if they don't have enough affinity, and the pawn is less emotional about it.
@@abeon8151 Not necessarily - you can have them pass it on to someone else's pawn while camping or you can go around narrow cliffs and tiptoe into them to have them fall into the brine and I dont think it counts as your fault. Great, as this part was, I was really disappointed that the last thing you did was just climb up a dragon, even the fight with the dragon was underwhelming, they even took the part where the pawns rifts in behind you. I hope if a dlc expansion happens,it will after this bring back the Daimon and Senechal, and make the Senechal fight amazing and not just a pushover like in the last game, would be awesome if the Senechal's vocation and looks will be based on your previous Arisens
It reminds me of a quote from blood meridian:
“We are dealing with a people manifestly incapable of governing themselves. And do you know what happens with people who cannot govern themselves? That's right. Others come in to govern for them.”
I think dragonsplague, arisen and pawns is pointing out that the greater will and ability to govern ones self holds the power to shape the world around you.
People just don't like it's shoddy gameplay implementation.

this scene with my pawn, having her with high affinity was really emotional & hit pretty hard. playing this was a far better experience than it was in the orignal, imo.
Man that was sad af.. nearly 100hr of gameplay to see our pawn transformed with that sad and uncontrollable voice... that hits hard.. Siona.. forever in my heart❤
If this game follows the same concept with the ending to Dragon's Dogma (good ending), then you're pawn most likely became a human and lived on. 😊
@@guanocrazy6802 In the good endings, the pawn always becomes a human.
@@guanocrazy6802in this game your pawn either becomes insane with dragonsplague and dies. Or, if you raise their affinity and they fall in love with you, gains dragonplague but is able to overcome it and die a slightly better death.
@@guanocrazy6802 its quite the opposite acutely in dd2 you basically destroy the cycle resulting in no more arisens and pawns

@@kannakobayashi You break the cycle as well in DD1, but you gift your pawn with a human life (your own), to live out in your stead. I was just playing the optimist in my response because DD2 was a disappointment all around.
This ending is so beautiful, the connection between pawn and arisen, its really emotional and makes you appreciate the journey so much more.
?
Wtf?
@@Oozaru85 exactly. you have to be used to watching one piece to consider this a good story. it's even worse than dd1.
@@Oozaru85So true. No relation like in Baldurs Gate 3. There is so much more there
The look of anguish and realization in your main characters face when the pawn basically says " I'll give my newly realized life up even for you" then for your character to follow suit and both die a heros death is so somber yet beautiful for an ending.

I think my pawns affinity was high because we trounced the enemy. Tons of high fives and laughs while throwing enemies off cliffs.

So Rothias abandoning his duty as seneschal is probably what makes the greater will take a more of an active role here.
You unwrite the ending god has laid before you
To me the sunken kingdom was like Gransys in a way. Map location and how NE there's a sunken blue moon tower just like the 1st.

My second pawn in the stalwart allies part of the credits was Kanye West. I laughed so hard when he showed up.

"Never futile...but never-ending."
yep both games inspired heavily by buddhism in the cycle of death and rebirth, and breaking the cycle to achieve true freedom

This ending was PEAK though!
God dammit now I gotta go through NG+ again
I got this pawn ending too, curious to know how come, what are these events that makes the affinity with your pawn get high?
At the very end, were you got the class meister dude, I got Brant. And I really don't know why. Just made one escort mission for him and never gave him gifts, not like with Ulrika, whom I made tons of escort missios, gave her lots of gifts, even got the mission where they kiss and have the night together. Affinity with npc was always odd since the original DD.
We just break the cycle and this is not the end...We will rise again Arisen.

@@debaros To be fair... You have to throw your main pawn to the brine if you don't want them to murder an entire city.
I never actually had that threat anyway - I was checking every single pawn's eyes I hired and she never got dragonsplague. I honestly wonder how so many people get it - its a mix of bad luck and just not paying attention I think.
Plus if you do have to brine them, you can just recoup any loss and get a net gain from going to a hot spring once.
@@debaros Yea I also nver got Dragonslague within my 100 hour playthrough. I did get the popup after hiring a specific pawn, but nothing happened. I let her in my party to see what it looks like but literally nothing. No red eyes, no headache animation, no disobedience. I had her for like 30 days and all my pawns were fine, while saw other players complain that it happened to them way too often. Guess I was just (un)lucky.
I made my pawn look like Soap from COD: Modern Warfare. I didn't think that through. 😢
didn't expect to see Ice Spice there 😂😂😂
I'm dumb, how do I even increase pawn affinity let alone get this ending?
This game i wish gave you more interactions with your and other pawns. like little quest through out the game, have BABYS be quite cool. but also... you are the arisen. just get all the pawns, hit the castle. kill the bad guys and be done with it. no dragon summoned means no bad ending. just a placid life with a harem! weeeee!!!!
so I have high pawn affinity apparently then.
Can you see affinity? How do you know?
Can someone tell me were i check the affinity for all characters
If you talk to them they will blush red in the face sometimes. If they do not die a lot. You do not kill them yourself. Or you can take them to the hot springs and each time it will increase their affection. My pawn started blushing after taking him there few times to remove his scars from other players using him.
@@wikkedawsomeI took mine to the springs once on accident and gave her the ring. I had no idea it mattered, I just genuinely love the one who stayed by my side more than anything else.
@@GabiBucciarati I just wish our companions were not soulless pawns and were humans with feelings just like in bg3. Also yeah I made a sexy character give me the freedom to see them get some action naked sometimes 😂😂
@@wikkedawsome I'm not sure if it works for pawns but at least other npcs you princess carry instead the over the shoulder one when you have max affinity with them.
i had the same ending, i'm looking around to see which mission is the last scene, the house bc i wanna see that scene also
yess i thought i did all the side quests but i guess i missed one
Thats the house right after the Checkpoint area
It's the warrior maister skill quest line
I think this scene was meant to replace it but not sure what quest it was. It might have been close to checkpoint? th-cam.com/video/6uvMCNHSR04/w-d-xo.html
ight, guess I'll go for my 3rd playthrough
Hey if you have screen and not a character, it is you miss a quest like at 9:51
I got this ending nice
Great, as this part was, I was really disappointed that the last thing you did was just climb up a dragon, even the fight with the dragon was underwhelming, they even took the part where the pawns rifts in behind you. I hope if a dlc expansion happens,it will after this bring back the Daimon and Senechal, and make the Senechal fight amazing and not just a pushover like in the last game, would be awesome if the Senechal's vocation and looks will be based on your previous Arisens
10:48 CAN ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME THE ARMOR FOR THE PAWN AND IF POSSIBLE WEAR TO GET IT
its the endgame armor from the wyrmslife crystal armorer for thief, you can unlock the vendor after reaching the unmoored world
That it? All of these side quests just for the Pawn to show up for 30 seconds? The ending doesn't seem different.
What happens if you don't have high affinity?
Is it possible to have a low pawn affinity? I only ever got the good ending.
I think so if you never interact with the pawn or if the pawn dies too much
