I love my low grade 181. Definitely better than no grade.
Have you had to deal with Whatnot for a return yet? It’s a super big hassle. You can’t do it through the app, you gotta email them. Took me five weeks and a dozen emails before it was resolved. Just a cautionary tale for my friends in the community. Don’t expect the same level of customer service as eBay or some other platforms. Hopefully they figure out a way to streamline the customer service.

Thats from the string or plastic tie that they used to bundle them up for shipping back in the day.that was probably the top copy in stack therefore the damage.
That’s how my father would buy them for me…from a candy & tobacco warehouse at Fells Point in Baltimore…whiskey barrels of candy you’d buy by the bag/pound…takes me back…🥃

I submitted my 181 to CGC in the first year of its existence. It cost me around 10 bucks.
I have a Hulk 181 7.5 CGC green label due to the missing stamp. What are the current prices of this green label book with a missing stamp?
I love my low grade keys!!! Just bought a Hulk 180 with the Mark Jewelers insert. Do you have to ask CGC to put Mark Jewelers on the label or will they do it automatically???

Low grade better than No Grade? Yep. Harder to sell than high or mid-grade? Oh yeah.
depends on what the high grade costs. I might be able to afford a mega-grail. NG or PG, with the 0.5's out of reach. so low grade IS better than no grade. hell, I couldn't afford the GRADING of a high grade mega-grail, with the 3% value charge....
@Doc Reasonable Esq Of course, I didn't say that, just that they're tougher to sell. I've owned a shop for a long time and it's something I've frequently noticed.

Yeah I alway was afraid to send something because of fear for a low grade, but I guess low grade is better than no grade in some cases! Lol
It may be suffering some defects or a victimised comic book with a few faults but it is all intact still and sound and most of all raw and not retouched etc so I that could may well be a 1.0 as I have seen coverless hulk 181's graded at 0.5 so with the covers intact it should pass as a 1.0 to maybe given a 1.5 although on ebay they sell worse condition ones at 2.0 to 2.5's. So yea you have yourself a piece of bronze age gold. Don't let it slip away!
I've go t a really nice copy of 181 probably a 7.5 - 8.0 but it is miss the mvs how much does this devalue this comic
it's a 0.5 blue label. you'll probably get that 7.5-8.0 in the Green label.

Growing up on military bases, we would get Mark Jeweler comics. Immediately, we would rip out those ring pages and give them to the girls in my class. We didn't want our comics with those sissy pages in them. Hindsight is hahaha...
