Sonny who told u there’s no future in Canada? Check the actuarial chart. People live longer because they stay active. I am retired since 2014 but stay active because i have a consulting business working from home. In Ghana, senior citizens have less to do. They stay inactive, indulge in unnecessary konkosa stuff.
U will change your vision as time goes on. Live your life the best that u can. Focus on your ambition & goals. Keep your eyes on the prize.
    Retired in Texas

Not all senior citizens are idle (have less to do) in Ghana. Some are into productive ventures such as farming and consulting just like you're doing.

This is a very important interview to learn a lot. Research is vital for traveling. Some of the universities (fees) are very reasonable in Canada, for instance, some of the masters programs in the University of Saskatchewan , Manitoba, Regina, UBC, Victoria, UNB and others.

DJ Nyame, technical education in Ghana cannot develop until policy make look at job placement issues.
By the current policy, there is about five years difference between HND holder and a degree holder in job placement. So HND graduates with technical background are going back to universities to read social sciences because with HND, it will take 5-7 years to catch up on job in terms of rank and promotions.

The HND graduates (past students, that is) can organize themselves (something like GPRTU). Ask members to pay membership fees that would go into streamlining their work (e.g. licensing, lobbying for job placement, etc.). They should put value on themselves! They can start this on volunteer basis until they find their footing. That is how many trades licensing/certification started in developed countries.

If you defer and work. You could have problems with immigration once you’re done with school . Please consult your school’s international office to know the implications.

In reference to my previous experience, I considered relocating to Canada based on positive recommendations. During my visit to Toronto and conversations with individuals from various provinces, I gained insights into the country's attributes. While Canada offers certain advantages, I found the United Kingdom to be a more suitable option for my personal and professional circumstances.
The UK provides greater ease of travel within its borders and offers more favorable holiday benefits for workers compared to Canada. Additionally, the UK's train infrastructure is more developed, facilitating convenient transportation. Furthermore, the UK's proximity to Ghana and the availability of affordable flights to Europe are significant factors in my preference.
Moreover, the UK's urban planning, particularly in London, allows for convenient access to various amenities within walking distance. The abundance of green spaces and parks enhances the overall quality of life.
It is a common misconception that salaries in Canada are substantially higher than those in the UK. However, based on my research and experience in the quantitative analysis field, I discovered that my earning potential would be lower if I relocated to Canada.
In summary, after careful consideration of various factors, including ease of travel, holiday benefits, infrastructure, proximity to preferred destinations, urban planning, and salary potential, I determined that the UK aligns better with my personal and professional aspirations.

@rjthelit Naa. I just feel she is following the hype too much. Once u become a citizen of the UK , u would realise u actually have more advantages of living in the UK.

Stop the bragging. It is defficult in Ghana to sustain that money your father gave you. After staying in the house for 5 months you realise the simple work has paid for your debt. Quick
