I literally saw a dude on a Ring camera take a bic lighter and he caught a palm bush on fire and just walked away. The thing literally was a full blown fire within 20 seconds. Crazy.

I don't know. I live across from a moderately-priced tourist hotel in downtown L.A. I was expecting it to be sold out with evacuees, but it has not been more than 1/3 full all week.
They have multiple shelters set up in different areas. They were/ are using high schools, & other facilities. People can go online to check out their local areas of shelters. Many are back in their homes that have not been lost. I pray that others have relatives or friends that will take them in.

As great as it may seem, salt water does more harm than good in the long run. Fire is technically good for the earth and soil. Obviously we don’t want it to hurt anyone so we use water. Saltwater completely damages property and the ground. It makes it impossible for new life like plants and animals to take back the area with the salt damaging everything.
