Interview with Erick Venditte, 2018 Trumpet Competition 1st Prize Winner, Category II, Ages 14-18

We caught up with Erick Venditte from São Paulo, Brazil who won 1st prize in category two, ages 14-18 in the 2018 Ictus International Trumpet Competition (www.trumpetcompetition.org). Erick is now 17 and was 15 when he won Ictus. In this interview he shares his experience starting trumpet at age 5, what music means to him, his daily practice routine, and his experience winning several large competitions.
