    Is it just me, or is it completely unacceptable that a ball kid had to pick up Giorgi's racquet? If you throw your racquet, pick it up yourself. That's absurd.

    • @kineticdeath
      @kineticdeath 2 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      a player who breaks a racquet should be required to complete the game with said racquet, or maybe even continue using it untill the next change of ends. Should they try to game the rule by breaking one at the change of ends, have them use the broken racquet anyway untill the following change of ends.

    Why are Morgane Lara and Paula Viera Souza still on tour as umpires? They have done so many mistakes. I am especially surprised that Morgane Lara is still on tour as an umpire after what she did to Camilla Giorgi last season when she played against Sara Sorribes Tormo.

    • @einarsd4
      @einarsd4 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @FichDich InDemArsch The other one mentioned her. But I think that Morgane Lara was the worst. She unfairly penalized Camilla Giorgi for time violation although when she did that 5-10 seconds were remaining for Giorgi to serve, made a lot incorrect line and score calls, that way stealing points from Camilla Giorgi, many times refused to call for supervisor when Giorgi asked her to call him although umpire must call for supervisor if there is conflict between a player and chair umpire about line calls. If all that doesn't add up to worst officiating ever, I don't know what does.
