I am not in Med School; actually, a Political Science student. Regardless, Poli Sci requires a lot of reading as well, so this video actually managed to help out. Thank you!
This video was super helpful! Is it possible to start a series on your channel where you go through and break down research articles and how to identify the limitations of the study that may be mentioned or not mentioned by the authors? Thanks.
Yes I really want to see more about the nuances of statistical extrapolation!! I think this will help me immensely, especially in the format your videos use
Very helpful Video! This kind of stuff should be taught in college! At the time I was starting my bachelor thesis, I have never seen a paper before and I was almost incapable of understanding the papers I was assigned to read.
Very informative video. I m a medical student from India I also follow the same sequence of reading. I want to share another imp tip that while writing a research paper one should write the reference simultaneously this saves lot of time of finding n writing the same later on and while reading if one finds an imp refernce ; try to highlight it immidiately and search it as soon as u finish the paper this also gives you more in depth understanding to the research title.
hey i wanted to ask questions about writing research paper. I want to write an research paper myself. due to covid i wont be able to gather subjects for my paper so what are the alternatives i could use to collect my data?
I really like ur videos dr jubbal.its like an online comittee fr med students like us to talk abt small things which r critical fr an overall better n easier approach to dis career.tnx
i want to start a research project on women's health, but im currently a high school sophomore and our current curriculum is not helpful when trying to comprehend and analyze scientific papers. thank you dr. jubbal!

Please make another video on the nuances of statistics and extrapolating conclusions from the research, if you have not already! Your channel has such amazing and helpful videos!! So thank you!!
Please make a video about the nuances and limitations, im gonna write my first scientific paper next this year in medicine and i could really use that because writing about a very controversial field, and i dont want to use studies that turn out to be unsignificant. Thanks for the great video, i really like your chanel. Keep up the good and helpfull work !
Thanks for this really great video. I would love to see what you have to say from your experience in "the nuances of stats", and maybe dig a little bit deeper in study design limitations.
I'm not even a STEM student (anymore, I quit in Senior as I was a STEM student in junior) and it felt like a nightmare after I woke up when I found out there's STILL research even though I escaped it
Excellent video. I read research papers for fun. I understand research is important in medicine but I do not understand why they expect undergraduate students to read these papers if there are no clinical applications in undergraduate students work.
Hi Dr Jubbal... Could you please make a step by step video on how to create a research article? Or atleast recommend a book that explains how to do that. Thanks again, really appreciate your videos
Hi Jubbal, can you make a video about about the statistics of published articles. Including high crimes like falsification, fabrication and plagiarism, and misdemeanors.
I'm an MS0 who didn't do any research in undergrad, but is interested in doing so in medical school. Could you do a video about everything you need to know about doing research? Thanks!
There are couple of things I would like to see. Firstly it is the statistical analysis, I would love to know some of the terms. Second of all, I would like to know how to not make mistakes - bear with me. As a MD you are responsible for so many things. I believe we all make mistakes. And it could be normal that you have little to no sleep. Being tired + making decisions = many mistakes (for me). So is there any way to actually prevent mistakes (even in normal day to day life)?
Can you make a video about how to find a good research mentor/lab as a medical student or resident? What are some pitfalls to avoid? How to know if I will end up being able to publish?
Hello, may I know if you have a published video on “the nuances of statistics and extrapolating conclusions from the research”. If not would you please recommend some book or articles on this topic. Thank you.
Hey kevin I hope you can just add some subtitles so that people from other countries can watch this and have some hope and convidence. I really trying to spread your videos through my friends and other students but you know its sometimes difficult for anybody to learn well english . Even i was thinking to translate it myself but never had time . I hope you understand . Thank you.

As a person interested in biochemistry but not necessary med school, I would find a video on better understanding statistics in research very useful
Hey Ender! It's been a year. Would you say you're proficient on academic papers?
It’s overwhelming trying to keep up with all the research coming out now, and it seems like a lot of people just look at the abstract. Great video!
A huge call of appreciation from young researchers of Pakistan. We need such videos to improve our research skills. More such videos please.
Cheers!!!
As someone interested in Dermatology, I really appreciate you breaking this down! Thanks Kev!

Vid was great man, even in fields like electrical eng you may find yourself reading research. 💪
I would like to know how you got the chance to pump out so many research papers in 12 months and what sorts of studies/research it involved.
I want to know how you could produce 30 novel papers in a year! That's incredible, were you the lead author in most of them?
