6 Dead, Several Feared Missing As Boat Capsizes In Jhelum River | Srinagar News

Srinagar News Today: Six children have died and 10 people are missing after a boat capsized in the Jhelum river in Srinagar on Tuesday, officials said. The boat overturned after the rope used to help it cross the river snapped suddenly, they added. Water levels in the river swelled after heavy rains in the region over the last few days.

May the deceased souls rest in peace . The government is complacent in this manslaughter that has cost innocent lives at Batwara .The absence of bridge that has forced people to use medival modes of transportation. My heart goes out to the families of the deceased. Today marks a dark day for srinagar city.

This is indeed heart breaking, such a sad state of affairs of administration incharge which has put soo much delay over the construction of bridge, if this bridge would been have been built timely, like you loot people timely whether by indirect taxes or property taxes where you serve notices, why did administration fail to serve a notice to concerned authorities who failed to build this bridge, indeed the government is the killer of these kids, and little girls and the family mourning.
