Right on!! I was just about to take my board to the shop to get my delam professionally fixed than found this vid last min. Just fixed my board using this method and it looks good as new!! Saved a bunch of money on the repair and a new stomp pad. Thank you!!!
Great job making it easy. To make it easier, I don't think you need the glass if you only have 2 small holes. You've got all that hard resin under the holes. I'd just sand the resin down to just above the rest of the deck. Someone let me know if I'm wrong, but I've done a lot of surfboard repair including glassing fin boxes back in and putting 1 ft of broken nose back on.
Hi, such a good video. Thanks a lot. I've got exactly the same problem on my eps board under the tail pad. Thinking I'll leave the tail pad on and just cover it in glad wrap and tape. then drill and fill around it. Would you do the same? Thanks heaps
Hi, great video.🤙🏾 Do I need to use laminating resin or sanding resin for this technique? I only have these two types of Suncure resins...I don’t have epoxy resin.
TBH this repair looked better than the pro vac wrap repair, as no dimples. Appreciate they're different boards and dings though. Great videos, my next SUP likely to be a Sunova on the back of this. How's the T3 tech holding up, little bit nervous of going back to poulwina as my FW timbretek cracked, in the knee zone for ducking, and sucked up water like a sponge. Months to dry and repair.
I have a epoxy lightspeed lost surfboard only had it 4 months never left it in the sun but a bubble has formed in the bottom of the board. What would you suggest I do?

Greetings, saw your last video with the vacuum method. Can you breakdown the tools needed for that?

Could you use this method on a regular glass over foam board?

Epoxy will work with polyester resin.. but never use polyester resin on an epoxy board. If you have a polyester board, use laminating resin.

What’s the resin mix?
It’s epoxy resin. Every type has a different mix ratio.
