I'm so glad someone was brave enough to ask to see that process! I often am curious but not always brave enough to actually voice it. ☺ Sometimes I'll just make stuff up and when it doesn't turn out perfect I don't try again. I appreciate all of you guys encouraging "non-perfection". And I'm finally becoming of the mind to do what pleases me since it's mine. Anyway, I'm inspired to put together an "art journal" for my attempts at creativity. And for that, I thank you all. (Makers is a wonderful community of folks.) 💝(good)💝(better)💝(absolute best)

"OOH, that's a bit murdery". LOL... and then you went again with the berry mini ink. I just burst out in laughter😂.
Haven't had a good laugh in days. Thank you ❤

I wouldn’t consider fast forwarding. Your video is perfect, explains every step, most enjoyably but without a lot of blabbering. Thank you so very much. I’m going to make myself a travel journal.

OMG I started watching this in a coffee shop... And had to stop and wait until I got home to watch it in peace! I've just prepped an unused drawing journal into an art over .... And am confronted with many many white pages (including the cover!). Love everything you did. Some of your water color pages look like my attempts (so I'm encouraged to continue). I'm also thinking that powder bursts would work as well. Now I'm off to round off the corners! Thank you - and thanks to the subscribers who requested the video

Love watching you do your thing Ceri! Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I think that you are on holiday, as you call it. In the states we call it vacation. I hope you enjoy your time here in America. Anxiously waiting to see what you will show us next. Yesterday I watched your 5 item exchange that you did with Gayle a couple of years ago, where you told us about your life and the challenges and changes you continuously were going through….then I watched what Gayle did with the items you sent her. Laughed and cried with both. Also, if you make a long video, I will watch all of it. I don’t get why people complain if a video is long, they watch movies that are usually 2+ hours long….they don’t complain about that! Just my thoughts Ceri.

Ceri this has been so interesting watching this video! I had thought each page was done separately, dried and then put into a signature, not bound first. Amazing! The other thing that really hit me tonight is strange as I've seen it and done it many many times. But the difference in your signature with just rounding the corners! It made it more sophisticated! Not sure why it took me this long to really notice the difference! Lol. Slow learner I guess! Lol 😆 😉 I truly enjoyed this video, right up there with my top favorite videos. TFS! Hugs from South Dakota, USA 🤗
P.S. As normal, no response needed. 🙂

Hi Ceri. Thank you so much for all your videos. I have been on a creative jag and been trying stuff from your videos, which have been sending me off down creative rabbit holes! 😂 I'm completely inspired. I notice that perfection has been something that you are working on and I have had to also. I've finally gotten to a point where the only opinion that matters to me is mine (however I do appreciate other people's regard or esteem) I have several phrases I think of, but one I think you might like is - Humans weren't created to be perfect, so revel in your imperfection.

This is a great video. I am going to try it. Have been scared to do mixed media type of stuff, but if it is only a 8ish by 8ish piece of paper, I will not be too upset about something turning out ugly…not quite a perfectionist, but I am so bad at selecting colors that work well together. Yes, I have a color wheel and I use it, but still do not like the combinations I end up with.

    • @CeriGriffiths
