Stayed there for 3 nights like you, yes it's a walk to the room, but we all need some exercise!! Enjoyed my stay and for me one of the best parts was the location - across from Caesars, a block from the Bellagio, and the LINQ Promenade with all the bar/restaurants - great.
I like that they have the flamingos in the little outdoor area. It's cool but makes me sad for them lol I always love your lil quips and jabs in your commentary! Thanks for always being honest and open in your reviews!
Hotel prices fluctuate too much. Any reviewer who gives you hotel prices is either just telling you what they paid that night, or they are making up an estimate. A room that sometimes costs $50 can cost over $500 during the Superbowl or F1 etc... you always have to shop around if price is your number one priority. But I definitely should start talking about that in my hotel reviews. Thanks for the question!
Curious what you mean by party kind of hotel. Like it was loud in the rooms? or more the just the pool area? I'm looking to come in November so not worried about pool partying at that time of year but definitely don't want a loud room! Great review though.
I'm definitely referring more to the atmosphere of the casino/property as a whole. I can't say the rooms are noisy from the two times I've stayed there, but it is definitely a resort that attracts younger guests... possibly on a budget... who might be more inclined to pregame in their rooms and not be buying expensive cocktails at night clubs. Incidentally, their pool is under a major refurbishment right now, and will not be open again until next year. I hope that helps!
First, I just want to let you know that the lights come on automatically at the Cosmo too (in the closets). I can’t stand the never ending walks from Flamingo elevators to their rooms either. Last time I booked a room there it was supposed to be for 3 nights. June 4, 2020 which was the day of reopening after covid shut down. You’d think the place would be spotless being closed for 6weeks. There was a bunch of drywall crumble all over the bathroom floor and PUBES in my shower. I ended up never staying and instead I repacked my luggage and took it over to Cosmo and slept on the couch of my friends’ wraparound suite. I haven’t looked back since. 😂
Ohhh I haven't noticed a hard wire for internet in a while. Although it's possible a port exists behind the TV, if you bring your own cable. I honestly don't know. I'll try to remember to look for that going forward!
You can always request a closer room upon check-in (if you wait in line for a real human and not just use the kiosk). But if you want to guarantee a short walk, stay at Planet Hollywood!! Best accessible elevator situation on the strip, in my opinion!
I don't usually report on this unless it's noticeably abnormal (See my Rio review). I have never had any trouble with the TEMPERATURE at any Vegas hotel. The shower heads differ, but the water pressure has been decent at most (not the rio) hotels I've reviewed.
Thanks for the feedback!! Lol I can't tell you how many people complained that my videos needed music!! I would prefer to just talk. I try to split the difference.
Caesars is trash after el dorado took over. I’m a seven star and I always have issues getting rooms lol. They treat their players like trash now. Will be converting my card at Wynn.
So, no, coffee makers are not standard in hotel rooms. Always read the room description and list of amenities carefully. Coffee makers are often considered a premium amenity in more "premium" rooms. So you might find them in certain rooms, but not necessarily *all* rooms at any given hotel. Some of the off-strip, or locals hotels make them more of a standard offering. Like the Boyd or Stations hotels etc... but more often, they want you to spend money at their hotel restaurants and/or Starbucks. Always ask the front desk person checking you in if the room has a coffee maker. They sometimes may be able to move you to a room that does, or in some cases, they will send one to your room. It's all a case by case, room by room, hotel by hotel basis...
Very nice and roomy ! I'm happy they've kept up with it so nicely. Very well done. It's a national treasure !
The Flamingo is a great hotel. Book it. You won't be disappointed. Especially the gardens, pools and "habitat".

Never had a problem staying there
You will find those guys that will make you in offer you can’t refuse at the flamingo 💰💰😂😂

Man, after learning about HOW the Flamingo Hotel and Casino came to be, it's crazy to see how it grew from then on.
It's impressive that it's still there!

You mean Ben?
My regular LV hotel. Stayed many times.
Price including resort fee is an important part of any hotel review.

I have a pretty good idea of why your sink wasnt draining properly

@@MikeTheVegasGuy ahh I see what you mean, makes sense, I do remember the casino getting really busy at night, thanks!
Thanks. We are headed there for RuPaul and CES. 👋@@MikeTheVegasGuy
Just like staying on a cruise ship. A long walk to your room. I feel ya for sure.

Not sure if I missed it in the video, but for working remote, is there a hardwire for internet or only Wi-Fi?

@@MikeTheVegasGuy Thanks!

@MikeTheVegasGuy thanks. My husband is disabled and will keep that in mind.
shower pressure and water temperature???

Background music was annoying. Sorry
Ty for the review tho

@@MikeTheVegasGuymaybe if it was a little lower. I’m half deaf so too much for my ear to hear you over the music.
Thanks for video.
The walk form the elevator is too much for me!!!
How much they charged you for the food delivery?
An extra $12 **sigh**
Wow

Great view at night
Is the vip check in for any diamond status
Any Diamond or above.
No coffee pot?????????? Are they all like this? I booked one with strip view.. Harrahs have them, i thought it was a standard thing

I'm surprised. I thought that the first thing you were going to say was: Party hotel or ghetto.
Ive stayed there but I always get the strip view , now I just go to Harris
what,no coffee maker in the room?whats up with that?
It's no coincidence when there is a Starbucks on the first floor...
@MikeTheVegasGuy harrahs have them, and they also have a Starbucks on the first floor... so
I'll never stay there again just my opinion.
Me too! Our last stay was 12-13 yrs ago and we couldn't believe the room that they gave us:, and we're both Diamond Plus.
that piece of chicken looked.......bad
you need the exercise lol
Bellagio is the worst
