Yes, drywall only in commercial buildings not residential in the USA. Drywall help to remodel for the commercial building if they like in every 4-5 years. Plywood is used in a residential building in the USA. This Plywood is high quality approved by Certified agencies. The USA has a solid legal system and if any false found in any of the construction then the builders are liable and have to pay millions for the entire community. Another thing that the USA had a very dry climate even if it is snowing. So, plywood does not have any deterioration and long-lasting. India has a humid environment. For this reason, the Lodha method is not accepted but a threat to the customer. Lotha is a ripoff.

Internal walls in 95% of residential are made of drywall on both sides inside studs are always 3.5inch thick. Please don't spread misconceptions. This man doesn't know what he is talking about. Please study what you are talking about. While it feels flimsy it's ok enough for use. You don't damage it easily but it's easier to fix it. A handy home owner can fix it. If you can paint a wall you can fix a dry wall. First dry wall has paper backing on inside surface not on front face..of course it's laughable that he claims drywall sheets have baggase inside.
Drywalls walls should not be 2 inches for sure. You should not have just drywall in external wall. You can have a 2-3 inch brick plaster wall on outside walls.
You can mount 75 kg painting on just two plastic anchors in a hollow wall without going into the studs. If you screw into the studs you can put in more than 75 kg on each stud connection. Watch some TH-cam videos on dry wall anchors.
The other side to drywall is if properly made with vapor barrier, proper construction techniques and specifications, properly made insulation you can cool a 1000 sft house with from 40° C to 18°C in every room, bath room kitchen will be cool 24/7. And will cost 1/5 the cost of cooling uninsulated house.

Plus from fire safety perspective both gypsum and engineered Woods are flammable and this requires critical fire safety systems. Drywall/Gypsum wallboard (GWB) is an accepted fire barrier; however, it is also a huge fuel source for the first few minutes of exposure to a fire or even temperatures higher than 451 Fahrenheit. That's because the paper fascia on gypsum wallboard, even fire rated GWB, is PAPER - paper coated withflammable paint.

    Hi there!
I have been watching your videos from a while now. And I really appreciate your efforts. In this particular be video, I am breaking it down in different parts.
    0-5 mins
So to begin with, the super-structure( the building that u see above the ground level) you r talking about is based on only three parts, columns, beams and slabs. The walls that u see whether made up of bricks, AAC blocks or gypsum board does not have any role in transferring the load. It is only used for partition.
It is true that by using gypsum instead of bricks, the structure becomes lighter but then the foundation is designed according. And I'm sure it must be having pile foundation so there is nothing to worry about.
Also there are mainly 4 kinds of loadings that r used while dynamic analysis of any structure, dead load, live load, earthquake load and wind load. And lighter a structure gets, better it performs during these dynamic loading conditions.
Also it is designed for the load combination according to IS 456, IS 1893 and IS 4326.
So regarding the structure stability, the video is false and I'm not watching it any further.
However, ur work is impressive and I understand how much courage it takes to fight. I agree to problems like delayed possessions and other false promises. Good work!

There is some untrue statements by the architect. Every residence in usa is built with gypsum boards or drywall as they call it. Both walls and ceiling. But drywall is never designed to bear load. Drywall are in turn attached to load bearing wood frame or 2x4 they call it with drywall screws. If you need to attach some furniture to wall you need to screw it to the wood studs and not drywall boards which will break. It is very easy to change the room layout with drywalls. There is nothing wrong with drywall in homes.

Dry wall are used in Europe, USA, UK are due to : most of the houses made with wooden structure. Wooden houses were more desired by builder as they are cost effective if they have to mass produce houses. The dry wall used is these countries go through strict regulations which is not possible in India where anything can be passed by lining the pockets of quality control personnel. Secondly dry wall is used in majority of constructions in these countries so the dry wall is much cheaper there. Therefore can be easily changed if there is moisture and mould problems. Same is not possible in India. Cost will be exorbitant. It can be fire resistant for a short period of time but that issue is negated by the gaps in the dry wall partitions that will help in spreading it uncontrollably faster. India is waiting for a major fire disaster to happen since fire escape is hardly given any importance in high rises in India unlike the west. Thirdly I have seen in the West one has to use sledge hammer to break the dry walls. Fourthly the insulation used as shown in your video is laughable. It should actually cover the whole gap just like a stuffing. That also has become old school. Now a days they are using foam Insulation.

Payal Bose No harm in copying new ideas as long it is applied with expertise using highest grade products. The builder as per as the previous video has used quality grade dry wall as per the international expert but it lacked the expertise in application. Other thing to keep in consideration is whether- is this idea viable in Indian market with Indian mentality of feeling secure with solid walls. Builders make a statement when they build a high rise. It is their legacy with their name attached to it for years to come. I have seen India builders abroad selling off their units within a week. I feel a sense of pride when an Indian achieves that in a foreign country. Why can’t we achieve this here India. No pressure selling but people lining up to grab the opportunity to own a unit.

You need to mention what is the objective of making these videos? You just want to spread info or you want some action.

@@zubinpatel25 that person is educated not illiterate. If he has studied architecture or civil engineering, he can easily analyse what is being done. That contractor has previously worked with someone for a long period of time.

@@ashishdevnani Lol I never said he is illiterate, please understand what point I am trying to portray. I am simply talking about his expertise (Fabrication of windows) nothing else and if your mentioning he has worked for along period of time for someone, he mentioned he worked for Lodha only for 1.5 months? and if someone he hasn't mentioned any other builder apart from Lodha then how do u claim that point ??
