Danger once again surrounds Bella (Kristen Stewart), as a string of mysterious killings terrorizes Seattle and a malicious vampire continues her infernal quest for revenge. He’s despicable and uncharacteristic in the books. He didn’t acknowledge that bella broke her hand and congratulated Jacob on kissing her??
In the books he picks Jacob's side even though he had literally assaulted his daughter.

Did you know, in the eclipse book, bella just takes the kiss, her body goes on lock down and she just stands there, once he’s finsihed he pecked her three to four times, then Bella says “Are you done?” Then jAcob replies yes, and then he gets punched lol
And that was after she tried fighting him off for a minute or so too. He assaulted her and then everyone took his side. Except Edward. That's when I changed teams from Jake to Edward

This isn’t an “unrequited love” scene it’s an assault scene and should be represented as such.
A kiss is not an assault. Not even close to the trauma of how violating sexual touch/penetration really is. An assault gives you PTSD for years. It’s very insensitive to compare the two.

I never knew how Jacob is like in the books but as much as I love him, I can agree that what he didn't isn't exactly right because she does like Edward and he should take the hint. In the books he literally holds her against him and when she tries to push him away and fight him off, he holds her tighter. She then goes slack and just doesn't respond. After she punches him, he laughs at her and says "it's not my fault you broke your hand. You should have known better." And then Charlie takes Jake's side. That's the moment I became team Edward from Team Jacob.

I feel so much for Jacob, although yes his behaviour and trying to impose his belief on Bella is plain toxic. It's hard to accept even out of love that the one you love chose something else than you. It's hard when you believe that they are just not admitting their feelings for you just so they could commit to their decision to choose something else. With a lot of suffering and self-control, (at 24yo) I managed to live with that, to force myself to be respectful to the one I love, so I would understand and forgive Jacob (at 17yo) for being unable to do it.
He literally assaulted her in the books and clearly he forces a kiss on her in the movies, im kinda shocked that people still love Jacob even with knowing about this scene. Yall need some psychological help for this way of thinking. Whether the story is fictional or not, your mindsets and how you go about it is NOT

I am always gonna love Twilight series, but the most stupid part of the story in my opinion was how Jacob was all about Bella and he shifted it to her daughter in last movie..i mean this was ridiculous..i wish Meyer wrote it differently.

She led him on for years…. Don’t know why she acts all innocent. No he shouldn’t of kissed her then but at the same time she should have made things clear from the get go. She practically uses Jacob and it really pisses me off. Edward is a classic case of an extremely abusive partner. He controls her, gaslights and manipulates her and tries to kill himself and puts bella in danger. Jacob can be irritating but at least it seems he actually did care for her whereas bella seemed more like a consolation prize for edward.
Jacob was just as bad LMAO. 😂 He manipulates Bella, using her feelings of guilt to make her feel sorry for him, even gaslighting her into kissing him, and is trying to force himself on Bella in the scene above.
