"Maybe there's so many more fun things to do on a Friday evening but this is what floats my boat"...why is this literally my daily mindset when it comes to Straykids 😂😂😂!
So from my understanding, most groups will stay in one "dorm" setting aka share one apartment and share bedrooms w/ bunk beds in the beginning. This is not only for them to bond but also, we can presume, that it's because the company doesn't know if the group will become successful so they are saving money until the group proves themselves.
Once a trainee with potential is recruited, the company spends lots of money feeding them, training them with singing lessons, dance lessons, sometimes instrument lessons, with no guarantee that they will be successful. So understandably they don't spend a lot of money housing them individually until they gain quite a bit of success. Also, from my understanding, a portion of a groups earnings are collected in the beginning to pay back their training period once they become successful so they don't get a "full paycheck" until their training is paid off... please correct me if I'm wrong fellow Stays or kpop stans 🙏 ❤.
Straykids lived in this apartment together until they gained quite a bit of success. Currently they now share 2 separate 4 bedroom apartments, and each have their own private bedroom now. Chan, Changbin, Han (aka 3RACHA) and Hyunjin share one apartment. Lee Know, Felix, Seungmin and I.N share the other apartment. Now they at least have their own bedrooms and privacy. They earned it 😊.
Tbh even though they could probably each afford their own place by now, they're so close and bonded that they probably wouldn't even want to lol. Just my opinion 🤷‍♀️. Obviously once they start dating we'll see them each move into their own places one by one but they're so busy all the time that that'll be tough to do right now.
