This survival shows are made when companies wants to debut new groups. Felixs parents are korean, but he was born and raised in Sydney. He didn't knew korean up until he joined this company. Then it was essential for him to learn it. Here he isn't fluent since its been only few months after. As for the age: The youngest is indeed I.N. Woojin (oldest at that time) and Chan are born in 1997. Lee Know is 1998, Changbin is 1999. Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin are 2000 babies, I.N. was born in 2001. Now if you re-watch the video, I.N said that he was 18, and Felix is 16. The thing is that in Korea they had up until recent time korean age system. As Felix is from another country he isn't used to it and tells his international age. I.N is actually 16 in here. Recently this system was deleted and now technically nobody need to tell their korean age, but some of skz still uses this, as they are more used to it. Hope this helps.
@@itskristinacom you mean age system? I don't completely know about it... I think like if child is born he is already 1 year old (9 months of pregnancy also counts). Also I think that it is +1 year every New year, no matter when you are born. So people might be 2 years older than they are in our age system. Thank God that this system is no longer active. It was very confusing for me all the time. But I think it is hard for them to get used to this way. They even now sometimes get confused. I just memorized years when they were born and check it like that...

JYP gave Bang Chan the highly unusual opportunity to help develop his own idol group. They were consider an 'experiment'. - Fun Facts: The girl group 'Twice' that was wishing him and his group well, really wanted good things for him as his 'older' sisters. He always looked out for him, even sneaking them food when JYP put them on a strict diet. Omg, hi, thank you for the reaction! It got me really excited for your journey as a Stay. So, there are certain companies in the industry that will recruit people, who then become trainees, and later on, debut. As a trainee you practice dancing, singing, rapping (some companies also have language or acting classes), and there are evaluations monthly to verify the trainees abilitys. JYP Entertainment is a really famous and respected company. As it was mentioned in the video, Chan had been a trainee there for 7 years already, a lot of his friends debuted (DAY6, GOT7, TWICE), after a few years since the last debut, JYP was going to choose another team to debut, in this case, it was Chan's self-made team! A year later after Stray Kids debuted, a lot of the girls you saw in the video debuted together in a group called Itzy. About ages, there is a lot of confusion, because of the korean age system, so, it is always easier to learn their year of birth and navigate from there. As I.N, Hyunjin and Woojin were born in the spring (2001, 2000 and 1997), and Changbin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, Chan and Minho were born in the fall (1999, 3 x 2000, 1997 and 1998), their international ages here at the start are: Woojin 20, Chan 19, Minho 18, Changbin and Hyunjin 17, all the rest 16. The live final episode was shot in December, so then their ages were: Woojin and Chan 20, Minho 19, Changbin 18, I.N 16 and the rest 17.
