As a tiny part of God, naturally we seek divine love and bliss, which aligns us with our true spiritual nature. But due to our ignorance or carelesness when we focus on material desires, we may experience temporary satisfaction, but it often leads to suffering and dissatisfaction because these are not our ultimate purpose. When we seek spiritual fulfillment and align our desires with the desire of God, we find peace, joy and happiness.
We are God's most loved creation , God is an unlimited source of mercy ,kindness , love , compassion : everything we need for a peaceful , successful life . He is much more generous to pour everything on us as His BLESSING , by asking / praying for material possessions or even for liberation , we are drawing lines of limitation on His all encompassing mercy and blessings . He wants our loving devotion only . So we must develop loving adoration for Him , faith in Him and surrender to Him . This spiritual desire only should replace all other desires . Thank you Swamijee for this valuable discourse . Radhey Radhey .
The comparison of God and cosmic bellboy really puts our attitudes in perspective. Reverse perspective and become bellboy to God. Surrender and devotion to God.
Attaining divine love for your chosen form of God is the ultimate goal of life, automatically attaining God, you’ll get liberation so no need to solely aim for liberation. Aim for God and love for Him and you’ll attain Him, His abode, His happiness and He’ll free you from all miseries of the world. It’s a very simple sweet path :) 🙏🏽
Desire for Shree Krishna's happiness results in our own happiness and as a by product, liberation from all miseries. Thank you Swamiji 🙏🏻 Radhey Radhey 💐💐
Our desires are never ending. Let us stop pestering God with these material desires and wish lists. We should desire God only for His sake, and to deepen our connection with Him. Let us aim to increase our devotion and our knowledge of God and relentlessly endeavour to understand His wisdom in the Gita. Om 🙏🙏🙌

Swamiji during your free time, try to prepare a talk on the subject of Anhaad shabd the unstruct melody and what is Nirgun and Sargun, and where Ishvar fits in. And also a talk on the administration of Dharam rai the Angel of Death and meaning of Chitergupt.. what does this administration does and their duties
To give away or give up everything which appears to belong to oneself, that's that which is your own. For me, wife and son are also another and not the self, if like Dadichi if one's own body was offered, then it would be exemplary, not sacrificing another human or soul in the form of any other life form.
In reference to desire for liberation: What are examples of thoughts that arise that are associated with liberation, please? In other words, how do I know if my mind is attached to desire for liberation? Is it the thought “I do not care if I suffer in God’s sea of Maya.” the proof to God that I do not desire liberation? Why would a soul engage in devotion in the beginning if not for liberation from rebirth (to dwell with RadheKrishna forever)? In the beginning, is it not a selfish motive to practice serving God with mind, body, and soul?
B.G.2.60. Sin embargo, los deseos fogosos e indómitos arrastran impetuosamente el corazón del sabio que contra ellos forcejea para alcanzar la perfección
If we are only to desire God's happiness in each moment, how do we know what will make God happy? In other words how will we know which action to take?
Disclaimer: I am not spiritually advanced or self-realised like Swamiji but the following may help: Begin with trying to remember Lord Krishna (or any God/ Deity you are drawn to), in every single action you do, including your daily routine and occupation. Remind yourself and pray to the Lord that you are performing every action for Him. Mentally give up all the fruits of your actions-perform action but do not get attached to the fruits. Anything good that happens, gratefully consider it God’s gift and use the fruits to get closer to God. Anything bad that happens, also accept it as God’s mercy to remind you of God and pray to Him harder. As an opportunity to become spiritually, mentally and physically stronger, to serve Him better. Add doing japa i.e. chanting the name of God using a mantra like ‘Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare’ 11 times with love and devotion, gradually increasing to at least 108 times a day. Begin with chanting slowly, focusing on each syllable, with your heart filled with love for God. Read the Bhagavad Gita by Swamiji every day (Amazon has it). Reflect upon each teaching and apply it in your daily life. The Bhagavad Gita is the ultimate manual for spiritual development. It describes and entwines the different Paths to God (Work, Meditation, Devotion and Knowledge) seamlessly into a magnificent formula, made even easier to understand by Swamiji. By doing this, the Lord develops wisdom in us that enables us to take correct decisions in our daily life, that will make God even happier. Within a few months itself, you will notice magical changes in yourself-subtle but astonishingly evident positive changes in your attitude and behaviour regarding life, events, people, relationships, work etc. And you will get closer to God. Wish you God’s mercy in your spiritual endeavours. Hare Krishna!🙏🏽❤️

Live your life like a Lotus in the mud. It is up there but not touching the mud. Do your work without desire. Only that way the results of Karma will not touch you. Niskama Karma.. or desireless work. Anyway we all can try and it is a process..
Swamiji is not teaching for people who wish to enjoy material world and attain fleeting, limited material happiness. The philosophy he is teaching is the highest philosophy and is meant for our spiritual growth while living in this world. If spiritual progress is not one’s goal, then Swamiji’s teachings will not make sense.
@@debasmita7708 That is not the right way to avoid an obvious problem. Tell me, in this world who is not caught in the grand illusion of Maya and Desires. Probably all of us except a select few. And most amazing revelation of Advaita teaches us that everyone of us are essentially divine and once we realize it the path of sadhana will automatically start. Even in Bhagvad Geeta, Arjun has expressed the difficulties in controlling the mind, and Krishna's reply was , "Yes, it is difficult Arjun, but not impossible and with the sword of knowledge and Vairaga man can conquer these lure of senses". He did not brush aside the problem. He acknowledged it and gave us the solution. Let all immoral souls realize their true nature in this life or next.

To have a desire for liberation is also selfish - that's eye opening. Have always been told that liberation is the ultimate goal of life.
