I'm a CBR650F rider in US and I still miss my Pulsar220 which I used to ride in India. My sister currently rides it. Whenever I visit India, I ride P220 A LOT. That's my first love.
@@Sinserg it is possible. I had spoken to a Chinese guy who had imported a Royal Enfield 500 to US from India. But, practically speaking, riding P220 on US roads would be fine and a life time experience if you wanna ride for only couple of times. But, on a long run it's gonna create lots of problems like 1. unavailability of spare parts, 2. Huge issue in keeping up with the traffic and overtaking would be a nightmare on the highways. You need to always keep the RPM near to the top end to keep up with the traffic which is not good for the engine in long run. Before buying CBR650F I wanted to import my beloved P220 to US. Thank God I didn't do that mistake. Now I feel CBR650F sucks on highways. I need more power.

Still own it, 2009 model no clutch replacement no engine work, covered Delhi to Rohtang, Almora, Mcleodganj, Shimla, and Nainital 7 times. Only one work is required timing chain replacement. It sounds awkward after every 10k kms. And center stand is on low hight. Loved it...9/10

I'm a hill area Pulsar 220f rider and my top speed is 115km/hr🙂.....can't reach beyond that speed because of the curly roads...i would love to ride on a plain roads and unleash the beast....🔥🔥🔥🌈☄☄

We had toured to Ladakh on Pulsar 220 in year 2010. No performance issues for at all. Rear seat is not suitable for pillion rider for a long distance. Also not very comfortable on Off roads stretches. As for headlight - The High beam reach is the best in all bikes. Only issue is fixed headlights do put on limitations while riding in ghat sections.
Really great bike for highways. Gets heated in cities with bumper to bumper traffic. Headlights are poor for hairpin bents because light direction doesn’t change with tire. Rear brakes lock mostly on wet surfaces.
When it gets heated, does it affect performance? As far as i know all bikes gets heated up more in heavy traffics. I own n250 and its an oil cooled bike like this one.
3:47 bro... I had a pillion from Delhi to Bihar on 220 abs. Believe me the pillion was like I won't do any trip on this bike it is the very very uncomfortable for pillion. While the rider (me) was enjoying the trip 😄 We have mountain behind our house we do almost everyday off roading and this bike is really difficult to handle/balance in mud. While the same is way comfortable in Hero Super Splendor. 😂
Did you do it yourself or did you visit a particular garage who know what they are doing with respect to the carb settings? I plan on going to ladak and do not want to feel the great power loss everyone talks about. My bike is not BS4
@@lokeshacm mine was bs4 2017 model :) Had not done any particular carb setting, just normal service karai thi that too before 1 month of ride, and ride k pehla just check up and basic service khud ki thi :)

I would say na 200 it has 6 gear more power than pulsar220 , little bit less power than cbr 250 ND great for highway . Price is little bit higher than pulsar220 but very very much less than cbr250
Pulsar 220 mein jo problem hai, mirror or tyres ka .bo, ns 200 me nehi hai. Aur dono ka power aur tork around same. So that bike is a good substitute 220 ka.

One of the best headlights. USP is High Beam on P220. Very long reach. Personally i still prefer Halogen compared to LED.
I have a pulsar 150 made of 2008 and I rode almost 1,60000 kms on it..and still my bike goes 80kmph without any problem....pulsar is beast and best..
I own a pulsar 220 2009 model and completed around 2 Lakh Kms including ladakh and india tour and still she is a beast

My 220 has drove almost 95000km and still works perfect no issue in engine and i keep repairing it so it doesnot have that much vibrations

No need to do any carb setting, just tune it as normal for spiti else Ladakh ride, as i did my spiti and Ladakh on 220 without any issues :)
