Honestly, I'd love to see some costumes. I got more than my money's worth out of the base price of the game and if they need some extra cash flow to justify more patches, I'd happily buy a costume or two for my favorite characters. The recolors just don't do it for me.
Deadass 🙌🏽 likewise, this game is wonderful with and without coop I have so much fun with these bosses. I have reached endgame and just grinding my luci sigils but even that keeps me engaged, I switch between Tweyen, Sandy, and Seofon and it's a blast everytime just switching between playstyles. This game deserves my money 😂🎉
the devs did say relink was a success, that the game did very well and the thing that helps them make content for the game is players feedback it gives them motivation to continue working on it. as for the future for relink is very safe we will get a relink 2.0 game in the future since they know their fans want more granblue like relink with more characters etc. if we dont get anymore updates to relink its safe to bet they might be working on that.
For all its flaws, I hope that we are getting a sequel to this game with more characters to play as and enemies to fight. The gameplay was so fun and I want to see Vira in the next game.
I'd hope they remove damage cap sigils and turn them into skills to unlock and become less sigil oriented or at least make some of the sigils more accessible for the casual players. Would definitely love to see actual outfits in a sequal instead of just recolours and more open maps kinda like the desert area.

I don't disagree but I will say TECHNICALLY, you can reduce it to 2 with Sigil Synthesis, or 3 if you want the extra cap up from Alpha/Beta/Gamma sigils, so to say we NEED 4 damage caps is entirely inaccurate.
My biggest gripe with the game lack of support for tank build other then heath, Garrison, strong hold, Steelers nerves, and strong hold. There no way to add damage cut to your tank build unless it all ready in your kit or it your character sigil, and the only new sigle they added for tank just makes them do more damage. I want to make tank build for the captain, have max heath, def as possible awhile have 100% up keep on the skills that make me tanker, and that make me tank all the damage my team take. If im able to grain the damn sigils i need, i think i can make an unkillable build granted you do no damage. This is were i find fun in game like this, not maximg out my dps to the moon and back Tho im sad to see this is there last update, after i Platinum the game. I probably never play it again
? Stout heart + steel nerves are 40% dmg cut already. There's also the crabvestment sigils which gives you more dmg cut. Can slot in auto potion, quick cooldown cascade etc to get a pure defensive build easily. Go for siegfried with his skills that increases defense and you're golden

Siegfried I never really look into his kit, I know he got a lot of def up buff but I rather the captain since he tank all the team damage, but I see what I can with him after work
Kinda agree with this. I mean its gonna be more fun with more precise role on the game as in one tank, one support and the 2 more can be dps. Go with sigil that agro the enemies and then dump as much survive as possible, so that our dps can do damage freely, while the support gives buff/heal much like rpg. But then again, i guess it will never be a thing for relink since it just does not fit the style of the game.
They should have put 250% damage cap as Mastery upgrade, so that leave us more sigil slot to fill in with defensive and support sigils, that lead so many possibilities for character like Vane to be full tank or Cagliostro to be full support, for the very least tank/support can do decent ammount of damage, despite what kind of build they are using..
About Seofon's warpath, sadly they didn't make the buff apply to every finisher in the avatar mode, just adjusted the description to say "avatar finisher" instead of just "finisher"
I really hope they continue to support the game even if its not every month. I hope they can do it or that they give it continuation with DLC or a sequel. the game is great, the characters are great, the gamplay loop is very fun and rewarding and I would love to see more of the story as I know the GBF mobile game story is fantastic.
I'd love to see a couple new maps other than Folca and Seedhollow. Additional chapters to the story as well as more characters. They can give us another update or drop Relink 2. I just don't think they should stop right now because the demand is still high.

I just returned after 4 months and feel so overwhelmed with all of the new characters, features, and changes 😂. That said, I've played pretty much all of the new action games lately, and none of them come close to Relink.
Im always thinking of playing the game again since it's one of my favorites but honestly nothing motivating me, i feel if they made it like more exploration and more things to do that would be nice and add skins, people would spend money for skins in the game, also maybe they can add more advancement options for characters so they get more skills too or even have main character able to change class like mobile game. People would love that. Also pvp might and might not work but having different game modes would have more people interested.
this game has been my biggest favorite since its first announcements and redesign, I have paid for all the DLC without exception and I would still be ready to do so for possible additions of characters or costumes or quests, in order to get maximum profitability. the developers have to know that we are ready to show them that the big fans that we are, we are ready to our biggest support for this wonderful universe that grand blue fantasy is.
Bro, i am totally with you. I have been excited about this game ever since its first announcement, and it does ended up being one of my favorite game. Its been a while i enjoy a game so much to the point i lost track of the time because of the game, much like when i was a child. Even thought i have been abit dissapointed for its avx2 issue and many more issue when it released. The amount of content kind of lacking and the build for end game does feels like so limited its all because dmg cap, other sigil ended up being not worth it too, the story feels short too imo, so for a game that developed that long, it just feels like they did not do their best effort, especially knowing that it is cygame. But then again, i still like to play the game. i love it, im on my way to 400hours into the game despite i only being able to play it ever since update 1.2. I'd really love if the games keep getting update like the fighting one, making some extra money out of it fine too honestly, and just keep making the game itself better. I really wanted for more GBF OG character come to relink such as vira or beatrix, considering that they are one of the main crew too. And yeah, i'd love to help those new player to grind honestly, even with my skill issue for dodging lmao. Just to keep the game being "alive".
The DMG Cap thing was a bad mechanic added to the game. Also defense feels worthless, they should rework the whole gameplay in the next patch, because how it is now they fucked it up with new bosses.

But if we talk about defense, even if i agree it feels worthless, Relink is a type of game where timing and reflect is crucial, going all def is useless, the sigil exist maybe just for new player where they still trying to getting hang of the game mechanism. Even so, i do still feels like the dev dont really know where or how they want to develop the game honestly and it is prolly the reason the game just stop there and no more making update. A shame but it is what it is..
LOVE this game, i'm hoping they make more granblue rpg's in the future, just as long as they keep the gacha out, that was the main selling point for me as there are so few anime games that aren't cheap gacha cash grabs.
I love it and I don't mind paying a tad extra for any further extra dlcs etc. It's fun my only complain is I hope they can introduce on changing the costumes of characters not just the colors. That'll be cool

just stick with getting maybe one character at Most Rackam is good for story clear, don't unlock any further characters till you finish the games story entirely cos then the characters unlocked will be around Lvl 50 it'll save you time and effort leveling the others up.
Essentially, what he’s saying is that the end game item for every character is called a “Terminus Weapon”. It is a very low and rare percentage drop from the Proto-Bahamut boss fight. It can only drop from characters who you have already unlocked, so if you have all the characters unlocked when you start farming the chance of getting it for the specific character you are using drops tremendously. You can force it to drop for the character you want by only having a few unlocked.
I absolutely love relink to death and I think its in a great state, but that doesn't mean I don't have a few small gripes. Mainly revolving around the dmg cap system and terminus weapons/sigils. Now I know the devs wanted to stay faithful to mobile granblue which good lord did they, but I feel the way dmg cap was handled wasn't the greatest. Pre-synthesis needing 4 just needlessly ate up build space and feel like it could've been crunched down to needing only level 30 or 45 to hit cap, especially since in the mobile game dmg cap doesn't feel nearly as suffocating with build space. With synthesis this would mean we would only need 1-2 slots, and if capped at 30 would make the cilius sigils a perfect upgrade to work towards. Lastly with the terminus system, great that it's there as the perfect end game point, but soft locking/hard locking us to 45k hp just restricts builds further. I feel this is especially the case with the Gamma sigils feeling like a bandaid fix since thats the only way to really get a good healthpool if you want good damage. I feel it completely just deletes a chunk of sigils from the game because they don't mix with terminus dmg so why use em. However, gripes aside I'm happy with the game we got in the end, as someone who was also really excited for it back when it was announced. The only thing I'd love to see be added is a proper ultimate bahamut fight closer in line with Versa's fight. Mainly because I want to see how it would be handled.....and to hear "The Ultimate" in relink lol.
I bought the 3 characters, but the amount of farm I made was not necessary. I bought to support their work and in hope they made a little more of DLCs. Lucius it's a miracle I beat (more a lancelot feature), the zero is impossible. 😢
I wold like they introduce some kind of PVP mode.. something 3v3 with HP leveling for de size of the damage. And aways imagine that they could creat some kind of Tower leveling, with maybe 10 levels or more for maintain the challeng e interess for creating diferent builds and alternate with new sigls. And of course a battle pass with new costumes and skins. The best game launched in tha past feel years.
Onestly end the support for this game so early it's a dumb decision: it sold very well and the community is still alive even after couples of months. Keep adding characters, new bosses and activities would simply increase the profits. I really hope it won't end here
In the unlikely event Metaphor really blows me away - this will definitely be my game of the year. I am getting somewhat tired of the hobby so it never really had much competition. Dragon's Dogma was too same-y and undercooked and Gundam Breaker 4 will likely be Breaker 3 with a new coat of paint. Megaton Musashi, Sand Land and Fantasy Life all look like "wait for a sale". Not the most hype year for me.
What they really should add to this game is a mission where you fight bosses 1 after another or multiple and and everytime you kill the boss new one thats harder higher level and the bosses should be random why would i farm gear after luciess so give us a place to use that gear for

I hope the game continues and it doesn't just leave 1 character to be OP while the rest aren't as powerful, My favorite is Narmaya but would be nice if everyone has their fair power scale balanced, like after I make my Narmaya as good as she can be, I want to try another character without meeting so many players using that specific new player thats being used, just cause everyone is using Sandalphon. Sandalphon is powerful and cool, but I already knew many players were going to use him a lot and I like to stick to my original favorite Narmaya and see what people are doing with Sandalphon.
To all the lore contained in the franchise they would add a lot of more places and main story gameplay instead of a bit of harder quests every 3 months. The game is very good and has an incredible potential the company is not exploring enough.
If they ever make a sequel or a spin off to this game, I hope they reduce the grind and add a bit more depth and legth to the story. Also to reduce AFK farming and increase Co-Op they simply need item drops to be like 2-3x+ rate while online or some extra rewards that are really worth.. Other than that the game is really fun and worth its money way more than some typical gacha game nowadays that tries to lure people into spending hundreds of $ per month to race in artificial ranks..
Now if only GranBlue Fantasy itself had an official English version so people don't have to jump through hoops and translate Japanese just to make an account.
Game's dead tbh. They don't fix the stuff that matters, like Ferris/Rosetta damage, meanwhile Charlotta is "ok". Lancelott braindead build is ok. New content is just a dumb boss you can farm to get a sigil that doesn't matter. Meh
my opinion in dmg cap is kinda opposite of u anyway, it is indeed will make the game more fun if u remove dmg cap and make your build more variety but the bad side is u will encounter stuff that happen with the 4 characters bug u already mention and thus make the game more tedious than fun if u decide to play online and have a bunch of other player doing billion of dmg
Game gets boring grinding the same bosses just to get items you won't have any levels or things to do in the game to use what stupidity is this? You farm termninus weapons then you farm Lucilius to get new sigils, but at the end of it, you don't have anything left to use THOSE NEW WEAPONS AND SIGILS WITH!! IF I had their power I would be 1000x what they can do. I would have had after this a 1000 level dungeon filled with really hard and high level bosses and monsters of all kinds, so a 1000 level dungeon that saves per level and can be played in co-op and you can use your aquired weapons and sigils you got from doing quests to use them in this super hard 1000 level raid dungeon. The game also needs multiple variation outfits for each character. This game has a wasted opportunity with so many emotes, and items and level ups to do to make it worthwhile to implement a massive world filled with long level dungeons to do in 1-4 player offline or online. See what I mean 1000x better than the devs of this game.
I actually like the new gauntlet quests... really challenging and I love seeing everyone fail repeatedly... Except for those that use cheat mods of course. Ran into one last week... They seriously need to introduce anti-cheat.
Does the game still have the awfull end game where you farm the same boss over and over again ? Because this is the biggest flow of the game to me not really the balance. I want end game diversity... The grind for material and sigil was so bad I stopped playing and I spent 1200 hours in monster hunter iceborne but I can't play more than 1 hour in this game so there is something wrong. Gameplay is so good but it feels wasted on lack of end game content tbh. I will get mad people at me for criticizing but anyway I just want the game to be better.
We need way more quests than they added this update and frankly though a sequel seems more likely they need to do dlc expansions instead as there is too much content to add from the original game that we would need either 10 more games or a bunch of dlc expansions to summarize the previous chapters and add characters and others to continue the story and add more characters as well. A sequel could do this yes but it would take far longer to make and be an insult to the time we and the devs already put into this game.
Character wise we need at least 3 of the 6 Dragons (Wamdus, Fediel, and Galleon though Wilnas and Lu could work too), Zoey, Vira, Silva, Yuel, Ladiva, De La Fille, Anila, Kumbhira, Aliza, Sturm, Drang, Anthuria, more Eternals, more Primals, and a character or two from some of the islands from the I think 131 story chapters and 84 ish side stories that come before where GBFR starts?
Also money wouldnt be a problem for a passion project like this considering the main game is a gacha and for some reason they keep updating the fighting game despite it being a massive failure in comparison to GBFR
The best way to look at it is this: Buy all the addon packs, keep playing the game, and keep voicing your desires and feedback to the devs as your wallet and time speak loudest to them.
there will be no more expansions, there will be no more update. no new content, no nothing, 1.30 was the final update, the game has reached the end of it's roadmap.

With synthesis this would mean we would only need 1-2 slots, and if capped at 30 would make the cilius sigils a perfect upgrade to work towards. Lastly with the terminus system, great that it's there as the perfect end game point, but soft locking/hard locking us to 45k hp just restricts builds further. I feel this is especially the case with the Gamma sigils feeling like a bandaid fix since thats the only way to really get a good healthpool if you want good damage. I feel it completely just deletes a chunk of sigils from the game because they don't mix with terminus dmg so why use em.
However, gripes aside I'm happy with the game we got in the end, as someone who was also really excited for it back when it was announced. The only thing I'd love to see be added is a proper ultimate bahamut fight closer in line with Versa's fight. Mainly because I want to see how it would be handled.....and to hear "The Ultimate" in relink lol.

I wold like they introduce some kind of PVP mode.. something 3v3 with HP leveling for de size of the damage. And aways imagine that they could creat some kind of Tower leveling, with maybe 10 levels or more for maintain the challeng e interess for creating diferent builds and alternate with new sigls. And of course a battle pass with new costumes and skins. The best game launched in tha past feel years.
Onestly end the support for this game so early it's a dumb decision: it sold very well and the community is still alive even after couples of months. Keep adding characters, new bosses and activities would simply increase the profits. I really hope it won't end here

What they really should add to this game is a mission where you fight bosses 1 after another or multiple and and everytime you kill the boss new one thats harder higher level and the bosses should be random why would i farm gear after luciess so give us a place to use that gear for

I hope the game continues and it doesn't just leave 1 character to be OP while the rest aren't as powerful, My favorite is Narmaya but would be nice if everyone has their fair power scale balanced, like after I make my Narmaya as good as she can be, I want to try another character without meeting so many players using that specific new player thats being used, just cause everyone is using Sandalphon.
Sandalphon is powerful and cool, but I already knew many players were going to use him a lot and I like to stick to my original favorite Narmaya and see what people are doing with Sandalphon.
To all the lore contained in the franchise they would add a lot of more places and main story gameplay instead of a bit of harder quests every 3 months. The game is very good and has an incredible potential the company is not exploring enough.

If they ever make a sequel or a spin off to this game, I hope they reduce the grind and add a bit more depth and legth to the story. Also to reduce AFK farming and increase Co-Op they simply need item drops to be like 2-3x+ rate while online or some extra rewards that are really worth..
Other than that the game is really fun and worth its money way more than some typical gacha game nowadays that tries to lure people into spending hundreds of $ per month to race in artificial ranks..

Game's dead tbh. They don't fix the stuff that matters, like Ferris/Rosetta damage, meanwhile Charlotta is "ok". Lancelott braindead build is ok. New content is just a dumb boss you can farm to get a sigil that doesn't matter. Meh
still wish they didn't shoot aerial ferry's sba gain that was my favorite, but her warpath sigil can be fun for onslaught playstyle so that's nice

my opinion in dmg cap is kinda opposite of u anyway, it is indeed will make the game more fun if u remove dmg cap and make your build more variety but the bad side is u will encounter stuff that happen with the 4 characters bug u already mention and thus make the game more tedious than fun if u decide to play online and have a bunch of other player doing billion of dmg

Game gets boring grinding the same bosses just to get items you won't have any levels or things to do in the game to use what stupidity is this? You farm termninus weapons then you farm Lucilius to get new sigils, but at the end of it, you don't have anything left to use THOSE NEW WEAPONS AND SIGILS WITH!! IF I had their power I would be 1000x what they can do.
I would have had after this a 1000 level dungeon filled with really hard and high level bosses and monsters of all kinds, so a 1000 level dungeon that saves per level and can be played in co-op and you can use your aquired weapons and sigils you got from doing quests to use them in this super hard 1000 level raid dungeon. The game also needs multiple variation outfits for each character.
This game has a wasted opportunity with so many emotes, and items and level ups to do to make it worthwhile to implement a massive world filled with long level dungeons to do in 1-4 player offline or online. See what I mean 1000x better than the devs of this game.
honestly this update was disappointing. The new quests are just torture and don't even give out anything new....
I actually like the new gauntlet quests... really challenging and I love seeing everyone fail repeatedly...

Does the game still have the awfull end game where you farm the same boss over and over again ? Because this is the biggest flow of the game to me not really the balance. I want end game diversity... The grind for material and sigil was so bad I stopped playing and I spent 1200 hours in monster hunter iceborne but I can't play more than 1 hour in this game so there is something wrong.
Gameplay is so good but it feels wasted on lack of end game content tbh.
I will get mad people at me for criticizing but anyway I just want the game to be better.
We need way more quests than they added this update and frankly though a sequel seems more likely they need to do dlc expansions instead as there is too much content to add from the original game that we would need either 10 more games or a bunch of dlc expansions to summarize the previous chapters and add characters and others to continue the story and add more characters as well. A sequel could do this yes but it would take far longer to make and be an insult to the time we and the devs already put into this game.
Character wise we need at least 3 of the 6 Dragons (Wamdus, Fediel, and Galleon though Wilnas and Lu could work too), Zoey, Vira, Silva, Yuel, Ladiva, De La Fille, Anila, Kumbhira, Aliza, Sturm, Drang, Anthuria, more Eternals, more Primals, and a character or two from some of the islands from the I think 131 story chapters and 84 ish side stories that come before where GBFR starts?
Also money wouldnt be a problem for a passion project like this considering the main game is a gacha and for some reason they keep updating the fighting game despite it being a massive failure in comparison to GBFR
The best way to look at it is this: Buy all the addon packs, keep playing the game, and keep voicing your desires and feedback to the devs as your wallet and time speak loudest to them.
