There's an even easier way. Hook the buttons up to a dispenser with powder snow, make sure there is space for the powder snow to be dispensed. Use a comparator, then 3 pieces of redstone dust, then a repeater. When you press the buttons the powder snow will be placed or picked up and the signal strength of the dispenser will change.
after connecting the buttons to the 3x3 door, the last two pistons fail to reach up and grab the last block to open it. It closes just fine though. I did change those two repeaters to 3 ticks
Wow was just thinking on how to improve my entrance very easy and couldn’t cause I suck so turned off my Xbox and opened yt and this is the first video I see😂
When I open the door the block that is under the middle block of the closed door doesn’t get pulled quick enough by the piston on the left because that piston and the piston under the middle bottom block move at the same time and then the middle block ends up at the top how do I fix this?
The easiest way is make a dropper facing up directly into another dropper which facing into the side way and place a hopper facing into the lower hopper a coparator on the hopper (not facing into the dropper) fill the upper dropper with a wooden shovel (can be any item that does not stacks) and place a block next to the lower dropper a repeater on that block and a wire of redstone linking into both of your button
That’s the way most people like to do it, but idk why but it just never works for me hence why I go this route, in the latest update you can just use a copper bulb tho which is much easier
I tried doing this with a redstone thingy- it doesn’t work. I used your 3x3 redstone tutorial, but instesd of it being a 3x3 its a 2*1, yk, the middle piece. It works perfectly fine with a lever, but buttons just don’t work the way you showed it. It could be because i changed the design, but i wanted a 2x1 piston door that went up, instead of from the sides, but i couldn’t find any
Amazing tutorial, everything worked perfectly fine and I understood everything. Tho idk how to put the button on the wall in a 3 by 3 door without it activating one of the piston. Edit: never mind i figured it out.
2:20 but what if it DOESN'T work? I tried to do this to your 3x3 flush trapdoor, but replacing the lever with a repeater does nothing. I tried replacing the lever with redstone dust and running a repeater into it, but that caused the door to close only halfway. (The blocks were pushed together, but not pushed back up.)
Uh why is this a diff door??? When you showed how to make a 3 by 3 door it looks nothing like this door in the vid. And in that other vid you opened it with buttens??
Oh ok well i figured it out but now im trying to cover every thing and for some reason when i place a block next to some red stone dust the door moves one of the block to the middle and it stays there. Im useing dirt, also at the bottens there is red stone dust on top of it so i cant place a block to fill it, but you somehow did.. idk how to fix any of that so can you tell me how to fix everything?? Or try to make a video about it?
@garyndoriburdine5148 I don’t really understand what you mean sorry, do you have discord or Twitter so you could possibly send some photos of your issues?
Tell why it does not work, like what went wrong after you built it. Next time if you made something from tutorial does not work, tell them what happened after you built it, maybe something is wrong.

Thanks a lot man
Just figured out how to close or open it from the other side aswell 🙏🏻
You're genius 😮
Well, now it's even easier with copper bulbs. Just use a copper bulb, and then a comparator facing away from the copper bulb.
Thanks mate, making the spiral 3x3 in my base with the buttons
this was really helpful, i used the redstone setup to make a lowing floor that drops 2 blocks.
after connecting the buttons to the 3x3 door, the last two pistons fail to reach up and grab the last block to open it. It closes just fine though. I did change those two repeaters to 3 ticks
I can remember this in my head, it’s so easy
You can also have a copper bulb hooked up to a comparator and the buttons
Wow was just thinking on how to improve my entrance very easy and couldn’t cause I suck so turned off my Xbox and opened yt and this is the first video I see😂
Don't give up! Redstone is a challenging but the most rewarding skill in minecraft in my opinion.
I needed this
Hey man thanks this helped alot
Np :)
Thanks
This was very helpful
For java there is a slight issue but fixed it you just need to put two repeaters on tick 3
👍
Could you explain how you made it on Java? I'm having issues and for the life of me can't figure it out TvT
@quinb9584 I have a new version of this video that works on java 👍
@@TomcoTwo lifesaver + you’re the best, thank you!
You could also use repeaters with one repeater that is locked also with redstone torches and of course some redstone dust and a button 👍
Edit:👍👍👍
Amazing work
Copper bulb is one of the best feature when it comes to redstone imo since it acts like a t flip flop but smaller
it is pretty great
Nerd (but in a good way)
This is stupidly helpful.
Extremely helpful 10/10 tutorial
Works super well!
Just spent an hour trying to figure this out on java ;-;
Thanks helped a lot

You might need to set some of the repeaters to 3 tick instead of 4
How do I link this to a calibrated skulk sensor thats connected to a clock? I keep having issues.

Every once and a while its pushes the middles block to the top instead of retracting
The repeater on the far bottom right has to be in 2 tick delay and set redstone where the lever would be
@@JonathanMartinez-cy4znhow’d you work that out?
Uh that didnt work. That just breaks the door now my door is broken becuse of this and idk how to fix it
Now i have to rebuild the whole thing
How Can i have Buttons to 3x3 sand door
Ty bro
sometimes when it closes it closes fine but sometimes it doesnt clode the block in the middle i dont understand

Can you do a tutorial on how to make a 3x3 button piston door
He has but IDK yet if these buttons will work for it
I somehow managed to make the 3x3 link up to 2 leavers which works just like this 😂😂
What if the input is on the top how would I do it??
Hard to put on 3x3 piston door
How to use it in stair case base 3 lenght of bamboo u made
Does this still work
I tried doing it but the red stone torch just won't turn off
Same
The problem is my redstone doors break i realized just now its the buttons making the door break
Materials?
but mine did not work with the redstone and repeater
The observer won’t turn off the restore torch, not sure how to fix
Are you on bedrock?
@@TomcoTwo no, but i fixed it using a different t flip flop method
@@TomcoTwo but i understood well from this video so i could like, change the other method a bit to fit how the piston was placed in this video
do you know if the t shape thing works with the dropping sand door?
yes it works w everything
i built a sand castle w that door and im using this for like tge closing amd opening thingy
nice
how about the piston trap door>:(
Does this work in java 1.20???
Do copper bulb work?
yes but theyre not released yet, when they come out ill make a new video about this :)

Because this is bedrock only
@@marierole5611 I'm definitely on bedrock. Got no clue what went wrong
Wood button or hoppers facing the wrong one
this does not work
😂😂way to much redstone for 2 pistions 😂
I have a newer version which is smaller, but still not perfect for a 2x2 XD
Thanks
