    Great video brother. I’ve had many RC motorcycles through the years and I have to say that I wish I could cough up the money for this one because it just looks awesome but someday I will. Great video and tips. 👍💯🙂

      appreciate it brotha! I would wait a little because there are tons that just jumped on it that aren't too into bikes and they are not going to keep there promotos. Sure you can snag one up for a good deal soon enough!

    The Spectrum Pro Basher G2 6200 battery fits great. I upgraded my pro moto to a 100amp esc and a 5400kv 3652 motor. Stock 85A esc would go into protection mode if I held it at full throttle for more than 2 seconds. Someone needs to come up with a kit to change it for a dirtbike to a street bike like a busa, 1000RR or R1…

    It needs a separate button for the front brake for stunt's

    Does the blue tooth module allow you to adjust the ESC settings as well or just the servo settings?

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just transmitter settings. Pretty much gives you endpoint adjustments for fine turning and also telemetry on your phone for lipo voltage, amp draw and esc temp.

    Do you have to dissassamble the frontend to put that extra spring on the servosaver?
    Do you have a link for wich esc programming box needed?

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  หลายเดือนก่อน

      its been a while since I did it. I think its just the radiator support piece that needs to come off to get access to the steering servo. It wasn't hard to do. ai would recommend using the original spektrum card but some Hobbywing cards work. According to some not all the HW cards work and some even reset there esc and will cause running issues. Imo it runs great the way they set it up and the rest is very marginal gains. (adding the extra servo saver spring does help with steering)

    Hi. Do i only need to buy the Bluetooth thing? Great video.

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The Bluetooth module installs up top on the stock transmitter and is all you need. You will need the app to changed settings.

    Glad to hear your specktrum controllers haven't giving you any issues. Mine, has been nothing but issues. I keep having range issues with mine. I contact Horizon about it already. They have the radio on back order. Who knows when I will get a replacement? Anyway, I get about 100/150 feet range on my bike. Before loosing control. Real bumber. I am not 100% sure if is do to the radio, or ESC overheating and shutting down?

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you loose signal or is the bike shutting off? If your loosing signal the only way to see if its the transmitter or receiver is to bind another transmitter to your bike. Do you have any of the other dx3 or spektrum transmitter or a friend with one? Make sure when testing with a different spektrum transmitter not to go full throttle because you might not have the modes and it may just flip over and cause damage. Just place it far from you or have a friend hold it while you walk away and see if signal is better with a different transmitter. If it isn't better then its possibly the receiver or even the antenna on the receiver may have been compromised. If it's shutting off look into you battery connection and esc wires to check for anything out of place. May have a defective esc if it just shuts off or bad battery if it just keeps going to low voltage cutoff.

    • @lexsteel12
      @lexsteel12 ปีที่แล้ว

      @RunThatRC I checked the antenna wire. It looks undamaged. I do not have any other spektrum radios. I checked with another bike I have. The ARX-540 bike. I have a RadioLink receiver in that one. I have no range of problems with that one. I tested my Losi bike on an open field. So, there is no signal interference. I did rebind the radio and receiver. I still have the same problem with range. I am not sure I what the problem might be? As I mentioned, I did notice the motor gets very hot. I have heard of the ESC overheating and possibly shutting down. But, when I move closer to the bike, I regain control of it. So, I'm guessing it is either the radio or receiver. The battery I am using is a Zeee 6500mAh 120C 2S with an EC5 connector. Freshly charged. Fresh AA's in transmitter. The connection is good with the battery. It could be as you mentioned any number of three things. Possible defective receiver, ESC, or radio..

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If it reconnects when you move closer to it then it's either the transmitter or receiver. Try a Facebook group from your area to see if someone can help you with another transmitter to diagnose your issue or a hobby shop near you should have that transmitter laying around. . I don't remember if there is another way to check than binding a different transmitter to it. That way you will know if the range issue persist then its a bad receiver, if it fixed it you have a bad transmitter.

    My Bluetooth module can’t connect to either my android or iOS phone. Pretty disappointed with it.

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's disappointing. I have my location and Bluetooth toggled on in my phone. It connects but sometimes doesn't. On your android try to connect and while it's connecting go to you app screen that shows all your open apps and click the dashboard app. That makes it work when that happens to me sometimes. It's finicky and wish spektrum would update it.

    Funny i never see anyone running good quality batteries with high c rating Irun Trinity ProTec Gens 150c batteries night and day difference in the punch and run time

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I have had a lot of "high end" batteries and yes there are some cheaper that can't provide the punch or runtime as a more expensive pack. There are also hidden gems that perform at almost 90% or more of the more expensive packs. I'm 42 and been in the RC game since I was about 8 years old. I've seen "cheap/budget" lipos keep up with more expensive lipos. There are only so many factories these lipos are produced and unlike in the past the budget stuff is getting good. Also I used to run more expensive packs for more serious stuff like when I use to race. As a basher now I don't search for all out performance. These cheaper batts I got work great and I will continue to use them. I actually ran cheap lipos in a race for fun once and I still placed on the podium. To each there own and we should just accept that everyone is going to do the hobby there way. We should all just have a blast and get more people into the hobby!
