Some of these are dead wrong. Cousins is a solid qb whose been yl the playoffs with his team and actually barring some injuries and crazy field goals could've taken his team further
(I once saw Cousins miss a wide open receiver and over throw him by 30 yards) and actually hit a cheerleader in the back of the head at the DEAD BALL line in the back of the end zone - next pass was a 67 yard pick 6 - it takes a really Special Talent to do that
If you told Brady or Montana to even attempt that Cheerleader bongo they couldn't even do it if it was actually the play called in the huddle 🤣

Chase Daniel, Drew Stanton, Taysom Hill, Colt McCoy, Kevin Kolb, Case Keenum,
Stanton was on my lions back in the day behind stafford
@@WWFAttitudeEraFreak We also over paid Chase Daniels to be a back up to Stafford. Drew Stanton was at least on a rookie contract and serviceable as a back up. I actually like him as a lion and he went to college in MIchigan state.

You completely missed that Washington reset the QB market by tagging Kirk TWICE. That move overinflated his value and by making his value that high, better QB's found their worth skyrocket.

I love how they say for example Goff is a "system qb", all qbs are system quarterbacks....lol...Also you can't blame the players for taking the money, that's on the teams, not the players
Not all Brady, Rodgers, Manning and a few others have shown they are the system.
Here's the thing about Goff. He's absolute junk without McVay. Proved it with Fischer, again with The Poor Lions. After all; L.A. is the current SB champs, with zero running game. Goff had a healthy Gurley III, and he still blew it.

TPS has always been biased. If you look at their "Teams Weirdest Traditions" video, it really shows.For other teams they talked about their cool traditions or their super fans, but for teams like mine they said stuff like "The Raiders fans like to dress in black and fight each other"

I dont agree with the Kirk Cousins bit. Kirk played very well and it's always a cop out to put all blame on a QB when the team around him isn't that great. Minnesota defense really had one great season with Case Keenum and then become okay to mediocre under Cousins. I mean Kirk out performed many QBs the last 3 seasons but that's with a bad O-line that gets his elite RB killed and a defense that struggles game to game. Kirk has been paid for being the QB that led mediocre teams.
People had no problem dubbing Matt Stafford "Stat Padford" for his inability to make an awful Detroit team great. Kirk also wouldn't get as much criticism if that first Vikings contract wasn't fully guaranteed.
@@nstgaming631 you're right, but QB market is always the hardest market. As a Dallas fan I think we over paid for Dak simply because Dak will have all the pieces he needs and fall short
@@spookyfool Stafford could have got 5+ more million yearly from the Rams but left money on the table so they could afford other players too. Brady has done it too. Kirk and Dak should have both done that but chose to break the bank instead. In short they chose short term earnings over long term success.
@@nstgaming631 theres a difference between Kirk's and Stafford's case. Kirk was a free agent that teams were bidding for, Broncos, Cardinals, Jets, and Viking were trying to get Cousins while Stafford set the terms for his contract. Now Kirk could take a pay cut or take more into bonuses to open cap but in his case he is one of the most pressured QBs in the league and they really haven't addressed their bigger problems.
@@spookyfool You aren't wrong that the bidding war makes for a different scenario, but Kirk and the Vikings will still get criticism for the fully guaranteed part. However with only one year left on his deal, and the trade investment. The Rams were really competing with next years qb needy teams, and a constantly inflating market without any leverage. Not exactly favorable negotiation conditions for a team friendly deal.

You must be a great case study, living your whole life with no brain, and let supposed you got one you must have fried when you wrote the dumb ass response. You hear that one of your brain cells must have gotten fried.
I hope every team in 2024 this year can be successful in their own way. If you can push your players and everyone does their job correctly and everyone has been on the same page goes along way. If you can be in the playoff that good but keep going and don't let the haters get the best of you. It is ok to make mistakes but learn from it and move on from it.

Dak Prescott. The Cowboys keep trying to play him like he's Elite, but his true ceiling shows without a run-first mentality on the offense like they had his rookie season. He's getting Elite money right now for being a slightly better version of Kirk Cousins.

As a niners yes jimmy g did help us to get to 2 NFC championship games but he was overpaid because we could have even better play from Trey Lance this upcoming season

Same with Kirk. If you look at his numbers with the Vikings they are top 5ish. Were Diggs, Thielen, and JJ throwing themselves the ball? The Vikings had a top 10 offense last season but the worst defense in the NFL...with 4 minutes remaining in the half or game, the Vikings gave up TDs 40% of the time, last by a league margin, and the worst since 2000. Yet people point their finger at Cousins...he had game winning and tieing drives...it's hard to win games when your defense is a dumpster fire...
Flacco did deserve to be paid he won a Super Bowl and got Super Bowl mvp

Considering how the Carson Wentz situation went in Philadelphia the eagles should've paid and kept nick Foles. Foles wasn't going to do well in Jacksonville because its Jacksonville and they are cursed. Foles is only good in philly. The eagles should just bring back Foles since the bears released him and put him as hurts backup.

Cousins' career passer rating is actually higher than Brady's, Montana's, and Marino's. Sure he hasn't won much in the playoffs but the idea that he isn't a good QB just isn't accurate.

Man the whole Flacco situation still pisses me off. They signed him to an overpaid contract that murdered all hopes of building around him. He was never gonna be elite. He was good but not elite. He never had a solid QB coach after Kubiak left after the SB win. I knew he wasn't gonna be good after that run.
Steelers fan here. I loved when Flacco played for the Ravens.. He played good sometimes but overall got bailed out over and over again by the GREAT players around him. I was pissed when he got that contract because I had a favorite player named Anquan Boldin who the Ravens got one offseason and I hated them for it. Boldin made play after play in the playoffs the year "Flacco won the superbowl" and I always felt that as an NFL organization you should be able to evaluate your own players in a way that you don't give a joke of a guy a massive contract then stiff the man who made him look good. Just terrible..
