I use ncmpcpp + mpd, but I'll certainly be checking this out. I also see this has sndio (OpenBSD) output support, which is great! Thanks for posting this.
You're welcome! Yes I'm forgot to mention BSD in the video but I assumed it worked on there. I last ran a FreeBSD desktop about 10 years ago so it's been while!
Thanks EJ, when I :add ~/music/ it says Error: adding '/home/user/music/': No such file or directory. Doesn't make sense cuz that is the directory where I have my music. Also, when I start cmus it gives me an error about initializing MPRIS. Any ideas?

Case sensitivity? On most common Linux file systems ~/Music and ~/music are not the same directory.

Is there any way it can shuffle?
Yes, s will enter shuffle mode based on the mode (m key) you have. m toggles between, shuffle based on album, artist or all.
